DailyOutOfTouchWithReality Part 87
I've definitely heard Finn say words and even 2-3 word phrases.
It's usually in the background while they're focusing on Ollie, and completely unacknowledged by his parents.
I've definitely heard "wow", "lookit that there", "what IS it?", hey guys" and a bunch of dadas, Mimis and papas.
He talks, it's just that they almost never vlog JUST Finn.

And unfortunately, if they did have Finn simply say a three-word sentence with the focus purely on him...all the 10 year olds in the comments would complain about how they don't love Ollie and they show too much Finn, so he'd be pushed in the background againTheirmom wrote:I've definitely heard Finn say words and even 2-3 word phrases.

100% agree with speech therapists and hopefully Mithy can get some use out of it too.KaterTot wrote:How many times did Mithy call it an "air socket" when candling the eggs? Good grief she kept saying it she really can't grasp simple terms and I am in NO way an expert at baby chickens but common sense told me she was meaning pocket.
And the boys did SO good all week.
Get those boys to speech therapists and preschool stat.

The way Missy was talking about Finn and the vomit, sounded like he vomited before he fell asleep. So Missy fell asleep while he was scream crying???

Gaaaah. I hated this part of that clip. Ollie looks like "The Good Son" status here. It really stuck out to me lolBaconsgirl wrote: For some reason I like this picture off Ollie. Y'all may disagree but he looks like a kid having fun.

Re: DailyOutOfTouchWithReality Part 87
100% this!!! I will say, since he slept for over 3 hours (according to missy) and she had to go get him up that it was clear that the child needed a nap, THIS TIME.. but 90% of the time they shove him in his room bc they want him out of their hair so they can film Ollie. And he has to be in bed by 7? Why does Finn have a bedtime but Ollie doesn't? I don't understand at all why they make Finn go to bed before dinner, before its even dark out but yet Ollie is allowed to pass out on the couch with a snack and TV a who knows what time at night. Will they still do this when he has to get up for school??tintin15 wrote:Honestly, from Finn's POV, I would be really upset, too. Even if nothing else is wrong...I HIGHLY doubt he wants to sleep as much as they make him. I would hate it, too, if I were locked in a room several times a day like he is. He probably gets so bored and lonely. It would be one thing if he were a brat who refused to take naps EVER, but they lock him away for one so much that it's unneeded.

They will never argue with Ollie. My guess is he sets the schedule and they don't fight with him. If they thought they could put him to bed and have him stay there, I bet they would.Playsinrain wrote:100% this!!! I don't actually think they like Ollie any more than Finn! It's just easier to keep Ollie entertained and out of their hair.

Re: DailyOutOfTouchWithReality Part 87
He probably wore himself out crying. He may not have needed a three hour nap before he screamed so hard he threw up. He probably needed a bit of a nap because of jet lag and the trip, but all that crying likely wore him out too. I know I'm.exhausted after a long cry!Playsinrain wrote:100% this!!! I was going to mention that! On the subject of him being forced into so many naps. It seems that, even though they lock him away even if he's not exhausted, he always seems to fall asleep anyway. It's probably because they just let him cry and cry until he passes out.lmmomSD wrote:He probably wore himself out crying. I'm the same, a long cry is exhausting. Even a short cry can be a little tiring, but imagine crying hysterically for probably half an hour at times. That would knock anyone out, especially a little toddler.

Re: DailyOutOfTouchWithReality Part 87
My 27 year old daughter watched them with me today. First she said Missy looked like Debbie Downer from SNL. Second, she said their pool is Bedrock and the dad is Fred Flinstone. How hot will that be during the summer. Lastly, she wondered why they would not show the older boy the egg candling. They did it in a dark room they could have done it at any time.

Re: DailyOutOfTouchWithReality Part 87
I wouldn't be surprised if Missy has told Bryan to just ignore Fin when he cries at nap time because he "needs" to sleep, so of course he isn't going to bother with him. When Fin figured out how to climb out of his crib and open the door climbing on the chair you could tell that her terror had nothing to do with him possibly getting hurt but more her worrying about him never napping/sleeping to be out of her hair.
When she found out he wasn't a girl that is when Fin's fate of being "just another kid" was determined....poor kid. In one of her last Q&A vids she said she didn't want any babies right now because she wanted to have a year without having a kid hanging all over her but I bet if she got pregnant with a girl this year it would be like that comment never happened.
Ollie's the rainbow miracle child while poor Fin is the "I thought you'd be a girl but since you weren't you're just a burden" child.
These people should never have anymore kids.

Yes! I thought the same thing about Ollie seeing the candling. It would have been an awesome learning experience for him.Ducklings4 wrote:My 27 year old daughter watched them with me today. It's a summit for the unscripted creators to get together and discuss business plans like how to survive the adpocalypse.

Re: DailyOutOfTouchWithReality Part 87
Wow....Bryan is putting on more weight from every vacation they go on!! Leftover pizza on paper plates for breakfast.....I don't care how exhausted these lazyass parents are....these kids need nutrition! They can't cut up a banana with oatmeal? Eggs with strawberries? Like Missy needs to stop acting like she's 8 years old and take control over her children's health and well being. Her naps are more precious to her - clearly - since Finn had thrown up and she didn't even notice it!! There is no excuse for that - because she never pays attention to him! Yet these idiots can spend half a day on their chickens and make sure they are being raised properly! #DailyHypocracyLannings

I can't believe they destroyed their beautiful pool for this ugly rocky mess, who the hell has so much concrete around slippery areas? Especially with little ones.
