Good for them! Missy doesn't seem resentful. I don't think she's jealous. Maybe she's moved on from her girl obsession.

I haven't seen it yet but don't forget they're professional liars. Either she'll be trying to hide it or she's genuinely excited because she can try and treat their baby girl like she does the Johnson girls.

Kelsey and Corbin hanging around Missy and going shopping with her reminds me of how my mother treats me to meals and little shopping sprees when we go out together. It's just so odd. Kelsey has been wearing that sweater Missy bought her in video after video, which makes me think she doesn't have anything else that nice or very much that fits. And now the couple that usually sticks to a pretty tight budget is running errands at Buy Buy Baby when they haven't even had their shower yet and purchasing $99 3-d ultrasound packages. Maybe they've been saving for this, or maybe Missy wanted to buy them their shower present early with their input. But I would find it awkward and inappropriate for a friend. Missy keeps referring to them as "our best friends" but it seems obvious to me that Missy is treating them like her little pets while Bryan is off doing his ego fueled music video nonsense.

They didn't show anything that they bought in Buy Buy Baby, doesn't mean they didn't buy anything though. In DB's vlog they didn't walk out with a ton of stuff (it didn't seem like) and in their vlog the cart was empty for most of the video. Who know's if they really bought anything or not... I will say that blanket that Missy got them was really pretty. Missy is spoiling them... but i'd rather see her throw money at a family who is having their first baby than on hair appts, fancy cars, and shitty music videos. LOL

I didn't really pay that much attention to the cart at the end, I'll admit that. I agree it's strange they want too buy all this stuff when they have no where at all to put it all. This is "missy's little girl" according to Bryan, I'll be shocked if she doesn't buy everything in sight for that baby. And as gracious as k&c are, they will eventually get annoyed by that. Sometimes you just want to buy things yourself!!!

I think B&M are hooking them up with something since they have no job, money, or a permanent place to stay. C&K had been trying hard to make money with Youtube/Social Media and they will milk their relationships with Missy as much as they can. Any free gifts along the way are just bonus.

I was annoyed at their "baby shopping chaos" video. I guess I just don't understand/like the playing dumb when it comes to being overwhelmed with baby stuff. Maybe I'm a brat but they came off as whiny "omg I don't know what to dooo-oo" types.

I agree. Bryan and Missy are probably calling in favors to get them meetings in hopes of helping them get ads/endorsements/product placements and the like since they're floundering now. I just think they should learn to buy their own stuff and stop using Missy as Mommy Warbucks. Yes, Missy is way overstepping and overly involved and inserting herself. But they're letting her because they like the perks and don't have money of their own to spend. It's just a really strange dynamic.

They've said they plan to live in Portland. I know her parents are in Idaho, and I think his are as well. So paying to ship baby stuff you bought prematurely to Idaho to one day ship it to Portland doesn't make sense. And they're already with a Network. They've been with Fullscreen for some time now.

I noticed their views and subscriber count jumped quite a bit while they were staying with Bryan and Missy and after Missy hosted their gender reveal. It will be interesting to see if they sustain that momentum, especially now that they're going home and won't be traveling anymore. They seem to always experience a jump after appearing on the Daily Bumps channel but then it drops off. I noticed she said that they would be using a doctor for the prenatal care and birth, which I suspected would be the case because I'm guessing that she's on Oregon's Medicaid program where being reimbursed for a midwife center or any out of hospital birth requires a lot of planning and documentation from the very beginning in order to qualify as low risk.

I think the Daily Bumps audience subscribes to see the Lannings in their videos, but once they're not in each other's vlogs I don't see them sticking around.

I'm just not sure Kelsey and Corbin have the stamina to keep up with daily vlogging. They just experienced a huge bump in views thanks to their time in CA with Missy and Brian and their gender reveal, and yesterday they put up a 2 and a half minute video that consists of one take with a fake Abraham Lincoln quote at the end. I would think they would be giving it their all right now to grow their channel.

It looks like it is set up to be an Airbnb (or could be) and they could probably make lots of money off renting it out. I think if they get their lives in order and start being more personally responsible, I could continue watching. But at this point they're just so out of touch. How many 26 and 27-year-olds with a baby on the way are crashing at an aunt and uncle's beach house as their living arrangement? I don't even really see it as the closing of a chapter until they're no longer either a) living out of the van or b) crashing with family/friends. I don't know anything about the Oregon coast, but I'm assuming this is not peak vacation season so the condo wouldn't be in use and that's why it was offered. That could become an awkward situation if they get too comfortable. She's due around February? That doesn't give them a whole lot of time to settle some place permanent, and he mentioned they would be there through the holidays.

Corbin is really good at capturing viewers' emotion thru his words and images. He dramatized everything from thunderstorm to bulging tires. However, I was laughing so hard while watching yesterday's THE END video when I heard, "We conquered the world." and "We had to hunt for food and water."

That was really overdramatic. They completely chose to stay in out-of-the-way camping spots. If they had stuck to Wal-mart parking lots, or just planned better, they wouldn't have to scramble for provisions so often.
