Not only are they boring, but they are getting DEPRESSING to watch. Christmas alone. Birthday alone. M&B didn't even come over for his birthday?? Or is he going to have another FAKE summer birthday again??!

Moving to SoCal certainly hasn't improved their vlogs - I think most of them are worse than in Portland.

They have absolutely nothing keeping them home, June isn't old enough to care about being home to play with new toys Christmas morning, why didn't they go to be with family? Why chose to spend Christmas alone?

Also, I think that over sized bathtub pool is dumb. If you want a hot tub get a hot tub.

Yikes, Kelsey's new haircut with the middle part makes it super obvious that she needs to color her hair to match this new part. She should have booked the color and cut at the same time. She is really not nearly as blonde as she would like to think. There's no way a colorist who knows what they're doing would let her walk out of the salon like that. Has she mentioned if she does balayage or foil highlights? I'm surprised the woman who cuts her hair told her that was "modern." You shouldn't be able to see a blunt line of mouse brown hair six inches from the root. You could really see it in the natural light when she's in the sandbox talking to the camera in today's video.

Are they seriously claiming that two stay-at-home parents can't figure out how to go to the bathroom with a baby? They're not the first parents to discover a playpen.

I get more creepy controlling vibes from Corbin when he tried to make Kelsey feel bad about reclaiming a red "Christmas" pillow for the couch after Corbin says he put away the Christmas decorations. Kelsey said it was comfortable and they don't have any other pillows for the couch, so she wanted it to stay out. He proceeds to pull out the camera and "catch" her in the act of walking back into the house with the pillow and tries to make a big deal out of it. "What are you doing out there? What are you doing? I just put those pillows away. You little...Oh my gosh." He think he's hilarious, but he is just so odd. I don't know how she puts up with that kind of stuff.

It continues to crack me up that these two have a "cooking show" of sorts, when they're both so lost in the kitchen. The pumpkin pie with the undercooked pie crust on top, the pumpkin bread with congealed coconut oil throughout, trying to peel potatoes AFTER boiling them, etc. And now the turtle candies. Everyone makes mistakes in the kitchen, but it's funny that they have the audacity to present themselves as anything but very naive novices. And whenever they make a mistake, they just throw their arms up in frustration, like with the turtles, or refuse to even acknowledge the issue, like with the pumpkin bread. How about fixing the mistake and learning from it so you know better next time? Their attitude goes a long way towards explaining why they never seem to learn anything. And many of these are recipes that they're putting out there for other people to make! So lazy and unprofessional.

Why did he go on and on about playpens being controversial and act guilty that they bought one??? Not having a playpen seems like one of their random "hipster" parenting ideas. Don't 99% of parents have a Pack 'N Play or the like? That's essentially a playpen - just renamed.

I mean ok Corbin is one of the most humourless people I've ever seen but I actually think their cooking thing could totally work if it was about them learning to cook for their baby's sake after putting it off as adults. If they're honest about being totally bad and let themselves be adults and swear when they fuck things up and they can laugh about it...it could actually be really funny. And when they actually make a recipe well and don't ruin it them overcelebrating would probably be pretty endearing. Neither of them seem to be able to follow even basic recipes so I'm guessing they could get a lot of mileage out of the 'Corbin and Kelsey try their best' schtick. Man I should start a youtube channel because my husband is a total garbage cook (in his own words) and it's not for lack of trying on his part. He could have been getting that sweet youtube cash all this time. Sigh.

They are too boring to run ONE YT channel, so now Kelsey's going to start her own "lifestyle" channel??? UGH! Cooking videos? They've already proven they can't cook. June updates? Don't they cover enough of that on their main channel? What exactly does Kelsey even do?

Obviously it's to boost overall views, income and get more brand deals, but Kelsey isn't someone I'd want to watch beyond STW.

I could see Kelsey's channel succeeding if she actually does something original and unique to herself rather than trying to be super generic. Instead of the anticipated "get ready with me," "my morning routine," "what I eat in a day," "how I pamper myself as a mommy," etc., videos, she should gear it toward art. Maybe she isn't that into art anymore, but she could at least fake it for the sake of appearing to have hobbies of her own. She could do DIY videos on things like making art for the house and framing it, making her own gifts/gift wrap/etc. for holidays and birthdays, making a dollhouse and dolls for June, or even upcycling and sewing new clothes out of old ones. It would take time, but if she produced one quality video a week it could generate income, and also maybe she could sell things from her Etsy shop that tie into the videos. I think she COULD do it if she tried, but instead will probably do lookbook videos and attempt to pretend she's a beauty guru, which is so overdone on YouTube.

As for art, she's TOTALLY given that up - or maybe it was a pretend hobby. She's bought/been given supplies AND that expensive iPadPro, but what has she done? Nothing comes to mind - except that picture frame with a few sticks in it. She didn't even get all that creative for the holidays - they bought everything at Target!

Kelsey's problem is she is just not interesting and doesn't really do anything interesting. Maybe the new channel is a "hint" she's going to plan for baby #2 in 2018???

Every other family vlogging channel that they try to emulate has a "mommy channel" on the side, so I think they're just doing it because Missy and Bryan told them it would be good for business. But they like to use those types of sit-down videos on their channel as stand-ins for actual vlogs when they don't feel like filming and editing a vlog.

Kelsey and Corbin are those people who pretend to have hobbies that they're really enthusiastic about. Traveling, hiking, running, outdoor activities, cooking, food, art, etc. They like to label themselves as foodies, but they don't know the basics about cooking or baking. And they moved to a place where their dining-out options consist of Longhorn Steakhouse. They keep saying they're training for a marathon or a half marathon, but never really commit. They complained the whole van trip and stayed in more Walmart parking lots than parks. Their hikes seem to be limited to once every couple of months, even through they have all the time in the world. Kelsey always seems to be getting supplies to work on her art, and claimed she would be selling it during their van trip, but the only art I've seen is their "Draw our Relationship" video, which wasn't impressive.

In their first "Wander Family" vlog, Kelsey and Corbin join a rock gym and have June there and even put her against the rock wall pretending she's climbing it. I don't know any gym that would allow kids in the actual gym. There are often baby-sitting/daycare rooms at the gym, but it seems unsafe that any gym would allow a child right in the middle of all the equipment and people working out. I wouldn't be surprised if Kelsey and Corbin snuck her in for the footage.

Someone clearly told them that they would get more searches/clicks/views if they put "family" in their channel name, but they just look like amateurs who don't know what they're doing with two names. "The Wander Family- Steps to Wander" looks and sounds ridiculous.

I thought that was really weird! They were both in town and weren't doing anything too exciting and they were "BFFs." You'd think they'd even get together for dinner or something. From the STW vlogs, it seems like they haven't seen M&B since before Christmas. And the rock gym was something Kelsey and Missy did together.

I get the distinct impression that Corbin's mom bought them a new fridge while she was in town. They showed his family looking at refrigerators while they were at Sears to buy him a grill. It takes several weeks to get the delivery, if I remember correctly. The timeline would match-up if they did indeed place the order while his mom was in town. Corbin let's his parents participate in their lives if Corbin is getting something of monetary value out of it. Vacations, appliances, baby gear, etc. There's no guarantee this new fridge will be a good fit in their next place. This rental comes across as a money pit.

Of course they're already planning to leave California. These two are so flakey. I guess working for Bryan went south faster than even we predicted. Literally a few months ago they were excited to move to CA to be closer to family and friends. Now they're already planning their exit.

Buying a fixer upper for YouTube content is one of the dumber ideas these two have come up with. A house is a huge financial purchase, especially for these two who are barely successful on YouTube. It's not like they have a ton of disposable income to fall back on when they mess up this house, especially if he's already left his job as Bryan's assistant. They're willfully ignorant, so it will at least be entertaining watching them fail spectacularly at renovations if they go that route. Their sloppy van "renovation" (which broke down constantly) is nothing like renovating an actual house. I can't believe they're comparing the two.

By the way, buying a house is not a year-long process if you have the money in the bank and you don't need to sell your existing house first. We literally spent maybe two weeks touring places with a realtor, made an offer, closed a month later, did some light renovations (floors & paint), and moved in a month after closing.

When was the last time we saw them together?? It's sad really, Kelsey and Missy have been friends FOREVER, like REAL friends, one of the only REAL friends she has/had. Working for the Lannings must really be fucking hell. They have managed to run off every friend they have after they hired them. I would love to be a fly on the wall in that house sometimes.

Interesting! So Corbin really did only get a grill out of his parent's long-awaited visit. I agree, the fact that they seemingly can't make any large purchase on their own is telling. Sure, maybe they're just saving money and using second-hand appliances because they know they won't be in this house much longer. But when have they ever revealed themselves to be frugal or wise with money? They decided to get pregnant while living out of a van with no prenatal insurance coverage. If I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, I would say it's wise to use Missy's old appliances at this point if she's offering. But knowing them, it's likely they just can't afford it on their own.

LOLOLOL... but didn't Missy and Bryan get a new fridge bc the old one was "broken" and making a "funny noise"? That was the justification for the $10k viking fridge. I hope they at least got it repaired before they handed it off, but seems like to me that there was nothing wrong at all with that fridge, except for the fact that it didn't cost a small fortune. It's so funny to see them get caught in lies.
