She claims she named her Cartia bc she supposedly has Dyslexia so she got the letters mixed up. Ok. I'll buy it.irisflower wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 4:01 pmIs it, though? Re: Allie Brooke
It is. If you type Cartia name meaning, or Cartia name. It means unconditional love in Latin. It wouldn’t come up if you just typed Cartia because it’s not a very common name. The story Allie has behind her name is stupid though.irisflower wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 4:01 pmIs it, though? I never heard of it before and was curious to find out if she had made it up. I did type it in and nothing came up that remotely said it was Latin and meant love. I tried different ways.Frootloops3 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 12:34 pmIt is. Did you try the word meaning after the word name? If you did, then I don’t know what to do.Deesker wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 1:08 pmI did type it in and nothing came up that remotely said it was Latin and meant love. Re: Allie Brooke
Yes, I did type "Cartia name meaning" but the "unconditional love" thing comes up only on one website and was submitted by a user. More reputable name sites like Nameberry, Think Baby Names, Behind the Name, etc don't list Cartia as a name. On the same website where it says it means unconditional love, it also says it means "unconditional move" (probably a misspelling) and "cat". I don't think these user submissions are reliable sources.Frootloops3 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 12:34 pmIt is. If you type Cartia name meaning, or Cartia name. It means unconditional love in Latin. Here's the link: https://www.names.org/n/cartia/about
The correct word for unconditional love in Latin is "caritas". Allie read it wrong but for some reason she stuck to her mistake.
Re: Allie Brooke
Yes! That's correct but her explanation was she has Dyslexia and misspelled it.irisflower wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 2:31 pmYes, I did type "Cartia name meaning" but the "unconditional love" thing comes up only on one website and was submitted by a user. Re: Allie Brooke
I haven't been following her recently but I just saw the video pop up to her daughter with the title about her "father in heaven". Did the dad pass away?

She's talking about Jesus. She's on the Jesus train at this time and btw, it says "Single mom." She co-parents with Cartia's dad. She's delusional.

Re: Allie Brooke
She must have read this. She changed the word g to "our father in heaven" before it said "your father in heaven". Blah. No wonder comments are off.Deesker wrote:She's talking about Jesus. Re: Allie Brooke
As much as I can’t stand her, even though she co parents with her Dad, she’s still a single mom
Re: Allie Brooke
Actually, no she's not. A single mom is someone who has no other person helping raise their child but themselves. I say this about anyone. That child is co-parented so she is not a single mother at all.MorganH87 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 12:48 pm

Re: Allie Brooke
I asked my mom about it, and she said that a single mom is someone who lets say, has two kids, and one kid’s sick at home, and the other one is at school, but she has to pick up the one at school, and doesn’t have anyone to help her look after the one who’s sick.Deesker wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 1:12 pmActually, no she's not. She also said that when done correctly, co-parenting does not really qualify as single parenting. But if the co-parenting agreement is bad, there can be one parent who has the heavier load, which would then make them a single parent.

Re: Allie Brooke
Well said and that is NOT the case with Cartia.Frootloops3 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 2:25 pmI asked my mom about it, and she said that a single mom is someone who lets say, has two kids, and one kid’s sick at home, and the other one is at school, but she has to pick up the one at school, and doesn’t have anyone to help her look after the one who’s sick.

Re: Allie Brooke
Thank you, and yes I agree. These teen moms on YouTube love to pull out the single mom card, when some of them *cough* Maddie *cough* have so many family members that help look after their child.Deesker wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 3:33 pmWell said and that is NOT the case with Cartia.Frootloops3 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 2:25 pmI asked my mom about it, and she said that a single mom is someone who lets say, has two kids, and one kid’s sick at home, and the other one is at school, but she has to pick up the one at school, and doesn’t have anyone to help her look after the one who’s sick.

We can agree to disagree. I’m not a single mom, im married but I have several friends that are not with their child’s mom/dad and they refer to themselves as a single mom/dad. I guess it’s all on how you feel about it, it’s ok to have different opinions
Re: Allie Brooke
Maddie's baby should be taken from her. Maddie's mother is a total train wreck.Frootloops3 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 3:38 pmThank you, and yes I agree. Re: Allie Brooke
I agree with you, however, the issue with Allie is, she never mentions co-parenting with the exception of the Disneyland video so everyone "assumes" she's all by herself and doing this alone.MorganH87 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 5:53 pm

I just watched Allie’s newest video, and it was cute, but I don’t know why it made her fans bawl their eyes out...

Re: Allie Brooke
Why oh why did she make a voice over with that trembling crying tone? Is she involved in some kind of cult? I get it that people are religious and find comfort in Jesus but this is a bit too much to share in public. Why is she always so broken and crying for the most stupid things? She has a lot of help. Her baby daddy is super involved and she is ungrateful.
Also she has a ton of lip fillers done. But whatever pulls her out of her "misery"

Re: Allie Brooke
I know what you mean. The crying voice Allie uses sounds so fake. I also think putting single mom in the title was stupid because she has help, like you said.nebi wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 2:14 pm Why oh why did she make a voice over with that trembling crying tone? I’m still baffled by how many views and subscribers she has/gets on her videos for barely posting.
