I think she will continue to edit vlogs leading up to when she went to be with Grammie. But this will bring in views for her so she won't just do a tribute video (which I could understand doing since she even has clips she could pull of grammie and of course pictures). I suggested she do something like that for Chris from old photos and what they had of him but she doesn't think of others. She will film her telling the kids imo, anything to bring her in money.

Maybe Chris didn't want Jess to post anything online? I wasn't watching when his dad passed, so, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. He seemed uncomfortable with the camera in his face during the painting video with Addie.

I genuinely hope she doesn't film telling the kids... but... considering the views she got when she shared the emotional painting with Addie, it wouldn't surprise me if she exploited the rest of their feelings.

Also, this is entirely different, but do any of you wonder if Lilia or any of the kids read here? Specifically Lilia, considering she has unmonitored internet access during school.

I don't think she had to post it online but why not make the video for him? I'm talking this was around the time she did montages for the kids birthday so a few pictures/video of his dad put together to music. She can upload to YouTube private or save on his computer so he would always have that. Instead it was "be happy, you choose to be happy" and sunshine and rainbows. She didn't let him grieve. The one thing that seemed to let him open up and feel close to his dad was paintball and that lasted a few months, even then she complained about it. Not only did he lose his dad but also his mom remarried and he took that hard, but instead of Jess being a wife and even keeping things private she would make comments about how if they got to 1 million he would share why him and his mom don't talk or what happened with his mom. Regardless of what his mom said and how they felt he was still grieving his dad and had that hurt of losing his mom emotionally on top of it. She just added salt to his wounds.

I don’t remember everything, but I do remember that he had to go back to his parent’s place to get stuff done or something like that I forgot..anyway Jess was like “do you really have to go???” and pouting.

Why doesn't she ask her husband? I feel horrible that she lost her grandmother, mine hadn't done well this year either.. but she obviously wasn't empathetic to his situation at all.

I was looking back through the videos from around that time and basically Addie was born, his father died about a week later, at some point he cut ties with his mom for moving on so quickly, and then when Addie was 3 months she had the aborted SIDS scare. Like imagine the stress of all of that and your wife is just like “choose happiness”

Sayings like the one on her shirt really get under my skin, it's just that whole toxic positivity garbage that she spouts, like no, you're a human, you are supposed to feel all the emotions and it's actually pretty unhealthy to not allow yourself to do so. I'm not even bagging on optimism, I think it's a very good quality to have, it's just when it becomes forced that I can't stand it. I just think it's really ignorant to say that people can choose to feel a certain way, that's totally disregarding people with mental illnesses that try hard and fail on the daily with regulating their emotional state.

Oh man, I didn't even think that was her way of trying to get views for an upcoming video. My first thought was if she can't mention it then she's not processing it at all. Which I wouldn't expect anyone to be because it's so recent! BUT no matter what I think of Jess, I wish she would take a break from all social media to properly process it and grieve and just be with her family. I understand it's her job but I think she can afford to take that time.

I think Roslyn did this with the kids, maybe Jess & Chris saw it and wanted to do it with them. Or the kids asked? Even with sports and after school activities this is something I try to make a priority so it can be done but since Jess/Chris don't seem to cook much I don't know how long it will last.

Wait, did she really say she hasn’t lost anyone close to her before? What about Chris’s dad??? Does she really not consider her in laws “close enough”. Her kids lost a grandparent with Chris’s dad. If I were Chris I would be so hurt that my parent didn’t qualify as “close enough”
