I actually kind of hoped she was pregnant just because they aren't married yet and it's such a ginormous sin to have premarital sex. I know Sarah and Johnny had Branson while still in high school but they almost use that so say how much holier they are now because the family was sealed in the temple and "blessed is the man who fills his quiver with children"rulatows000 wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 1:12 pm Branson posted a video on his channel with a thumbnail that had a picture of an ultrasound and a pregnancy test, with the title, "HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT"... turns out they were just announcing that they have a couples channel. That's seriously messed up, though, and straight up deceptive. I could see maybe using that title and a picture of them holding her stomach or something to kind of tease but leave it open to be something else, but he really has to include an ultrasound and pregnancy test to make people think Mara's pregnant? That's going too far in my opinion. Also, what a jackass. Was Mara's family even informed of what he was doing? I could see him not telling anyone anything and thinking it's funny to shock them like that. Second, I would be pissed if my boyfriend was trying to flat out lie and make people think I was pregnant just so he could get views. There's always going to be people who don't watch the video and are probably going to town judging Mara for being 'pregnant'. He really needs to get a life. Get a real job instead of being a fool on Youtube and straight up being deceptive and manipulative to get popular.

Man, Johnny is so full of himself. He was such a jerk to that lady who door dinged him. Seriously, he starts out with, "How do you not notice you door-dinged my car?!" Why not say something like, "Excuse me ma'am, I noticed a dent on my car. It's not a big deal, we're not worried about the car, just want to know what happened?" Yeah, she shouldn't have walked away when it happened, but you just never know what kind of day a person has had. Maybe that lady had a really bad day and was so distracted she didn't even notice she did it or maybe she panicked and just chose to run. Sometimes stuff just happens and people make mistakes, it's not the end of the world. Show some kindness.
Also, it is NOT ok to film your seven year old son crouched down in the bathroom in agony. Poor Az, he was so sick he couldn't walk and instead of Johnny helping him, he goes to get his camera and film him. Then he made Az run crouched over and in pain to his bedroom instead of putting down the camera and carrying him to bed. Then he mentioned how Az threw up afterwards and he said it's because he should have just left him lying there. No, it's because you should have carefully carried him into his bed so he wouldn't get sick standing up and running on his own. Put down the damn camera and help your little boy. Maybe Johnny should stop failing in all his responsibilities as a parent and husband before he starts preaching to other people about their responsibilities.

Their vlog yesterday, was kinda sweet. I know they are a weird family, and they do some very odd things... but, I thought it was sweet how Johnny asked Allie And Daniell to Prom. The scavenger hunt thing. I know it's really him controlling his girls and who they date, but... if you don't think about that part, it's kinda sweet.

Yay, Allie, applying for a job and wanting to move into her own place! I really liked how she said she wants to learn how to go out and take care of herself in the real world, not rely on her parents to pay for her or give her a place to live. I hope she gets the job and I'm really happy that she's taking initiative to care for herself and become an adult.
However, I disliked how Johnny is trying compare her getting a real job and moving out to Branson going on a mission. I'm sure his parents paid for his mission and its not like a job where he's taking care of himself or living alone. He was probably instructed and supervised on everything he did and it was something he probably felt he had to do, not something he took initiative to do. Plus, he moved back in with them and has made no effort to find a real job or care for himself since. Seems like they're just trying really hard to act like Branson's an adult and has been on his own to justify him still living with them and living off of Youtube, instead of admitting that he really should be getting a job and looking for his own place. Glad that Allie's actually taking initiative and wants a real career.

A mission is _not_ "living on your own". They have a roommate/partner that they can't get away from except for showers and going to the bathroom. And their days are scheduled very carefully. They're allowed minimal free time.
And I can't believe they are encouraging Branson to get married when he has no job and no visible means of support.
They're ridiculous people.

Re: Tannerites/YAWI: Failing our kids as they fail homeschool | Part 2
I was doing a little digging online and found what appears to be Branson and Mara's wedding registry. It seemed legit and if the date on there is correct, then their wedding date is September 18th, 2020. I don't think they've announced it on their channel yet, so was interesting to see the date posted there. Why are they are in such a rush to get married when neither of them seems to have a job or any real plans for sustaining themselves in the future? If their wedding is in three short months, I'm guessing they are planning on living with his parents even after they're married. Unless they suddenly come up with their own place and get all moved in weeks before their wedding, but that's a really short time to get all their stuff figured out.
I remember Sarah saying in one of the vlogs, when Branson was leaving to visit Mara, that she can't wait till Branson gets married so he'll never have to leave them. He tried to refute it and was like, um, actually I'll probably have to go back to our place every night, or something like that. It was an awkward moment, though, and I just thought it was weird that Sarah would say that, unless they're totally planning on having Branson and Mara living with them after marriage.

I don't see how they could do anything but live with Sarah and Johnny. They neither one have jobs or apparently any plans to get one or any ambitions or dreams or any desire to do anything bug get married and have kid evidently. I guess the parents must be paying for the wedding too. There is just something about the whole thin that rubs me the wrong way. They posted something on their Instagram about their wedding coming up soon and asking if people could guess when and I so wanted to comment and tell them they should probably experience a little real life before getting married and maybe get jobs and somewhere to live. It just makes me sad that they just have zero goals for their kids except get married and pop out kids. I personally don't think Branson is even in love with Mara, he just wants to get his parents off his back. I just feel like Sarah and Johnny are really toxic people and they are setting their kids up for complete failure if they ever let them leave their home....rulatows000 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 5:57 pm I was doing a little digging online and found what appears to be Branson and Mara's wedding registry. So they bought a second house in their current city. Easy to look up the details online, since it's all public record. Once again, I'm sure either Johnny or Sarah (maybe both) come from a family that has some wealth. It may also be part of the reason Mara's family is okay with her marrying Branson despite his apparent lack of ambition and job experience.
I can't see any other way you have all the expenses of seven kids with a not-college-educated dad and a mostly stay at home mom that is able to afford their current $700,000+ house and get approved for a mortgage on it, let alone get approved on the mortgage for this second one. They didn't say who/what it was for, but I'm guessing Branson and Mara?

I know Sarah’s Dad is a doctor but I remember when their vlogs first started, they didn’t even have a working heater.ctx2002 wrote:So they bought a second house in their current city. Re: Tannerites/YAWI: Failing our kids as they fail homeschool | Part 2
Even Allie has more ambition than Branson has... sure, it's to be a Disneyland Princess... but, hey.. that's something! And it gets her out of that house, away from her parents. I honestly hope she succeeds in it. I really hope she gets the job she's applying for (or got it, since they film and post later). Gets herself a nice apartment with a friend or 2.. and realizes she doesn't need to live by her parents rulings. She'll not have to turn in her phone by 9pm. Y'all don't even know how much I want this to work out for Allie, and for her to grow a backbone against her parents! haha! After Johnny comparing her getting a job, to Branson going on a mission... it's like, no matter what the girls do, they will always be overshadowed by their brother, because he's a "man", and that's BS. I think over the years, Allie has grown a lot, sure she still has her childish ways, but.. I think everyone should have a childishness in them they never lose. Maybe that's just me who thinks that, but.. eh, oh well.. I am one of a few who thinks that then lol.GGF1987 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 17, 2020 3:53 amI don't see how they could do anything but live with Sarah and Johnny. Also, if Allie gets her own place.. the kids will have a place to escape now and again, especially Daniell, who seems to really need to get away from the iron fist of her controlling father. And if they bought Branson and Mara a house, then they had better be doing the same thing for all their children, when they get married. Even if it's something that Branson and Mara are going to be paying them back for... it's only right to do the same for all the kids, seeing as they are the "stars" of Yawi.

Re: Tannerites/YAWI: Failing our kids as they fail homeschool | Part 2
So they bought a second house. I agree with others on here that one of the possibilities is the house is for Branson and Mara. I don't know what else they would need a second house for otherwise, unless they plan on renting it out. It would also explain why Branson and Mara don't seem worried about getting jobs or finding a place to live when they're getting married in three months. As the poster above said, I hope if they do buy Branson a house that they do the same for all the children. It seems unlikely, though. Branson is a boy, went on a mission, does Youtube, and is getting married young. None of those things make him exceptional in any way, but apparently they do in his parents' eyes. Unless Allie or Danielle get married super young and want to be stay at home moms and family vloggers, I highly doubt Johnny will buy a house for them. It's all about control and rewarding his children for doing what he wants them to. They wanted Branson to find a wife as soon as he got back from his mission, so he'll have everything handed to him. If Allie and Danielle want actual careers, though, I could see him not supporting them at all. Just the way he was talking about Allie applying for a job and almost not wanting her to get it, shows he doesn't want his kids to have actual careers or success in the real world. They want their kids to marry young, have a bunch of kids, do Youtube, and stay within their parents' control. If they do anything besides that, their parents probably won't give them one cent.

Hopefully out flatting together, away from their parents and around some more normal people!

Allie started her job. In today's vlog, she was going in for her second day! And because of her mom needing to borrow her car, she might have been late. I hope she wasn't. that's not fair of her parents to cause her to be late to work, especially on her second day. If you need your oil changed on your car, then you should have figured out another way to get around... or driven Allie to work earlier!

Her parents just don't care about punctuality do they? And it doesn't fall back on them, it falls back on Allie. UGH! I really hope she can get out of that house soon. I don't get why they couldn't have dropped the car off and taken a loaner car, like everyone else does... or waited 30 minutes for the oil to be changed. Selfish parents if you ask me.Lolislol26 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 5:32 pmThisIsMeCeej wrote:Allie started her job. In today's vlog, she was going in for her second day! I have never once left my car while getting an oil change, tire change, etc. I just wait there, I’m not sure why they constantly have several errands to do and why it takes Johnny and Sarah to do all of them.
