The colours ain't THAT bad. When I was the twins age my bedroom was neon yellow and rose pink, top yellow bottom pink with a dado rail halving the wall.

I'm pretty sure the room at my mums house still looks like that. So I don't find the green TOO grotesque, and the pink could have been a lot worse (circa 2003 me)

I like the pink they chose for lilia's room. Its not too bright. The green for the boys room is horrendous though.

This girl isn't much of a fan of feature walls, is she lol. Those colours are too much haha. I'm a big fan of white walls and adding colour to the room with accessories. Her decor ideas hurt my head :')

I think the house is ugly and the filthy. But, I have no room to talk because I'm a renter. When I'm finally ready to buy, I have much higher standards than that.

I don't feel there is enough bedroom space at all. I can't imagine as the kids get older. I am about to have 3 kids(all under 6) in a 3 bedroom house that I rent and I'm having anxiety about space as they get older. My two older sons share a room, which is quite big, bigger than the master. So there will be a ton of space with bunk beds, but it will probably only work until my oldest is 10, maybe 12. I guess it depends on his personality.

Why don't you have room to talk, just because you're renting? Look at Jess, as I said earlier, I don't see the point in her buying a house that's close to a step below of what she currently rented. I'd say the arrangements as they where with their kids sharing rooms was ok for the moment (I know unpopular opinion) and I thought the whole point of her moving again and buying that house was to get two things done at once: becoming a home-owner and making more space for more kids as they get older. I'd say that was a pretty big fail from that point of view. So don't feel bad, just because you don't have everything planned out yet, because when you do, you most likely take the space your kids need into consideration, which makes for a better house in the end.
Also, I have a friend who had to share a room with her brother since she was little, but as they got older their parents decided to put up a wooden wall in the middle of the room, so that each of them had their private space, not only visually, but they could decorate their part like they wanted and live just like they would next to each other in seperate rooms, so that could be an option as well.

Well, thank you! I guess I feel that way because I don't know the home buying process whatsoever. So I'm criticizing her for not doing better and picking a house with the same amount of room space but maybe she couldn't have done better. I don't know what it takes to buy a house.

But for me personally, when I make the biggest purchase of my entire life.. it's gonna be nearly everything I want or I'm not buying it. I don't understand the rush for young people to buy houses, not only on Jess's part but even people I know personally. The house I could afford now, is not a house I want to live in for the rest of my life. I understand the equity part, but myself at 24 years old.. I'm just not ready for that. Plus I don't like the state I live in lol.

Sure, I mean, maybe there was no other option, of course I wouldn't hold that against her, but she could have waited then. So I'd say if she would have thought just a little bit like you do in your last paragraph, she would really have investet in her future home, I doubt she'll stay in this forever, or she has to live with a compromise.

Ohmygosh, what an unflattering screenshot... She looks so old. Wrinkles, thin hair, and huge nose and whatnot. My mom had me at 30 and when I look at pictures she didn't seem to have started aging (since 18) until after she had me. I can't imagine how Jessica is gonna look by the time she's 30, she's in like an accelerated aging program with all these pregnancies and small kids. Wonder how long her natural hair colour will last. Considering Chris' redhead obsession, hopefully a while...

I had almost exactly the same! The same colours but halving the wall was some bar is wall paper kept me happy as a child though I even had a bright pink carpet to match

I'm not the biggest fan of colors, but then again my taste is different. I prefer white walls and the furniture and possible pictures/poster/paintings give the room color.

I have to say something positive after quite a while of nagging: props to them for all the energy they manage to rake up. The house they can have, but the thing I would love to have is a little bit of their energy. I would love to redo the entire flat I live in, but I neither have the money nor enough people to help out, so it's great they can do it on their own, I would have to hire a professional for most of the things.

I don't understand why they primed the already white walls. That makes zero sense. And she primed the walls while holding Adsense, I've used that kilz primer and THE SMELL IS ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS, she had Adsense SO close to it, inhaling all those fucking fumes. She should have just left her with Mimi or one of the people from her army of babysitters. I don't understand her at all.

I am a sucker for home reno & interior design (this is the only way I'll give her my view - congrats MesssHead), so I have a few notes. Any junkie that huffs paint could tell them you don't need to prime bare white walls, just get the priming agent mixed into your paint color - maybe Ben convinced them to buy primer at Lowe's as a form of payback for bringing her harem of children to his peaceful workplace.

The next time I visit my parents in California I'm going to drive up to her house, and toss a book on why CHEMICALS and INFANTS do not mix at this insane lady. Does she honestly have a brain in there or is it all headbands, disney CD's and birthing pool info???? I am beyond rattled she thought it was ok to paint with MiracleBabyAdSense strapped to her contaminated looking chest.

I absolutely HATE the color of the boy's rooms. It's already giving me a migraine through the computer but then again when she has that many kids screaming at her she probably doesn't notice it.

My final snark is that that must be the most exercise she's done in a WHILE. Girl is looking chunky as fuck.

I was just coming here to say......priming white walls?! What a waste of time and money.
