Ellie's birthday post about Jackson is really weird. Like she didn't even say that she loved him, she said, "This guy has done a lot for me." ...what does that even mean? So odd...

I was just coming here to say exactly this! I can’t even get over how much Ellie doesn’t treat Jackson like a son but as someone she has groomed to wear all these different hats to benefit her. How freaking sick!!!

I personally want Jennika and Sam to have a boy, but yet at the same time I’m really hoping it’s a girl just to further piss Ellie off.

I agree, Ellie should be watching the kids at 7am so Jared can do whatever work he’s doing in his office. But the reality in that house is Ellie won’t. And that will only get worse when the baby is actually here. So if Jared can’t be real with Ellie and get her to step up his next best option for keeping those kids safe is to move his office downstairs. I don’t in anyway think it’s fair that Jared should be working/editing and doing the majority of the child watching BUT that’s his battle to have with Ellie and if he chooses not to and to let her sleep while the kids are banished alone to the basement then he’s just as guilty as her for putting them in an unsupervised place to get hurt because he could very easily work downstairs.

I can’t believe he would agree to have another child with her when she doesn’t do squat for the two she already has and expects them to take care of her.

Now it takes multiple times of refreshing or trying to navigate between pages...or even post. I am sure they have a camera in the basement and Jared is using the monitor to watch the boys play while he “works”. This doesn’t excuse Ellie’s behavior but I don’t think they boys are not watched. I agree it’s not the same thing as watching in person but I wouldn’t worry too much about their playing by themselves

Has anyone thought about how #3 will fit into the messed up family and their equally messed up dynamics? Everybody has a role, and I wonder whose roles are about to be shifted, and where new baby will fit in. Will he be similar in personality to either of his brothers? Or will he give Ellie a run for her money?

From what I've been reading here, she seems to have shafted Calvin like she did Jackson when she was pregnant with Calvin, and Jackson is up on the ranks because he caters to Mommy. He's always been a good little boy, and quick to learn and please. I don't think Calvin will ever get that role... ever. I think he's going to become the new Jackson. Forgotten about.

My heart aches for these children, they don't stand a chance. Many will deny the abusive nature of these family dynamics because they look good to outsiders. They look like a young, caring, loving, happy family. What lurks beneath the surface is anything but those things...

When I saw this I realized Ellie must have zero self awareness to be able to post something like this on instagram. It's so blatantly obvious to so many others (not enough, apparently, but still).

Ellie is such a narcissistic bitch. The blog when they did the room change, Ellie was explaining it to Jackson and she said something like "Mommy needs her rest" and he was like "Is it because you have a baby in your tummy?" -- it's just so telling. Ellie, if you read here: It is not your kids' job to cater to you while you're pregnant. You still have to be their mom. They do not care about that baby until it's born. Do things with them that DO NOT involve your pregnancy. Talk to them about things other than the "baby in mommy's tummy"

She really is just the worst. The absolute worst. Those poor kids. I hope Jared did take Jackson skiing for his birthday. That kid needs some time to be a kid.

Ellie posted a pic of her holding Jackson with the captions something along the lines of this child/boy has done so much for me... and then said it was fun celebrating his birthday, obviously our children teach us many things, they mold and shape us as parents etc but again just seems like she has to make every post about her!

I wouldn't be surprised if she is pregnant again as quickly as she was with Calvin. She seems to get pregnant pretty easily when she's eating/at a healthier weight.

I don't think Ellie will have any issues taking to the new baby, its her excuse to hole up in bed for months. She loves the attention a baby gives her. Jackson will be an after thought in Ellie's mind, so long as he continues to mother Calvin in the basement she wont care. Poor Jackson wont have a clue what to do, Momma wont need him for support, she will be laying in bed all day with the baby.
