I hate it when you're having a normal conversation and there's that one person who can't put their point across without resorting to insults and name calling. If you can't put your point across without insulting others then you shouldn't be in the conversation. I'm too old to be sitting around name calling, I left high school a long time ago.

Re: BumpsAlongTheWayToTarget Part 8
So I have a question Can you normally read the road HOT on the rubber duck??
Re: BumpsAlongTheWayToTarget Part 8
At least you're trying to learn! Some people just take what they hear as gospel and pass that on. Popular baby websites (and, in general, anything that ends in .com and/or has a subjective/descriptive-type web address - like, 'greengenerationbaby' or something) are not really great sources of information. They're an okay place to start - as is Wikipedia - but that's all they should be... a starting point. Definitely look for .org or .edu addresses, and journals and studies (not articles about studies as they pick and choose what to write about and skew things majorly).runnerduck wrote:I didn't read any links but from what I've been reading lately, a lot of websites say that a diet too high in fat can alter the fat content of the breast milk and that chemicals from the environment, water, and food do leak into the breast milk.
If alcohol and drugs show up, doesn't it make sense that the toxic chemicals in all the processed food would show up as well?
Also, going on the idea that Oliver will just deplete her reserves of healthy vitamins and nutrients, how long until those reserves are gone? Especially considering she's not doing anything to replenish them.
Maybe I am way off base. I admittedly don't know much at all about this topic, just what info I have found on popular baby sites and then kinda adding my own questions/commentary to it.
A woman can have an unhealthy diet and have a mostly healthy baby. The type of nutrients will be different, but the body does a great job at providing for baby. However, if your diet is really terrible - there are some things we can't synthesize in our own bodies and if there's no supplementation, that nutrient will, obviously, not be provided in the milk. For example, my B12 dropped severely while pregnant and I absolutely must continue to take a supplement - the baby is getting what it needs, but I'm not. And if it continues to drop, the baby won't be getting it either.
The last thing is that intravenous drugs - as morphine is usually taken - are not processed the same way as food, which you ingest through your mouth, chew and digest. Yes, nutrients wind up in the blood, but it's drawn out by a very complicated process. Morphine is shot directly into the vein. It's much, much more direct. That's part of the reason why Oxycontin junkies don't just swallow the pills - they crush them.

Thank youladybug wrote:Hate Missy and Bryan but there is sooo much ignorance on these forums sometimes.
Breastmilk stays the same regardless of FOOD eaten. Of course MORPHINE, isn't a food that I'm aware of. Lol. So that's a different story. "pumping and dumping" doesn't work for drinking alcohol, at all. Look it up. You have to WAIT for the alcohol to leave the body, you can't just pump it out. Wow some people are idiots. I'm sure some of you don't even breastfeed or have children.

Yeah, and Bryan said "that's what all parents do right?" UH NO BRYAN. For Easter when my kids were young, I got them a little basket with a small little toy or something for their age in the basket. Not a shit load of candy that I liked because I was going to eat it.BaileyBoo12 wrote:Did you guys see that Missy & Bryan bought Oliver an Easter basket FULL of candy, so they could eat it? Lol

Something I'd totally expect coming the people who took their 3 month old trick or treating and ate all the candy.
Re: BumpsAlongTheWayToTarget Part 8
Yeah how ridiculous about the easter basket! When my boys were young and still my two year old, he doesnt get candy. I will buy clothes or a fun toy for his basket. Any excuse for these terrible eating "adults" to get candy and more junk. Just what they need right. Also, I absolutely hated the newest looks who's vlogging. The whole baby flirting thing and then oliver finding out it was his cousin was so innapropriate i thought. I didnt not find it funny!

Side note:
Am I the only one who gets so annoyed when they do something that other people do constantly just to give them a shout-out? To me it seems like they are just trying to drop a name and get a shout-out from them back.
for example: TheNiveNulls always go to IHOP, so Bryan and Missy started going to IHOP. Cullen & Katie go to target all the time, and Cullen started taking pictures with a big red ball everyday, So Bryan and Missy had to take a picture in front of the big red ball and "dedicated" it to Cullen.

For Easter my 2 year old is getting one egg and a few small eggs (because I want to do a Easter egg hunt with him, I'll help him eat them lol) and some pyjamas, some new undies and a new DVD and a new colouring book and crayons. My almost 1 year old is getting some new pyjamas, a new toy and a stuffed bunny. Easter baskets don't need to be full of chocolate to be fun.

Re: BumpsAlongTheWayToTarget Part 8
I think it's because of how people call them out on copying other youtubers, which they do. I think it's stupid how Bryan's like "oh let me give them credit, because you know no one else goes to iHop or target " I think sitting on the red balls is stupid, everytime I go to target, there's always some teeny bopper taking pics on top of them.mommyluvv wrote:Side note:

Did anyone see the Shaytards latest vlog? I felt like shays speech about how you need to be dedicated when it comes to daily vlogging and how you have to accept that you'll probably never get popular was towards Bryan.
Re: BumpsAlongTheWayToTarget Part 8
I watched shays vlog about that and I immediately thought of bryan and missy! I actually tweeted the nivenulls and told then they better get a brand deal with ihop bc daily bumps are trying to steal that. Missy and bryan NEVER went to ihop and you know they tell us about every damn place they eat. Out of the blue, they start going to ihop and hashtagging ihop copying the nivenulls. They can never be original. I dont like people to fail, but they do not deserve all the money they are making by copying everyone and basically making up stuff for content (car ride the other day).

You're not supposed to be they don't always work very well. My daughter has two and one of them shows the word "hot" if the water is at all warm.shortstop wrote:So I have a question Can you normally read the road HOT on the rubber duck??

Re: BumpsAlongTheWayToTarget Part 8
So dumb! My daughter is about a year older than Ollie so she was around his age last year at Easter. Her basket was filled with little things SHE could enjoy like books, a new cup, and a ball. This year she's getting 3 small candy items and the rest is little toys. I can't imagine filling her Easter basket with things for myself and not getting her anything.BaileyBoo12 wrote:Did you guys see that Missy & Bryan bought Oliver an Easter basket FULL of candy, so they could eat it? Re: BumpsAlongTheWayToTarget Part 8
Lol they made homemade chicken gnocci soup, I guess Bryan saw my comment that I wrote on here a few days ago. Good job Bryan! Now keep making more homemade meals and stop eating out so much! You're still annoying though.

Re: BumpsAlongTheWayToTarget Part 8
I have no doubts Oliver will get a candy filled basket next year as well. Chances are, if you have horrible eating habits, you are going to eventually drag your kids down with you. My son is only nearing a month old, so all he'll be getting is new spring outfits and a picture with the Easter bunny . My mom did pretty good when I was growing up,she focused more on outside toys because the beautiful weather was blooming come spring.Bubbles, water guns, skipping ropes, new bikes. We split the goody hunt between 4 kids, and there was always leftover candy to be thrown out.
At Halloween she'd let us have our fix Halloween night, and then slowly throw the candy out over the course of the week.

Your absence has gone through me like a thread through a needle.Everything I do is stitched with it's colour

Re: BumpsAlongTheWayToTarget Part 8
Any time i watch one of their videos i find myself rolling my eyes and shaking my head through the whole thing. They are just so immature. They do not seem at all like other 24/25yr old parents I know. Maybe part of the problem is them still living with Missy's parents, time to grow up already! I can't even imagine Missy surviving as a SAHM with a baby and toddler and home to take care of by herself IF Bryan actually left all day to go to work.
Where is the fun in giving Oliver an Easter basket full of candy for them to eat? They can (and do) buy whatever junk they want all year long. My youngest is his age and is getting a teether toy, bath toy and matching hat & swim shorts. Not a single piece of candy and he'll probably just want to play with the basket anyway
