I have gotten back on to inform you all that this is neither Sam nor Nia. I'm not sure who Matthew is, but I'll go ahead and mention that I'm not him, either. My name is Karen and I'll say nothing more. If you want to insist on hunting me down, I would be much happier providing audio of me reading a response. I would like to think no one would be creepy enough to try and figure out who I am. I have never spoken to any of the Raders and I live no where near them. I simply felt I should stand up for what's right.

Sam, Nia, and all Christians are supposed to share the Word. There would be absolutely no point in them doing videos daily if they were going to try and hide their faith to avoid offending people.

Seriously though, how the heck did they know the baby was a girl? In the new vlog, I believe Symphony mentions the baby's name, Layton Elizabeth, because she suggested they name the plants "layton" and "elizabeth" and the look on Nia's face read- that was the baby's name.

No one wants to track you down. Mods can look at IP addresses to make sure that people don't have duplicate accounts, or if someone comes on claiming they're a YouTuber the mods can confirm or deny. They tell us absolutely nothing about you other than whether you have an IP address that is from where the Raders are, which we all know, because they show just about everything you can to allow people on the internet to find them.

I'm so so sorry that happened to you. Nobody deserves that, not even Sam and Nia. I know I don't speak for everyone, but I think most of us genuinely do feel sorry that they lost a baby. But the situation just seems a bit fishy, you know?

And someone pointed out that they might have already named the baby because of something Symphony said. Am I the only one who finds it weird that they already were referring to the baby by name? I mean it's not weird at all to have names picked out for future children. But it just seems so early to know the sex of the baby, unless Nia had an amniocentesis or something. And Symphony, Abram, and Layton are such an odd sibset, name wise. I would have expected them to go with something more "girly". For a couple so obsessed with strict gender roles, Layton is a pretty masculine sounding name for a daughter. Even if Layton were a boy, I still think the name sounds a bit odd with the other two.

Could have spelled it "Leighton" which sounds pretty girly to me.

The pregnancy announcement and subsequent miscarriage video brought me here.

I saw Sam and Nia when their first Frozen lip synch video went viral. Tried watching their vlogs afterwards, but I quickly grew bored with the family's daily life and stopped watching.

I, like many of you, had this instinctual feeling from the moment I saw their pregnancy reveal. It just seemed staged to me. Their reactions, Nia's 'surprise' and their following display of grief--I truly hope this isn't the case, but I had gut feeling from the very beginning that this was a stunt. Could it be a coincidence that many of us had this very feeling?

So what could this be? Ultrasound photos of this supposed baby now lost? Or perhaps photos from a previous pregnancy (Symphony or Abram)? I'm curious to know what you guys make of this.

This is a terrible loss for the Rader family. Despite the many problematic things they've done in the past, they are still people and they still hurt. A part of me hopes that this is just a sham, just so that they don't have to suffer like this. It just reads like another stunt for more views and more sponsorships to me. They've done it before with misleading video titles and thumbnails. Why not take it even further?

This just can't be faked though. What kind of decent human being would take advantage of people by abusing this sensitive real life issue?

They have had those sonogram pictures on the fridge for a longgggg time. So it has to be one of the other children's sonograms.

Oh so because Sam and Nia are christians that means they never do anything wrong? That they are the perfect little family? Sorry to tell you that no one is perfect. Being a submissive wife is bullshit in my opinion. Nia has a brain and is capable of having her own opinions. If she doesn't want sex, why the heck should she have to do that to please her Husband? Sam is a controlling jerk. He treats Nia like a doormat. The girl doesn't even get to choose when she is ready to have a baby, Sam decides. The man can't do anything for himself and that's pathetic. I saw the miscarriage video shared by a friend of mine. I've never watched one of their videos, only seen them when they met up with B&M. before i watched attempted to watch the MC video, i watched the pregnancy reveal and wow, it did seem very staged... and then i watched the MC video (well, 1 minute of it) and that too, seemed so very staged. :/

can someone fill me in on why they're so disliked (other than being annoying)?

They asked their daughter what she thinks of Gay Marriage. Her response was "It's okay". They had a huuugeee bitch fit on camera and tired to convinced her that Gay Marriage was horrible. NatureBox dropped them after a petition was started.
Many people believe that the pregnancy announcement is fake. I see it all the time on FB.
Nia believes in giving your husband everything. Great example for your young viewers!! (Correct me if I'm wrong)
They also spank their kids with a paddle!
