Wow. Just wow.
And the way he was reacting to the smell. I don't remember babies that small making super stinky poop. How is he going to react when she starts eating solids?

Yeah breastfed newborn poop does not stink at all it smells like buttered popcorn. And they plan to cloth diaper so he'd better be prepared for when she is eating solids and they have to spray out the poop. Or he'll probably make Kelsey do it all

As far as I understand it, it's only a hazard once baby is rolling over

I'd swaddled all of mine then my midwife told me off for it with number 4, said it was to do with over heating. But she had a bad startle reflex, if I didn't do it she'd constantly wake herself up lol.
Why on earth aren't they getting Kelsey's Mum or Missy to mind the baby while they get some sleep? Either that or take it in shifts sleeping. What's the point of both trying to sleep at the same time if the baby is so unsettled? Then neither of them get sleep. I am a first time Mother with a 6 week old and whenever someone is around, I use the opportunity to hand over the baby to get some sleep. Let's face it, people are coming to see the baby not me and are more than willing to hold him for a couple of hours so I can sleep!

I noticed that too and thought the same thing. Put down the camera and change your baby's diaper. Makes me wonder how long they left her in that car seat to sit in her "blow out" waiting for someone else to change her. I have more sympathy for Kelsey needing sleep and time to recover, but there's no reason Corbin should be waited on. He didn't just give birth. He's treating his mother-in-law like she's the nanny.
Wow. Just watched yesterday's video. These people complain about EVERYTHING. They wanted their baby here and now that she is all they do is complain. I couldn't believe Corbin ignored June's stinky diaper to go and vlog the new present. And then complaining about not having enough sleep. Ummm yeah genius it's called having a newborn, what did you think sleeping would be like.
I get the emotions and being overwhelmed when bringning baby home for the first time. But they came off as inconvenienced and annoyed in today's vlog. I remember acknowledging how tired I was, but being euphoric about this perfect little person we had made.
And that apartment looks so tiny and crowded. So messy and not functional. The mom (grandma) is all crouched down on the floor changing diapers and it looks like crap is everywhere. I don't want their situation in the slightest.

I know Corbin was more whiny of the two. Kelsey seemed to complain about things that are tough, trying to get the hang of nursing, breast tenderness, being overwhelmed by postpartum emotions. etc.

No the rubber and plastic bulbs are too unnatural. They will just let nature take its course.
Joking aside, I agree with you she sounds miserable. Newborns physically can't breath through their mouths so it's important for their nostrils to be clear. My second had a lot of fluid still in his lungs and sinuses because he wouldn't cry when first born. The cord was wrapped around his neck so his throat was kind of too sore to cry. The first couple of days I was a nervous wreck because he kept coughing up and choking on amniotic fluid and when he breathed he sounded like June. This didn't last more than a day though because I constantly sucked the fluid out of his nose. These two are probably too concerned with something unnatural and rubber in her nose.

That's probably true, you can find an article that says anything is bad though. If k&c are so desperate for sleep they should try swaddling before co-sleeping.

That's exactly what I meant. You can find articles that say just about anything is "bad".
Speaking of NoseFrida-type things, does anyone remember if they bought any baby first aid items - like a baby thermometer?? I don't know why they would be opposed to something like a BabyFrida.
Corbin wanting to be called "papa" is so freakin' pretentious!!
What gets me the most is this: if you don't know how to do something, fine. If you're too tired to remember how to do something, fine. That's what YouTube is for! They make a living posting videos on YouTube, you would think they would automatically use other videos as a resource to help with how to change diapers, swaddle, settle their baby, etc.
Missy is definitely spending a ton of money for them. Yes, a gift or two is fine, but Missy is literally doing their shopping for them and she's already spent enough on gifts/clothes/baby shower/gender reveal parrty - plus, I'm sure she's behind all the Amazon purchases. Corbin and Kelsey should feel embarrassed that they rely so much on Missy just to get by financially - I'm including their YT channel in that because they wouldn't have many subscribers without DBs.
I hope they get her tongue tie fixed. It sounded like they wanted to consult with the naturopathic doctor rather than correct it.
Both my girls were tongue tied, and clipping them early on was a life saver for breastfeeding. Not getting it fixed can lead to speech impediments and dental problems.
Snow White wrote:While changing June in the hospital, Corbin asks "can I wipe up from her back?" and missy responds "yeah yeah yeah"
OMG NO! I sure hope he wasn't wiping back to front! Because if he was June is going to be exposed to antibiotics a lot sooner than Kelsey wanted!!
Yea that was my first thought too. Missy is a boy mom, she prob doesn't realize-- I hope they got feedback on that one elsewhere.
But Missy is a woman! She should know from personal experience that we wipe front to back. I guess this explains why she always seems to have bladder infections...
Did Kelsey's mom already leave?? She wasn't in their vlog or Missy's. It's kind of sad they seem to have strained relationships with their parents.
The vlog went back to being super boring way faster than I expected...and now that Missy's also gone, it's going to be more whining and complaining and extreme clickbait titles.
