Kudos to this lady for voicing out her opinion in Elle's post. I hope she won't get eaten alive by the minions.

I find Elle's reply odd though. She's holding off the name reveal because some family haven't met her yet? When I had my babies we just announced it straight away even if some extended family members or even grandparents/aunts haven't visited yet. 1) “restricted” by her Tue/Thur schedule that she randomly changes whenever she wants???

2) Overworked post partum (when she planned a “First 24 hours with newborn!” video??)

3) not shared with family? WHY? They are family. Call them????? Does she have a phone? FaceTime, email?

4) working and this is her “job”? What part of her JOBBBB is treating her customers/viewers so poorly? Stealing from her charity fund? Lying regularly about mundane things (birth plans are necessary! Jk don’t have a birth plan have a birth preference! I’ve always been supportive of epidurals! This channel won’t be ALL about babies!)

I’m legit confused by her reply to this. Is this on Instagram or Facebook? I can’t with this crazy woman.

Saw it on Instagram when I checked to see if she replied to my comment. She didn't. She only replied to some selected ones and one other commenter that criticized her.

There is no way she hasn't shared the name with the family unless it's family they've purposely alienated. When my daughter is born, I probably won't tell all family members myself, but through other family members they will get the news within hours of her birth. That's generally how having family relationships works.

Glad I’m not alone in feeling like this

If I had more time I’d go back and watch Elle’s meltdown about csection/breech and other birth videos to find quotes where she directly talks down about epidurals.

But unfortunately I’m on a strict snark schedule and can only snark her videos on Tuesday and Thursday. It’s only a week post partum for her, so there’s lots of snark to come and I don’t want to burn myself out. I’m sure she understands.

I distinctly remember her stressing epidurals were not FOR HER. So - no - as several people are now posting she absolutely was giving off that judgmental vibe. Her words said she didn’t feel that way but everything else about her showed her true feelings. Hell, her whole ‘women for thousands of years have given birth without drugs’ dripped of ‘you’re a weakling who gave up for pain relief’. She used to be all about ‘normalizing “natural” birth’ NOW she’s all about ‘normalizing “positive” birth stories’? bullshit.

I NEVER ranked people’s births. Ever.

I found it weird she asks Dan if it’s ok to get the epidural.

Drawing out the name is stupid.

I had more but I forget it because I kept getting interrupted. Ha!

Wow, if she hasn’t told certain family members her baby’s name a fucking WEEK after she was born, then she is a bigger cow than I thought! What the fuck is she waiting for? And let’s be honest, what real family does she have? Let’s count:

1. Bumpa/his girlfriend
2. Her sister and brother in law in Halifax
3. Dan’s parents
4. Dan’s siblings and their families
5. Bumpa’s mother, in England

Who else is there? Nobody. She even said in the vlogs about her mom’s suicide that her mom’s family is awful and I don’t think she talks to them. I’m assuming everyone in the list knows. Is she withholding from friends for some reason? I doubt it.

Lies, all lies. She is dragging this out 1000% on purpose because they aren’t having more kids and this is her last chance to capitalize on this market.

I think it’s after the bathtub part. She’s laying in the bed and Dan is hovering over her.

The best part is that she put the words on the screen in giant ass font so nobody would miss the “funny” moment. She did this for all the “jokes” she made in this vlog.

I bet that wasn’t the only time she said it to him either. It’s disturbing that she would find that funny and not only include it in the vlog, but highlight it with size 72 font. If that were me watching the footage back, not only would it not be included, but I would apologize to my husband for saying that. Just because you’re in labour doesn’t give you the right to belittle anyone, let alone your husband.

When you mentioned 200k I had to have a look thinking that you were referring to views on the birth video, but no, that has 50k so far. It's subscribers.

Yeah she wishes she has 200k views on her birth vlog. It really could've done better if it was edited well and not dragged out in 2 videos. I think she was hovering around 190k subs since Jan so it only took almost 6 months.

It is interesting that she has 200k subscribers but her views per video indicate very little active engagement. I suspect her viral video and some of her 'collabs' got people to subscribe, but then once they realize the quality of her content they stop watching(but do not take the extra step of unsubscribing). I also think she prefers her comments being turned off; so if any new subscribers want to engage they will be quickly disappointed. She relies too heavily on pregnancy/birth/early motherhood for content...which is a problem for her channel unless she plans to procreate indefinitely. Otherwise, I think she has about 1-2 years of people watching Blankette for her first developmental milestones(aka Running School age).

Hopefully her birth story contains a true, heartfelt apology for judging other women and ranking births. Not making it sound as though' we all do it' and thus share blame, but take personal responsibility and own that SHE held these ridiculous standards and imposed them on herself and others. I am getting to the point where I do not even want to watch her content to give her any views--I do not want to help support someone like her.
