Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 3
We did/do cloth for the cost savings reason. I have never spent more then $8 a diaper. Sure they sell $20+ diapers but I refuse to buy those because the cheaper one's work just as well and have lasted through 2 kids in diapers.
Also I only do laundry every other day and my water bill went up $2 a month. No other bills went up, and I dry my diapers outside or inside next to a window. Seeing as I spent about $340 on 40 diapers, and they have lasted through 2 kids, I think cloth CAN be very cost saving. I had a drying rack gifted to me (free for me), and I did buy 2 small wet bags ($5 each) and 1 large hanging wet bag ($9). Majority of the time I use a bucket with a lid ($3). So in reality once you do invest in cloth it's well worth the price. I'm not saying cloth is for everyone, but it's not nearly as expensive or time consuming as people think.
Not only are they cost saving, but they are super cute and never once have I complained about an extra load of diapers. As crazy as it sounds I'd rather do diaper laundry then clothing laundry. Oh and TheEnd is correct. Every package of disposable diapers tells you to remove feces from the diaper before disposing of the diaper. It's actually illegal to throw poop away in the trash

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 3
I wanted to cloth diaper with my first but let everyone scare me away from it with their horror stories. Finally with my second I decided to just go for it. I found sunbaby diapers...24 for 60 bucks. That is all you need for only 60. I ended up enjoying cloth diapering more than disposables. We even travel with cloth diapers and showed family how to use them...no big deal. The water cost isn't bad at all and we have definitely saved so much money especially since my daughter is a bathroom machine. We didn't do it for the cost though...to me the chemicals in diapers made me decide to do it especially since my son had a chemical burn once from babies r us diapers. I even switched to cloth pads because of it.

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 3
Not to mention you can sell your cloth diapers for almost as much as you paid or even more. Retired sunbaby diapers go for 9-10 bucks a pop! And you buy them for 5!

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 3
She has no life and is getting by watching others and their families..sadly this is becoming very common since youtube families popped up
it is also very dangerous/creepy since these people really get invested in these families and often think they are part of the family ..they think they know these people and care for them
sad world

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 3
I cloth diaper, as well! We do save and laundry is not bad at all..neither is laundry. I love cloth diapering and they are super cute on my princess! Missy just complains about everything, which is totally annoying. Yes, they were gifted many of their cloth diapers, which helped her create a nice little stash for Ollie…she didn't have to pay much for her diapers. Also, there are many less expensive brands that they can purchase, but it seems as if they want the "popular brand" (BumGenius at Baby BuyBuy or Babies R Us) which is so lame to me. Missy wants to be MamaNatural and other popular YouTube moms so bad that she looks stupid...

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 3
hmm so interesting! thanks for sharing, guys!
i think it's all very fascinating, not sure why haha.
also this might be a stupid question but are there cloth wipes you use with cloth diapering?
and about their p.o. box, i noticed someone who bought their shirt ( ), the address was their p.o. box. so do you think they actually just kept it open but were getting so much shit for getting sent so much stuff that they just said that?
and got that girl is creepy. reminds me of that one other weird ass girl (whenthekidsarenapping or some stupid thing that was obviously a knockoff of the shaytards) that went up to missy's mom and then was at the color run. girl is so strange.
all their minions are creepy.

i don't know why but i just don't really like the look of the cloth diapers. my cousin does it and they just are so puffy, but maybe that's the brand? idk. although there are some very cute patterns, but then they get covered up with the clothes! haha.TheEnd wrote:Oh, and because they are adorable! An added bonus is we never run out of diapers or wipes.

Me too, they could have always seen the comments later. They also get paid for comments. They're probably going broke from all those walmart trips.SomeoneNew2 wrote:You guyzzzzz, YouTube is being all cray-cray!!! Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 3
Haha I get it. They look a little weird if you're used to only seeing disposables. The look has really grown on me though. I love a fluffy little cloth butt! Actually, my toddler has such a tiny heiney that most of his pants fall off so I think they make him look proportionate. Lol.ashhbby wrote: i don't know why but i just don't really like the look of the cloth diapers. my cousin does it and they just are so puffy, but maybe that's the brand? idk. although there are some very cute patterns, but then they get covered up with the clothes! haha.

.
And yes, we use cloth wipes with our cloth diapers. They are wayyyy better than disposable wipes in my opinion. One wipe will take care of even the messiest messes. It's also easier to just toss everything in the laundry rather than separating the cloth diapers and disposable wipes.
Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 3
I only did a small google search since I do not need diapers for a couple if years. What is the best brand for affordable but durable diapers?? I liked how those BumGeniuses seem to work, where they adjust to the size of the baby. Anything similar to that out there for less?
Anyway, I recently moved and am not sure when I will get Internet so I feel like I am missing so much :/

Re: BumpsAlongTheWay Part 3
Maybe a cloth diapering discussion could be moved to a different thread? Some of us really done care to read about it when we are expecting to read about the Lanning Losers. Sorry, I just don't care about cloth diapers...

Couldnt agree with you more... ive been skimming and when/if i see 'cloth' i automatically dont read anything more in the comment.
I hate how everything has to turn into an argument or debate on here... and go on for days and days. Not trying to be a jerk about it, just tired of reading about cloth diapers and trying to read in between posts to find comments concerning the subject matter.

Bryan is such a girl, I can't even deal. I have never in my life seen a guy gush about how cute their kid is the way Bryan was. He literally sounds like a woman, I just can't.
