News flash Ashley, all kids make mess but that mess isn’t there because you have 4 four year olds, it’s because you have two lazy adults in the house. Can’t imagine what it would look like if Tyson didn’t have OCD

My poor husband, I made him suffer through the vlog today. He said there's no way that Tyson is OCD otherwise he wouldn't have all that facial hair and those couches certainly wouldn't have all that crap under them.
And my husband doesn't even watch these idiots and he still picked up on this tid bit.

There are many types of OCD but if you are triggered by germs or obsessed with cleanliness you would never allow it to look like that. I have several different types of OCD and I clean under my furniture cushions included every single day and if something gets dropped on it or under it I clean it right then. I also would never allow anyone to sit or stand on my kitchen surfaces for any reason. It is nasty.Night lady wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 5:22 pm My poor husband, I made him suffer through the vlog today. I have OCD. I don’t have a problem with germs but I do have a problem with cleanliness. I can’t clean underneath things because to do so would be too much for me. I certainly don’t leave them uncleaned though - my husband does them for me. That’s not the best way to deal with it because he’s facilitating my anxiety but I just can’t do it.oldschoolmom39 wrote:There are many types of OCD but if you are triggered by germs or obsessed with cleanliness you would never allow it to look like that. When I go to appointments etc I can’t sit in the chair unless it spotlessly clean. I avoid seating like sofas is public because of how dirty they are likely to be - or I used to. I don’t be out very much now. This sounds totally precious but I can’t even tolerate being in other peoples cars because their seats or under them might be dirty! When I used to go on holiday, I would take the spare linen in the hotel room and drape it over the seats in the room so I didn’t have to sit directly on them. That is OCD. Up until recently, if you’d asked me whether or not I had a problem with cleanliness I would have said no. I now recognise that maybe I actually do.
OCD restricts every aspect of your life. It got that the only place I would go on holiday was to my sister who lived in a different country. I knew her house was clean. Seats on airplanes? Don’t start me about that!
Compared to lots of people with OCD, I think my cleanliness issue isn’t that bad. I see absolutely no signs of real OCD in Tyson.

Re: GQS: Desperational Monday starring the Croupdruplets| Part65
They seem to feel so helpless where their children are concerned. That mess under the couch and under its cushions is avoidable if you don't let your children eat there, or if you only let them eat there on special occasions, and then clean up. When the kids are fighting, or interrupting, clearly A and T are annoyed, but they don't seem to have any idea that they could *teach* their children to behave differently. Of course, that would take time and attention. A. might have to put down her phone and stop filming herself. T. might have to put down his phone and miss his little edit girls' posts.
I'm reaching for a metaphor and not really finding it but the way children are treated in their early years repays the effort many times over, eventually. Most parents take a long view because kids are kids for such a long time. A and T don't take a long view of anything.
On a happier topic, Happy Thanksgiving to our American SISsies!

Unofficial cast list for Real Housewives of SLC. I don't recognize anyone, and they all sound infinitely more successful and interesting than any of the Utah vloggers.

AssCrack and AssWipe, the non dynamic duo, putting all the power of their big asses into moving the couch. Most effort expended by them all year.
Lame Goth Mom has another Greed commentary vlog posted with the tiny going for an x-ray after AssCrack landed on her foot on the tramp. It is comical to read the desperate defenses the KADS come up with on LGM's first vlog. Most of them write like tweens, which they probably are.

I have an OCD diagnosis. Not cleanliness related. For me it centres around obsessional thoughts around a certain topic. Oh and magical thinking (rituals) eg if I wear this item of clothing ot perform a task in a particular manner or order then xyz won't happen. I do also associate items if clothing with trauma and don't wear clothes I wore on days where certain events sent my anxiety through the roof. I have only recently been able to get over a mental hurdle and throw said items out.oldschoolmom39 wrote:You sound a lot like me. I don't hug or shake hands either. I do get twitchy about how things are arranged in cupboards and drawers but I am more all or nothing ie complete mess - ok. But if it is tidied it has to be done my way and I like things neatly lined up and in the right spot. I probably sound absolutely bonkers and maybe I am. I have been told it is a manifestation of the DV I went through. Also I have seen psychology articles linking OCD with trauma and PTSD which I also have symptoms of.
I don't want to defend Faddy but he could have OCD. His doesn't centre around cleanliness though. Perhaps he has obsessional thoughts centreing around lying on the couch all day?
