I refuse to watch. If she was coming out of sedation, she was unable to consent. We tell people not to sign legal documents within 24 hours of receiving sedation. I hate these videos. She may have been acting, but even if she was, the drugs were still in her system and she was unable to make decisions.
But consent never bothers Branden.

They said in the Instagram she did ok it. Everyone reacts differently, I got my wisdom teeth out going into grade 10 and was so sick from knocked out and cried as I kept throwing up . To the other person who wondered if she was acting, no you can see in her eyes the effects of the laughing gas. I wouldn't want to be filmed but I am sure they talked to Madi on how much she wanted showed. She is a smart kid, so different than her dad and siblings.

They did say she reviewed the footage before the the video was posted so I am sure they asked her today if it was ok they may care about views but I am sure if she said NO they wouldn't show it. They are completely horrible people, not amazing people but they wouldn't show anything if Madi said no or was uncomfortable

I'm not even watching it. Even if she gave her permission, it still feels so exploitative. Was she really gonna say no? Unless it's your channel and you want to put it up for your own financial gain (i.e. Markiplier or some other grown adult who has posted their wisdom teeth removal), you're exploiting someone else for free or even maybe on a bribe- "we'll give you gas money Maddie". It's the same thing every time they film one of their kids sick at the doctor. But they can't leave it out of the channel, otherwise the rad factor would go down.

I've only been lurking on here, but just wanted to point out how much better Holland's videos are edited than TIHWB. I can't sit through more than a couple minutes usually. But Holland's videos are much more enjoyable, the music and editing is great.

I am also not watching Madi's wisdom teeth removal. I had a terrible experience post-sedation and just felt awful and didn't want anyone near me. My family thought it would be funny to take videos and pictures and it really left a bad mark with me. I felt so shitty and it was all 'Haha you're gonna say or do funny things!' They didn't listen until I started having a break down and had to scream to be left alone. And this was with no intention of posting or sharing the videos for monetary gain.

Obviously experiences aren't universal, but I can't find the entertainment value in getting Wisdom teeth removed or generally anything involving medical surgery and anaesthesia. You can not consent while in that state and I'm sure Madi probably felt pressured to 'put on a show' since Wisdom teeth removal is something youtube historically has trended well (David after the dentist).

There is no way Branden contained his excitement and hope that Madi would want to be filmed and it would help him get more views or maybe event trend. He's probably been planning this video, and subsequent 'recovery' videos, for awhile. There is an illusion of choice, but no real one. Of course Madi is going to say yes when he asks if he can film and share this content. Maybe Madi did think whatever was in the video was entertaining, but it makes me feel sick knowing she probably felt pressured from before the surgery through recovery to 'put on a show'.

I thought that was precious. I liked Branden in this one, he's great when he quiets down and is a Dad. He was worried. She really bammed her face poor thing, but recovered well by shopping. Way to go kid! lol.

It actually pissed me off to no end they didn't take her to the Emergency Room. I get not wanting to be around other people right now due to covid, but she could seriously have been hurt and then they just let her run around in the evening, so disgusting. I don't care if she's feeling better she needs to plant her butt down and take it easy. People have died the following day after hitting their head...this was neglectful
