Re: Sam & Nia
I don't watch Sam or Nia, but both their pregnancy and their loss were both featured on my local news during the past two days. I was reading some articles were people are talking about how they faked the pregnancy and didn't expect it to go viral. My heart goes out to them both...

Ya, apparently he put in his 2-weeks last week and then told him he was done now because he needed to be with his family. He didn't even tell Nia until yesterday's vlog.
My husband would tell me before putting in his 2 weeks. Heck we would have a talk about it.

Re: Sam & Nia
I couldn't take it anymore. My local radio host posted about their miscarriage video again and I snapped.

Re: Sam & Nia
Balls! Their announcement video was only on two local radio stations I follow. No videos about the miscarriage. But I think when these pages share these videos they don't do it for you to get hooked and think they're an amazing family. They just share cause its popular and entertaining. And I bet very few of them look into the background of the viral sensations.oatmealcookie wrote:I couldn't take it anymore. Re: Sam & Nia
This is the only article I've read so far that I actually like because it seems they actually researched Sam and Nia http://www.dailydot.com/lifestyle/sam-n ... deo/?fb=dd

Re: Sam & Nia
Well Nia doesn't even have say in things that happen to her own body so I doubt they're gonna ''have a talk''. Sam thinks he's the second coming of Jesus so he does whatever he wants.foreversoulmates wrote:lynnd wrote:Did sam really quit his job?

Re: Sam & Nia
I really don't want it to be staged. There are a lot of women who really struggle with losing a baby, and I would like to think that they wouldn't lie to their children and go through the process of creating a pregnancy announcement just to get viewers. But it just all seems way too convenient for me.
They lost a lot of viewers and a sponsor with their homophobic ways. Then Sam just happens to quit his job BEFORE this all happens? It seems to me that he was expecting the video to get a lot of attention. Maybe not THIS MUCH attention, but I think he was definitely expecting to bring in some new viewers. Sam even said that he quit his job because his channel exploded. But it hadn't exploded yet. He was anticipating it. I don't know. I think the pregnancy video was definitely staged, but I really want to believe that the miscarriage was not.
Someone said that Sam just wants to be famous. I think that is definitely 100% true. Bryan and Missy were somewhat normal before their channel took off. Now they're just entitled, lazy douches. Sam and Nia are just another DailyBums waiting to happen.

In the end, we're all just dreams...

Re: Sam & Nia
Every time Sam and Nia make the news, I feel like that reporter who walked off set because he was tired of reporting on the Kardashians.
Re: Sam & Nia
You know, what a shitty thing to do to tell Nia he quit right in the middle of a public place. So of COURSE she can't actually make a fuss about it. You could tell she looked stressed about it too. But of course she is the ever loving submissive wife and can't actually say to her husband how fucking stupid and irresponsible he is.

Re: Sam & Nia
And especially when she's just lost a baby days before. If the miscarriage is true, you don't tell your grieving spouse that you just made a huge change to your household income and didn't even tell her beforehand. Just keep adding more to her plate, Sam. A person can only take so much, and she will snap one day if he doesn't figure out how to give and take.kayuhsee wrote:You know, what a shitty thing to do to tell Nia he quit right in the middle of a public place. Re: Sam & Nia
Something was extremely fishy about the pregnancy announcement and the miscarriage video. It looked so staged and set up. Sam could easily have got his hands on a positive pregnancy test from his work. Maybe because her period was 2 weeks late, they both assumed she was pregnant. So Sam decided to take a positive test from his work and stage the video. Then her period came so they were forced to say Nia miscarried. They obviously assumed she was pregnant but wanted to make a money making viral video.

Re: Sam & Nia
Yeah, I'm really skeptical about this whole taking pee from the toilet thing. Wouldn't having water mixed in there ruin the test??
I could see them maybe knowing they were pregnant for a bit and staging the announcement video... But you'd have to be a piece of work to pretend to have a miscarriage. That's despicable. I hope they didn't do that.

Re: Sam & Nia
That does sound possible. Plus Nia is always home. More than likely a co-worker could be pregnant as well and done the test for him. But it doesn't make sense how they didn't go to the doctor or say how far they were or idk it's all fishy!Jessi31 wrote:Something was extremely fishy about the pregnancy announcement and the miscarriage video. Re: Sam & Nia
Something seems really off about this family.
Facebook post from earlier today:
"If you guys would like to see our first TV interview, we'll be on Inside Edition today or tomorrow. This has been an extraordinary opportunity for us to get the word out regarding hurt during a miscarriage. We thank you guys so much for the help in making it possible."
I don't know, it just seems like these are people that love the attention. Now they'll go on their interview tour and something else out of the ordinary will happen to them next month.

Re: Sam & Nia
I have to say, I never watched any of their videos until the surprise pregnancy one popped up on my Facebook feed. My first reaction was "this is cute" and then I was like "wouldn't diluting the urine affect the test".. Even drinking water before testing can affect the result, that's why they say do it first thing in the morning. They also both seemed pretty obnoxious to me, good first impression right? Then I came here to see what you guys had to say and I saw the miscarriage video.. I honestly don't know if it's because I find them just naturally extremely annoying but I sense something super fishy about it all too. I also don't want to believe that anyone even them would make up having a miscarriage for views but the video just didn't seem right. I just thought it might be interesting to have an outsiders opinion on it...
