Knorpp&South: When a FINGER AMPUTATION turns into a THRIFTING COMPILATION. | Part 4
Re: Knorpp & South: When a FINGER AMPUTATION turns into a THRIFTING COMPILATION. | Part 4
Due to the pandemic, everything has pretty much come to a standstill here. Yet Andrew does his ghost tours as if nothing special is going on. It seemed easy for him to find people willing to participate. I assume it's their support system that enabled him to hold these tours. The Knorpps have always said that the kids learn the topics they want to learn but it seems to me that the kids mostly wander around. It's hard to tell just by looking at a half hour video spread over several days but that is how it comes across to me. Also the scene with Asher, Jude and the knife was pretty scary. Esther and Andrew noticed it but how can Asher think this is funny or appropriate? Recently, a viewer sent Asher his grandfather's hammers.

The reason Megan can’t find any pictures of stovetops sitting on old dressers is because it’s a massive fire hazard and no one (apart from Meg) would be stupid enough to do it.
As an Australian nothing is more annoying then when Americans say “put a shrimp on the barbie” - we don’t call them shrimp we call them prawns.
Yesterday, I thought I heard Meg or Mike say the want a big house - what happen to their small house dream?

This woman has completely lost her shit. Did you see the mouth movements on overdrive as she was sketching that awful open plan kitchen? IT LOOKED LIKE SHE WAS MALFUNCTIONING. She has officially arrived at the destination of Crazy town. She can't be bothered to focus on anything that isn't renovation related. Open kitchens don't work, especially with large families who collect junk and have pets. It gets really messy really fast. I'm sure wiping everything down will only become another chore on the chart for the kids to do, Daily. I really can't comprehend how someone can be that focused on such trivial privilaged bullshit that she will inevitably change her mind about a week after its all completed. All while kids in the background are pacing bored, grunting because they haven't been taught how to communicate, or are eating dinner holding their cutlery like cave people. I've only mentioned a few, but you know there's plenty!! The last few videos I caught have shown the few youngest children walking around bored like zombies not learning shit. Why? Because Mom is too worried about what awful base cabinets go in a kitchen which she will ultimately redesign down the road anyhow, and Dad is a fucking Yes Man!!!. Unfortunately he's agreeing with Mom on EVERYTHING, repeating "thats cute" to avoid disagreeing with her, and her ultimately having a childish manipulative tantrum. We know she's really good at being a brat if she doesn't get her way.
I really wish she put all of the energy and attention she gives to the dumbest useless shit that she fixates on, to raising and educating the children, especially the younger kids.
I used to watch just to laugh at all the dumb shit she says while trying to act like she knows everything. Lately however I have become more and more concerned with the children, especially the younger ones. They are being cheated out of many things because the parents clearly can't be bothered to raise all these kids that they accumulated.
Some of my concerns are things like;
Medical conditions left untreated.
Kids left unsupervised more than not. (while playing with fire/electricity/water)
Kids creating and playing with weapons.
Shopping for rusted metal in the woods.
Pathetic dinners served with small portions.
Atrocious table manners.
Obvious lack of grooming. (Gets those kids real haircuts already!!!
Little to no special needs therapies.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST
A complete lack of the educational basics and fundamentals.
I hope someone intervenes before it's too late INCLUDING YOUTUBE!!!!
I WOULD BE TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY ASHAMED AND EMBARRASSED OF MYSELF IF I RAISED MY KIDS THEIR WAY!!!!!
YOUTUBE Shouldn't be their priority when they have 9 kids!!!!

I can't stand listening to her obsess over her kitchen. I fast forward through the places she's talking. I don't know how they are going to keep viewers through this renovation. To me, it's mind numbingly dull. I had to stop watching completely. Scary kid was made to go shopping again. The way you can hear Jude screaming from out in the yard (on the trampoline with Asher, Jude, Eve) it sounds like Asher is torturing him. I've noticed a couple of times recently where it was caught on camera that he was doing something to Jude, (besides the knife incident). If his aggression towards Jude is obvious to us who see very little of the day, imagine what we don't see. Scary. I also worry about Eve. He's going into puberty. Isn't he 12? Eve can't verbalize well enough to tell on him if he's molesting her. How long are they going to drag him everywhere? I don't trust them to protect Eve and Jude long term. What a nightmare situation this is turning into.
And who are these people who comment all the time about what phenomenal parents they are? People sure do have low standards if a mom who lives with her head in the clouds the majority of the time and a dad who lives with his buried in the sand, are phenomenal! The list is long for all the reasons they absolutely SUCK as parents. Phenomenal, my ass!

As an Australian nothing is more annoying then when Americans say “put a shrimp on the barbie” - we don’t call them shrimp we call them prawns.
Yesterday, I thought I heard Meg or Mike say the want a big house - what happen to their small house dream?
I think there was a rude awakening when they moved in, and still have a full house worth of unpacked boxes in some dingy, leaky garage down the street. The sheer number of boxes in there is amazing. I am sure she has to have an on-site “studio”, plus plenty of room to well and truly become the hoarder she wants to be.
The other day, she set her printer up in a men’s wardrobe stand from the 1800’s that she had JUST discussed getting fixed up properly, and showed how much damage it has. Then she sits a 20 pound printer on it’s spindly little legs, which will loosen and break from the printer shaking. But she HAD TO guys, there just isn’t room for anything else!
So yeah- I think maybe Mike put his foot down about the amount of shit she keeps buying, then refuses to get rid of, and how keeping the house small will NOT work.
At minimum, they need a full basement for storage, and space for the kids. Then they need, at minimum, 4-5 bedrooms, so the kids have space. Or, two much larger rooms, one for boys, one for girls, with their own bathrooms. Megan needs her space to be a hoarder- hopefully they build a 1 room building out back that has room for storing more border shit, painting furniture, and photographing it. Then of course, they need room to display her ever changing mind-fuck clutter bomb of dusty shit in the house, so people can go “Oh, Megan, you are just such an amazing artist... how fever did you think to display that dollar tree glass with the 18th century falling apart cabinet, and drape those ragged old quilts over the arm of that moth eaten sofa? Oh, it’s just so... amazing.” And then Megan can pat herself on the back, ask when Andrew moved out, why Esther the ever present babysitter is no longer around, and hey, why is Pyro Kid missing an eye?

So addressing the issue of medical treatment.
If you look on their family website, they actually talk about “insurance”. Rather than providing their family with actual medical coverage, they purchase in to a Mormon based co-op.
So most of you from outside of the US probably have heard that US medical coverage is an absolute for-profit shit show. We do not have universal healthcare. Almost none of our healthcare is price regulated. With the insurance my family has (we pay out $1600/month all year, then we have to pay 100% of medical charges up to $3500/year, and after that, our insurance covers 100% of all our medical charges until the year starts over- we have really good insurance- most people pay a LOT more for a lot less), we really do not have to worry about going to a doctor when it’s needed for whatever is needed. We put money into an account to cover our co-pays, so we don’t get over run by medical bills. It took a loooong time to be able to say “No, getting sick for a week won’t wipe us out financially.”
What Megan and Mike provide for their kids is the absolute bare minimum of health care coverage.
Because it is not an insurance program, any doctors they see will not discount services. For instance, it might be $180 for a basic office visit for a non-specialist. With insurance, my bill is discounted, so the bill I am responsible for is probably more like $25. It’s billed to me, I pay it, and we move on. Without insurance discounts, they would be responsible for $180.
The co-op they are in, is basically a shared pool of money. Everyone who belongs to it pays money into a pot. There were a few levels of what you can buy- the more you pay, the more help you get.
So let’s say they go to the doctor, get a check up, and a bill- they submit the bill to the health care “ministry”, and the ministry decides if it’s something they are responsible for covering. At that point, if it is something covered by their “plan”, it’s covered 100%.
However, they have a lot of restrictions. Pregnant out of wedlock? Zero coverage. Pregnant but not paying for the most expensive program? Upgrade or pay for most of your care.
Pre-existing conditions... that’s a big one for this group. So Pearl, Esther, Eve, and Jude all have pre-existing conditions- something they had before being covered by this group.
They have 1 way of looking at a pre-existing condition.
According to the website for the co-op, if you have ever experienced a symptom (ANY SYMPTOM!!) of something in the past, and it reoccurred, it’s a pre-existing condition that is active.
So active care means ongoing testing, ongoing treatments, new treatments, and basically 90% of the health care costs related to on-going treatment. They do NOT cover (or “share”) these costs, which means anything Pearl, Esther, Eve, and Jude need care for regarding their health conditions would not be covered. M& M would be required to pt for it all out of pocket. So an XRay to see how Pearl’s back is? $100-250. An MRI of the Thoracic spine? About $3500
That means they intentionally chose medical help that will not cover any of the ongoing needs the kids have from things like Down syndrome, back issues for the older girls, or the various issues Jude has.
This right here is exactly why those health care needs are NOT being met.
An MRI to see how Pearl’s spine is, with a visit to a neurological specialist to see what ongoing problems she might have, address the pain, or help her? That’s a cool $5000.
In Megan world, that’s like 3 weeks of thrift store hoarding.
Is there even really an option in her head?
It’s absolutely disgusting that none of the kids receive ongoing health care for the conditions they have. Megan and Mike were not surprised by these conditions. They specifically set out to adopt from China, understanding and knowing that all younger kids would have medical problems. They likely even signed paperwork agreeing to make sure these children received regular medical care.
This was not the cause of a car accident that caught them all by surprise. It wasn’t something she gave birth to. They PICKED kids with severe medical needs, and now completely, 100% IGNORE those medical needs.
It’s the most disgusting thing about them.
Here is the website that they use for co-op medical coverage. There are 3 levels of coverage, and supplemental help you can purchase to help with “ Catastrophic“ medical care (ie: your are diagnosed with something and medical care exceeds $125,000 limit you have for coverage, but only up to a certain amount)

I forgot to add that once Mattel gets winds of that ridiculous shirt they will sue the shit out of them, if they actually sell them. Mattel doesn't mess around when it comes to their Iconic Barbie.

But even if they don't have insurance Over the counter acid reflux medicine is less then $20 a month. I also wonder if eve doesn't have thyroid issues. This is also common in kids with DS. These parents are neglecting these kids medical needs in every area. I wish someone would call them out for that.

Most people would not give kids medications without knowing it’s needed. Sure, tylenol or Motrin, but antacids are a different matter and are not intended for kids to use without a doctor supervising it. Most OTC meds are not intended for kids under 12, unless they were marketed specifically for kids.jacobismom10 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 8:19 am But even if they don't have insurance Over the counter acid reflux medicine is less then $20 a month. You have mirrored my thoughts exactly. She's planning a kitchen and looking for floor coverings when the plans havent been passed and the house hasnt been built. Doesn't she realise those type of sinks were taken over by fitten cupboards for a reason to hide any crap ie bleach, washing up liquid, who wants that on show, oh I forget MeganITSMYOPINION wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 6:45 pm This woman has completely lost her shit. Ive posted here before about their dreadful table manners. Eve crawls all over the table, non of them know how to use cutlery. The food content is pathetic it wouldn't keep a mouse alive. As matriach of our house I always sit down last making sure the family are ok with everything. Not Megan she sods everyone else and starts first. Lacks any social graces.
Those children shouldn't be left to their own devices, why should Esther be left to cope with an arsonist, a disabled girl, a DS girl, and a little boy of 8. Sod Andrew and Peter. Megan thinking she was being Mother Theresa when she adopted 5 kids its their responsibility. Never mind theyre teenagers, they still get into trouble left alone, I did lol
Don;t start me off about their appearance. All that fecking hair. Feel sorry for the hairdresser because the Knorpps aren't a very good advert for her business. Their clothes are appalling, I get they never go anywhere besides thrifting and church but have some pride. I think they wear each others

We are fortunate in the UK to have our NHS. But to say its for free really isn't true. The money comes from our Income Tax for those in work. You pay more if you are a high earner. We never have to worry about medical care we all receive the same. You can top up with private insurance which means you will get to see a consultant much quicker. There is a payment for medicines but your exempt under 18 or over 65. or if you are on benefits, There are some treatments that the NHS won't pay for so people usually fund raise
Rather than waste that money on that thrifting crap they should take cover for those kids, its not fair. What a twisted pair they are

Thats so funny, I need cheering up. I'd love to know whats in those boxes. OMG Mike is a pathetic human being letting her carry on buying all that crap and the family needing a good hot meal, clothes that fit, a comfortable bed, and decent hair cuts. Shes so selfishNarcoelpsyMom wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 12:46 amBalticBallet wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 4:26 pm The reason Megan can’t find any pictures of stovetops sitting on old dressers is because it’s a massive fire hazard and no one (apart from Meg) would be stupid enough to do it.

I’m wondering how they have actually established Eve has reflux? I can’t imagine her being able to communicate that very well.NarcoelpsyMom wrote:Most people would not give kids medications without knowing it’s needed. I also wonder if eve doesn't have thyroid issues. This is also common in kids with DS. These parents are neglecting these kids medical needs in every area. I wish someone would call them out for that.

Apparently, 73 people bought this shirt priced at $22 USD.
