DING DING DING! That’s it. It’s sad but true. She didn’t care about being a good mom, nice person, body positive, accepting, or loving when she had boys. Only now that she’s a girl mom.

Poor boys. And poor Cohen especially. Seems like Dan was also home today and Cohen was no where in sight? He got shipped off to daycare so Elle can focus on putting Blankette to sleep only to resort to making her snooze in the car. Like someone said above, so much for her brand new fancy pants Bassinet that Blankette is not currently using and will grow out of in 3 more months max.

I wonder what made Elle post her "I'm such a good mom for recognizing I yell at my kids" post. Has she been short with Cohen lately?

I just read her post about yelling at Dan and the kids. I am glad, if she loses control and yells at them out of 'emotional immaturity', that she acknowledges it and intends to work on it. This tendency coupled with very controlling behaviour does not seem like a very relaxed environment for little ones--she is gonna inflict her neuroses onto them. As they get older they may mirror her behaviours.
If Dan is not a yeller, I do not know how they have a school-aged child without this having been addressed already.

I am not a yeller. Basically a saint in this regard.
It is not that I do not get overwhelmed and frustrated, I just do not use yelling as a release because I do not want to live in a household where that is the acceptable norm. I work hard to keep my home environment as peaceful as possible; and for me that means a lack of angry outbursts. I think we can all learn from our own childhood's what we wish to repeat and that which we would like to do differently. We choose. That is both the beauty and tragedy.

RECAP: one week/11 days/1 monthish post partum.

Wanting: this video NEVER ENDS. She goes on and on about breastfeeding and the same topics over and over and over and over again. While video could’ve been cut to 5 min tops.

Elle is posting this about a month postpartum. She says it was filmed 11 days pp, and is meant to represent 1 week pp. I don’t know if she’s just bad at math or that terrible to a vlogger?

“This video is to show how I’ve done with nursing, sleeping, and WEIGHT LOSS” - #TheBounceBack

She tore the same as she did with the boys (#teamtinyvag) and says healing has been the easiest. So confirmed: she’s in bed and not parenting the boys because she’s lazy trash, not because she’s unwell.

Everything is better is Blankie! Healing faster, less bleeding, easy nursing (“nursing was a NIGHTMARE with the boys” - her actual wording)

Then she goes on to say nursing actually hasn’t gone perfectly. She’s judging her supply by how full/big her breasts feel (which isn’t accurate btw) and thinks her supply is dropping BUT DONT WORRY it’s not Blankies fault, it’s because she was using cough drops.

She’s put herself on bedrest to avoid post partum anxiety. She is proud of herself for this. So proud. It’s made her more mentally stable unlike with those BOYS who made her feel manic and rushed.

Physically - “I gained... well I don’t care about this kind of stuff but I know other people do” COUGHbullshit. She started at 135-140lbs and weighed 180 when pregnant, 168 at 1 week/11 days post partum. “This is the least I’ve lost and I just don’t care. I don’t focus on fitness and weight loss for the first 8 weeks or so” (see previous posts from yesterday proving otherwise) “I’m just focusing on bonding with my daughter” - that’s right boys! You didn’t matter. Bonding with you was less important than selling wellness plans and getting skinny. Sorry dudes.

“I wouldn’t calorie restrict when breastfeeding, I never have” LIES LIES LIES

“I don’t want my pre-baby body back, I just want to be strong so I will be doing monthly fitness updates for me” then she asks us how we want to see these updates plus baby updates blah blah. It all sounds boring and honestly who wants to see her monthly body updates? You’re pushing 40 with 3 kids LET IT GO.

“The birth vlog brought a whole lot of new subscribers” (really? I counted like 200 TOPS) “don’t worry we’re not normally on a delay! Now we’re caught up” (really? You’re a month pp posting a 1 week pp video you recorded 11 days pp)

Her nipples are CRAZY POINTY in this video. I wonder if she’s wearing those metal silver nipple cups she raves about.

Video ends with VERY fast VERY overexposed body shots so that we can’t actually see her stretch marks or pudge, BUT SHES TOTALLY COMFORTABLE IN HER BODY.

Haven’t watched yet so just according to TeachITs recap I call Bullshit on her weight stats. I think she hit 200 and is now around 180. 168 at 5’9 is still quite thin and she doesn’t look it from what I can tell. I’ll watch later though. You know she wants her skinny frame back but she doesn’t want to admit it cause it’s not trendy. Just be honest with yourself and for us. I’d respect it more.

Are we seriously just getting her one week post partum update? This fucking kid is already a month old!

She shares that her pre-baby weight was 135-140 and she got up to 180, and I thought that had to be a fucking lie, because I’m 5’5” and at 9 months with my son I was 187 and 9 months with my daughter I was 178 and I was NOT as big and puffy as her, and with my son I was SO swollen, like 1 day after giving birth I had dropped 25lbs type of swollen. She was DEFINITELY more than 180 because she’s way taller than me! TeachIT’s old insta sleuthing has proven that... she was 145 in that pre-baby scrawny body that she always references back to. That’s the time she won the Tone it Up thing and got to go to California to see them. That’s the body she’s always suffering to get back to. Stop lying about your weight Elle, get on a scale live on instastories and prove it.

Elle keeps reiterating that she is not at all obsessive about getting back her pre baby body. She won’t calories count. She isn’t taking measurements. She’s not working out. Great. But I would have really appreciated from her if she mentioned that in the past, she did do those things and explains why she won’t be doing that this time. Honestly the one thing that would stop me from hating on her so much is if she owned up to her past behaviours or at least admit when something is a struggle.
