He went for a walk with the DUUURLS in the wagon and before heading home he decided to go to McDonald's to get them ice cream cones. He went through the drive thru with the wagon and the employee told him she couldn't serve him on foot due to company policy. So of course he pulled out the camera to record her (although he was nice enough to blur her face)and say that she wouldn't make an exception. Then they left.
At the end of the video he sat down to say he wasn't looking for an exception to the rule he was just upset that they wouldn't go above and beyond and send someone out to him or bring water to him and the poor duurls because it was sooo hot out *cue eye roll*

What an entitled asshole. Some McDonalds even have signs saying they won't serve you in drive thru if you are not on a motorized vehicle!

I can't believe he thought it was ok, but it's never their fault... always someone else's.
And all for some fast food ice cream that none of them need.

Their diet is appalling. They are being set up to be as obese as Tyson and his family, who obviously all have bad diets. Too much junk and far too much takeaway. Even when they do their own cooking it is pure junk. Before he decided to get Mexican food for dinner he was going to serve them pancakes and maple syrup for their meal. Have they NO idea of nutrition? And the way they throw the snacks onto the floor and let the girls scramble around for them reminds me of feeding dogs. One day those babies are going to hate their parents for making them do that while they stand and laugh at them.

Ashley is away for a weekend AGAIN!!! for someone who couldn't wait to have children she is NEVER with them and always complains when she is. I don't understand her.

This makes me so sad for those girls. Why can't they give them a bottle before bed? Are they that lazy? And they should be weaning them off the bottle by now. I hope that they do it soon.

Not only do they put them to bed with bottles of milk ... but sometimes chocolate milk as well. Their diet is appalling! They eat very little aside from junk food really, so I'm afraid that teeth issues and weight problems are definitely in their futures. And Ashley and Tyson will profess to be clueless as to why.

Oh man... I'm so glad I found this thread. I don't even have time to write a 50 page essay of how much I can't stand them. The amount of comments I've had deleted on their fb page is ridiculously and the majority of them weren't horrible! They're both self entitled idiots and Ashley has Tyson wrapped around her finger.

They had so many complaints about the fact that they let them dance all over the dining room table ... an accident waiting to happen of course. Ashley said that she hates them doing it, but then encouraged them to continue by laughing at them.

I honestly just cannot watch their videos anymore, I just cannot stand them! When I first started following them I loved them. The discipline video was a complete load of crap. If they didn't want to show it on camera, fair enough, but stop recording them and tell them not to go on the table, off camera! Their logic made no sense, if they actually discipline them when they do these things then we would have no recordings of them on the damn table! They are in for a rude awakening in the future of they continue to let 4 children at the same age act like that without disciplining them. I'm completely against any spanking etc but even a firm NO would be better then laughing at them.
Coming from someone who has two Autistic children, with one of them who cannot communicate in any way or form, the baby talk is going to seriously affect their development. It is extremely important to speak to your children using proper words because this is the time they learn. Why do you think it's easiest to teach a child more than one language from a baby?! Its because this is the time they pick up on absolutely everything. Stop talking to those 4 children like you're their 4 year old sister.
I remember telling them that the girls were strapped in very badly in their carrier and I kept getting my comment deleted. I wasn't even nasty in any way at all, I was just trying to explain how dangerous twisted straps, loose straps and the chest clip being used as a choker was. They can't even handle people giving them serious safety advice. They both think their gods gift. They're constantly saying how hard it is to have multiples etc but they CONSTANTLY have help! If a mother can look after twins by herself quite easy then 2 of them can handle 4 children easily between them.

OMG the baby talk.... I just stumbled across this family on here and went to check out their channel, I couldn't make it through the Scarlett's hand update video because of Ashley's baby talk. Their *constant* use of nicknames drives me nuts... I actually like the girls' names, just use them! Scarlie is not a cute name.

I can barely stand watching their videos so I could be wrong, but do they seem to have an obsession with keeping the sets of identical twins together? I saw a costco vlog with twins in separate carts, then a picture on fb with dad holding one set of twins and mom holding the other... it's weird to me that they're creating this divide in the girls so early.

I figured this website would have a thread on the Gardners, I just didn't check it thusfar because I wasn't annoyed enough yet.

I study Child & Family Science and their videos have started to annoy me beyond repair now, though. Every week I learn things at school and then cringe when I see their videos. The girls are too old for Parentese. Reading this thread has enlightened me about how The only thing that keeps me coming back is the interest in the girls' development (if I'm honest, quite specifically Indie's), and the love that they give them, which is at stark contrast with, for example, Bubzbeauty and itsJudysLife. It's refreshing to see smiling toddlers.

Something that's really fascinating to me is the unbalanced-ness in their culture's conservatism. They're very conservative in the whole marry-at-20, church-every-Sunday and have-as-many-babies-possible-ness, but they name their children the weirdest "modern" & "noun-location-or-surname"-names. Tyson, Denver, Jackson, Madison, Oakland, Garrison, Linkin, Jett and now Crew??? And then there is the whole "girls and women need to be dressed really ~modestly~" but Ashley bleaches her hair super blonde and can't be seen without straightening it, and a face with makeup I'd expect from a girl that's going on a night out? I find it ironic tbh.
