If she can be a SAHM cool, more power to her, but why can't she keep her job and her, Bryan, and Ollie get their own house? She should work until they are able to have there own place... It's seemed like she had an easy job from what she told us. How can she be a stay at home mom when she lives with her parents. Idk I'd be trying to get out as soon as possible if I had a baby on the way..

I don't think their thinking of the future very well. Once youtube is gone they won't have the income for Missy to be a stay at home mom and she may not be able to find a job as good as she had. Their personalities both annoy me at times. I think it will be a big adjustment for them after Oliver is born.

I agree, I just don't understand how they could think it's a good idea to let Missy be a stay at home mom while she lives at home. There is absolutely nothing stopping her except laziness. Yes I understand her wanting to spend every precious moment with her baby and that's understandable, but so do other moms. Why can't she work and save up some money for a house or a college fund or just incase money. Any money she would earn would directly benefit them. Plus they have someone to watch Ollie once he's born, that isn't an issue, her mom watches her cousins kids, I'm sure she'd be ecstatic to watch her first born grand child. I just think she's acting immaturely and being lazy. There is no way they thought things through past the first 3 years.

Most definitely, they're thinking of now and maybe 1 year later. I believe they're under the impression they're going to be like the shaytards.

I just realized that Missy is the only who had insurance through work. I wonder if Oliver is going to have state insurance. I would think with Brian's job and youtube they wouldn't qualify.

They share a home with her parents so that they all (parents included) could afford to live in California, They addressed it in a Q&A I believe. They have a very Family atmosphere in her home, I dont think it will be like some other moms who live with their parents in regards to dumping children, I dont think she will be pawning Ollie off on her parents all the time. And its not like he was an accident, he was planned and her whole family knew about it.

There is nothing wrong with her wanting, and being a stay at home mom. She's suffered 2 loss's and deserves all the time in the world to focus on Oliver once he's born. It's really easy to judge, but we just don't know the whole story. Her boss may have offered her a job when she's ready to return to work, she may only want to be a sahm for a year or two. If she and Brian,as well as the family are all fine and comfortable living together, I don't really see what the problem is.Take it from someone who has also lost a child, Missy is going to need her family for support.

I completely agree. Their living situation may not be what the rest of us would be happy doing but it seems to work well for them and their family. Plus we don't know their long term plans, they have probably thought about all of this. How they will get their own house and all of that in the future.
I don't see a problem with missy being a stay at home mum, they work hard on their YouTube channels and if it brings them in an income so missy can stay home with Oliver than I think that's fantastic. I would much prefer to watch their videos and give them money in a way than I would to watch say Tayler's and give her money. Their videos are good quality and entertaining.

Living at home with your parents after having children is the LAZY way out. Short of Missy and her husband suffering from a terminal illness, there is no excuse. It's pathetic and people have no shame anymore. When I first married my husband we lived in a 2 bedroom apartment w/ our son, it's what we could afford and things were still tight. Around a year later we had bought our first home. Yeah, we made a lot of sacrifices but a certain pride comes with it. It's the way it should be. I was also a SAHM the whole time.

I agree. I find is irresponsible for people to plan to have a baby while they continue to live under their parents roof. If you are grown up enough to get married then divorced then plan a baby you should be adult enough to have your own place even if it's in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment if that is all you can afford. Raising a child while living with your parents is not a good role model for your child as is. There comes a time in life that you need to leave the nest and start your own journey as an adult. I worked my butt off until we were financially able for me to be a SAHM. Sure I hated sending my child to daycare BUT that was the responsible thing to do while holding down a full time job, finishing my degree and buying our own home. I too have lost a baby but that is no excuse to be lazy with the next baby.

It is crazy expensive to rent in California. I don't see the big deal on sharing a home with people you love, so you can live in the state you want.

I'm sure not ALL of California is super high rent. If it is, maybe that shouldn't be the state you live in if you can never afford your own place. It's called BEING AN ADULT and doing what you have to do. And I agree, it's setting a bad example for your children. An example of mooching and taking advantage of others.

Ive also had a 2nd trimester loss, I do not think this makes me entitled to anything.

Instead of them going out to eat all the time they could save for a nice little apartment. JMO

I live in Cali and I know where they live, it's a lot cheaper where they live than where I do. People are always moving out that way because it's cheap! But it's also further away from the coast.

How much does an apt cost each month there?

I actually think living with your parents if you can and saving for a nice place is actually smart...I wish my husband and I could have done that when we first started out because all our savings went to the apartment...my mom is crazy though and I didn't want to deal with it so we didn't. But hey if your family is good and lets you why not do it for a while?

I will say, though, they should never have tried to conceive while there, though. Now that is irresponsible. Especially since all they have is that one room.

What part of Florida are you in? I live in Florida and the part I'm in I can't find anything for a price like that... You must be up North.
