This might be stupid and nit picking, but wasn't that hand lettering book in Ellie's christmas haul video? Didn't she say it was a gift? Today she says SHE ordered it off amazon. It's not a big deal but it just shows how much they lie about even the smallest things.

Also, ellie honey, hand lettering and penmanship are NOT the same skill. I think you are getting a little out of your league with the hand lettering if your regular hand writing is what is lacking.

Skipped through the vlog, noticed ellie used a new word (her vocab is so limited that it made me rewind and put captions on lol) talking about China projects coming into fruition on her channel. But then she follows up with

I bet Ellie doesn’t even know what she’s “working on” because she isn’t doing shit for it. I think the project she has with Bonnie is just her putting her name and money on whatever Bonnie is working on. I think that Bonnie learned a lot from the demonetization, but Ellie didn’t, and bringing her into whatever project Bonnie has going on is an attempt for her to try and help give E&J a safety net they aren’t willing to make themselves.

What mother of two has so much time to nap and sit and work on handwriting? Plus she’s supposed to be working on a project when she can’t even articulate a basic sentence?

I think it’s safe to say all the work in that house is done by Jared and Jackson.

Calvin's speech really needs to be checked. Yes and no is about all that is said clearly.

Now Jared riding the four wheeler to church. Where I live, to ride it on highways is illegal. Maybe not in Utah though.

This delay release of vlogs is a mistake in my opinion since they are current on their instagram accounts.

Poor Jackson. Not only is he Ellie’s therapist, he’s the co-parent for Calvin when it comes to adjusting him to daycare, helping him go back to bed, watching out for him, etc. He’s 4 and there is so much pressure and expectations that are placed on him. I agree with however said Calvin will never amount to what Jackson is and will just fall into the background because he doesn’t fit any of those categories. I don’t see Cal being of the same importance they view Jackson as with the new baby considering Cal’s big speech delay.

I know we're very critical of Ellie, and I understand why (especially around her expectations that the children provide her emotional support) but I do feel that Jared is complicit in this too. I think he gets what's going on and is enabling it, or at least not making any effort to stop it. The whole scene a few days ago with him hovering over her while she practiced her handwriting was so sad. He was treating her like a child and I sensed so much tension and anxiety in him to 'get it right'. I know it's difficult to be in his position (and he himself isn't perfect) but he has to step up and curtail this before it gets really out of hand. I speak from some experience here. Being your mother's therapist is not a good gig.

Ellie mentioned that it’s such hard work putting away the Christmas decorations and she’ll do a little bit each day. I’m sorry but what else has she been doing with her day except practise handwriting?!

I’ve also noticed that Ellie and Jared don’t “like” any of Ruby or Julie’s Instagram posts of their own plans that don’t involve her (i.e. New Years Eve or their giveaway). I bet they are seething that Ruby gave a huge shout out to the Deru Crew channel on her vlog and not their channel.

The thing I find concerning is, if this is the Ellie that Jared is presenting to the world, then how bad is it really? What is too "unprotect" for the vlog? She is a lazy and neglectful mother at this point. I don't care that she ignores and dismisses Jared, but she is no mother to those children who are going to grow up with abandonment issues despite actually having lived with a mother!

I think there are some major secrets in that house, and that this is the best Ellie "image" that Jared can put together. If I had to guess, I'd say she rules by keeping the boys all afraid of her, and that theres a wicked temper to be found if Princess is disturbed or inconvenienced.

because it's what I want to do! If I say I will save it for my channel I don't usually have time to film for mine. I want to put out content I want to film."

I would love to see what their little surgery said about Ellie's makeup tutorials, but unsurprisingly, she doesn't even care about the survey. She told Jared he should film tech stuff anyways if that's what he like despite no one choosing that on their survey. And they wonder why their channel is sucking?? Ellie doesn't seem to care at all about a successful channel, which is strange, because this channel supports all her spending habits. Also strange, videos on her personal channel seem to performs 2-3 times better than vlogs. No time to film but hours to sleep, practice handwriting, and bullet journal. She's a nut.

I read a funny comment thread on Bonnie's channel a few days ago talking about how Ellie and Jared are so boring. Lots of good comments about why people don't watch anymore...my favorite was something about how E&J vlogs are like watching Groundhog's Day.

Jared at least seems to be trying to improve things with the survey but Ellie clearly gives zero fucks. Her little speech about how she used to be self conscious about taking up the blog with long talking moments instead of showing the full day but now she doesn't care anymore...THAT IS WHY YOUR CHANNEL IS FLOUNDERING!! I don't get it, she wants the comfy fabulous life but doesn't want to put in any effort or be bothered in any way. Like she doesn't realize her cushy low effort lifestyle is a direct result of well performing videos?? You can't have both Ellie.

The Groundhog Day analogy is hilarious (and accurate). They don’t do ANYTHING interesting or different anymore like they used to. They hardly ever leave the house anymore. And when they do, it’s to Ellie’s parents’ house, Bonnie and Joel’s house, or grocery shopping. Same old boring stuff all the time. I’ll have to go back and read those comments on the Bonnie Hoellein thread. I have to admit, I’m way behind on that one despite liking Bonnie a lot (aside from her relationship with and catering to Ellie nonsense). I very much prefer to read and participate in this thread and be able to talk crap about Ellie with other people who feel the same or a similar way as I do. Haha! I do enjoy Bonnie’s channel so I’ll need to get back to reading her thread as well and seeing others’ thoughts there. I know some people don’t like her, but I think the overall perception/opinion of her is MUCH more favorable than Ellie’s (or any of the other Griffiths family members).

And did anyone else notice that when Ellie was showing her bullet journaling calendar she had something blurred out? (I wanted to say that it was on a Friday maybe?) I think she said she had a photo shoot when she was pointing to that day, but why would photo shoot need to be blurred out? Anyone think it may be something with Bonnie for whatever their “business opportunity” is and that’s why she was talking about (in a very incomprehensible way) the China stuff? And I think it’s funny how everything is a “photo shoot” - just seems like she uses that term a lot to make herself sound important or like a model or something. I don’t know - I never say that I have a photo shoot when getting some family pictures or back when we had engagement pictures taken or anything. We just say we have pictures scheduled.

Couple more thoughts/observations:

Going back to a couple days ago when Ellie was defending the decision to put Calvin downstairs in Jackson’s room she said she didn’t want to put them temporarily in the room with the bigger bed because she was “working on something and couldn’t have them in there”. Thinking that with the camera positioned where and how it is in that room that she’s been doing her little bump pictures that she was wanting to be all “artsy” with (which will probably turn out like shit). (Remember back before the miscarriage her showing Jared pictures on Pinterest or something like the silhouettes - and she was talking about how she’s never done maternity pictures before but really wants to have photos of herself pregnant this time?) Girl sure does love herself and enjoy looking at pictures, videos of herself, checking herself out in the mirror...and expects and accepts without any hesitation or anything any and all complements about her appearance or anything.

I really need to stop watching and giving them views - but I can’t seem to stop hate watching. I always come here first for the scoop, but based on everyone else’s comments and observations I always find that there’s “something” I just need to see for myself.
