I agree with above - when my second was born I clung to my first. The baby was just a personality-less potato. I snuggled and loved it, but I spent so much time connecting with my older child who could talk, express feelings, and discuss things with me

Elle is already planning for the days when she can unlatch her parental responsibilities and live her life of visiting meditation rooms, getting Botox and dying her eyebrows without any disruptions.

Any guesses on how tomorrow's video of the boys meeting baby girl will go? I'm betting on her scolding Cohen for normal toddler shenanigans and lots of prodding questions and leading statements trying to force sweet reactions for the camera. Like when she told Forde she was pregnant and his questions/statements weren't good enough for Elle's vlog so she started asking him in a firm voice where he thought the baby came out of her etc.

Honestly I'm hoping Brighton's personality takes after Cohen and she'll have two Viking children to deal with. No matter what she labels it as, her child being stubborn or having their own personality apart from her standards isn't ok. It'll be interesting to see how Brighton grows up and deals with all these daughter ideals and dreams Elle has for her. Her being a narcissistic control freak who knows how their relationship will go down.

Is her obsession with Blankette because she sees her as a chance of a do-over with her mother. Where she will be able to offer her daughter everything her mother couldn't?
I mean it's kinda the same with the boys... She has a chance for being better than her mom.

Also, why does she always tag herself in her own photos?

It's admirable that at least elle after suffering from childhood trauma did not continue to look for the same abusive behaviour in adulthood which is generally very common. People do seek the same behavior as their parents, for better or worse.

* starving herself
* matching her kids to her home/family aesthetic
* driving to target, paying customs, and claiming she got SUCH A GREAT DEAL
* taking selfies (because she’s a clothing/style guru)
* taking selfies (because she’s a make up artist)
* taking full body selfies (because she’s mom goals and simultaneously BODY POSITIVE)
* deleting Facebook/instagram comments that are ABUSIVE and (constructively) criticize her
* replying to every single NOT POSITIVE comment, ignoring all the positive ones
* thinking of mundane questions to ask on instastories (omg how do you even WASH baby clothes?!?!)
* writing her book (requires trips to NYC)
* perfecting her wellness plan (see “starving” above, plus shitty at home moves stolen from
blogilates)
* interviewing FASCINATING people for her “everyday extraordinary” series (the lowest views of any of her videos, I’m not kidding go and look)

Anyone else get the feeling Elle hasn't really left her bed since she came home from the hospital. Dan and her dad probably bringing her food. It's like shes bedridden.

So I watched the boys meeting their sister...an almost 10minute video that could have been done in 3 and felt like 30. I cannot believe Elle put the meeting off. I am sure the boys will be very interested in their little sister but I am also quite sure Elle is protective over her mommy-daughter time and will not fully embrace the idea of the boys getting close. (I wonder if when the cameras are off the boys are as cast aside as her socials suggest).

For the sake of the video Elle tries to put on a sweet-toned voice and keep a smile plastered on her face...but every now and then the tone changes and her face drops ...and it seems, as others have pointed out, that her boys are just intrinsically annoying to her.

Overall, as dry and 'uneventful' as one might expect--Elle's content is painfully boring. Need TeachIT's recap
Just gonna throw this out there: I knew a woman who was really obsessed/satisfied with the baby stage, but once her children grew to about toddler age she constantly wanted to get pregnant again and turned into a controlling, impatient asshat toward the older children... wonder if this is 'a thing' some women are prone to... Hope this does not describe Elle. It is sad because there is no way to satiate the constant want for the newness of an infant.
