I know plenty of Christians who go to church and worship but are just as nasty and ungodly as missy and Bryan. They clearly believe in god and baby Jesus, so I'd say they are plenty Christian.

And that's what you call a cafeteria christian. You can't say you believe in a religion and not follow it, display the values, and pick and choose what is what. It's a word for them. A label. Nothing more. They say it because it makes them feel like better people.

Same! A lot of youtubers are doing it and it's annoying. If I wanted to watch ads I would watch tv. Loraandlayton are doing it in every video and Instagram post too.

However, I think they are just more upset because I think it ruins their whole "daily consecutive uploads" I think if they were trying to say they upload daily, and then someone sees that they uploaded those all in one day, they may not be in the running for anything. If that makes sense..

like, if something happened that Charles stopped vlogging, now Missy and Bryan wouldn't be in the running for that spot of longest daily vloggers because the uploads are not on the correct day.

Yeah...I bet her finger just slipped...on two different things. She's been on Youtube for how long? She's used the phone app before and this has never happened? Sorry but if it was something so simple as "oops my finger hit it.." then it would have happened before already. Multiple times. Just odd that since they have obviously hit a plateau on vlogging (well it's been here for months, but I think they are just now noticing), that something "dramatic," happens dontcha think?

And yes, they are cafeteria Christians. They'll cuss you out, bully you, and overall never mention their religion....until it benefits them. A friend of mine had a saying, "If I don't go out and get black out drunk on Saturday night....what will I have to pray to Jesus about on Sunday?!" I always think of them when I think of that. At least with Shay Carl, he always speaks of little reminders of his religious beliefs...nearly every video (and he has it down to where it isn't annoying, and it actually shows you that he practices what he preaches), you see them getting home from church every Sunday, you see them involved with the church..etc.

You never even hear Missy and Bryan pray, go to church, ...UNLESS they have some sort of benefit to add it in the vlog.

And anyone laugh that Bryan did an advert for a cooking show based on eating shit food? Sorry, but you can't make shit food into "nutritious" food no matter how hard you try. You can add things that are in themselves nutritious...but the nutritional value of the shit food doesn't change. I swear they are so damn ignorant.

Where is this "clear" evidence you seem to see? Because they put up a nativity scene this Christmas? I have one sitting in my window as well.Perhaps because they prayed before she went in for her c-section? Praying and putting up a nativity scene doesn't make one Christian.

I'm not judging based off "my perception" I'm judging based on what is said in the bible, they apparently worship.If you want to see someone who is active in their religion, perhaps watch the Shaytards. They attend Church weekly,and their brother just went off on a mission,Shay himself has been on missions.

I think that they should just leave their religion out of the vlogs. It adds nothing to them and not everyone believes in the same things you do. There are tons of religions and I don't want to sit around and listen to yours. It just comes off as pushy and superior. I just don't see the point in including it at all.

Now I'm not a religious person at all but it's my understanding that the reason Christians might choose to watch so-called Christian movies/read Christian books is because they are looking for a more wholesome/family-friendly experience that doesn't include vulgarity and continuous references to sex and violence, etc. That's why I find it funny that they try to appeal to a Christian audience because yeah they might believe in the whole baby born in a barn on xmas eve story but their vlogs are nowhere near wholesome. The titles are often sexual and/or misleading and even in the vlogs Bryan is always referencing Missy's 'hot' body parts.

I say clear because back in her loss videos she talks about god's plan, her babies going to heaven to be with her granparents, and turning to spiritual trust to cope with her loss.

Secondly being Christian does not mean being active in your religion. Christianity is the belief in Jesus Christ and his teachings. Sinning, while not ideal, is ok for Christians if they repent.

The shaytards are Mormon, which is a far more involved religious that dictates certain sacrements that must be followed in order to remain in the church. Christianity includes all people who believe that Jesus died for the sins of humanity. Missy and Brian believe that, thus I think they can classify themselves as Christian.
