It's so annoying! But what bothers me even more is that it has nothing to do with the vlog!! It's just thrown in there randomly and seems so disingenuous.

Recently i've been watching old DB's videos from when they first started. I've been trying to figure out why the dynamic of their relationship has changed so drastically over the course of their youtube channel and i'm just going to go on and rant how i feel about this family. Basically how i feel is i dont think getting married young is a bad idea at all. I think maybe some of it was to escape from missys extremely regimented family and from Bryan's abusive family, i think they dreamt about having this amazing life together and escaping from it all, and props to them, they achieved their dreams. ( if that was one of them) I know a lot of what i say has already been stated but watching back on these old videos i discovered missy saying how she wants 3-4 kids and doesn't just want 2, so be prepared in future for pregnancy announcements. I think that missy's relationship with bryan is just based on who she is or how she was raised. How she acted around him in earlier vlogs was still the same, timid, shy, kind of " over it" face around bryan. I think bryan is very childish and she wants him to pull up his responsibility and be more like her dad. I also have another theory that she doesn't really show that kind of love and affection towards bryan because she knows she doesn't really need him. She has all the help from her parents 24/7, she has money, she has worked in an office setting before youtube so she has work experience, and she just knows she can do without him. I think bryan pulls a lot of the money and handles that responsibility and thats why she stays, for that stability not for the family comfort and maybe thats why mimi and papa are always around because she feels uncomfortable being left with bryan. Of course we don't know every intimate detail of their relationship and life all i know is if they were having serious relationship issues it wouldn't be easy to hide, and from the looks of it, they are. She just does not seem happy, and she seems exhausted, and maybe buying these pets and adding more responsibility is supposed to be another wedge between her and bryan, and maybe another responsibility that she wants bryan to start owning up and being the man of the house, instead of papa filling in for his shoes. I think another thing is they were 23 when they first started the channel and now turning 27 and i think that they have changed personally, and living in a finished garage and in a master bedroom of a house with family all the time, to a mansion in the hills, it seems like they saved a lot to be able to get where they are, but on the flip side coming from nothing and now having everything they should have a more humble attitude and start instilling that within their kids or else they will be handling brats, which from the looks of it is already happening before them.

I miss who they were in the beginning. That's why I started watching them, they were totally different back then. They annoy me to know end now but I keep watching because they used to be so likable

I miss who they were in the beginning. That's why I started watching them, they were totally different back then. They annoy me to know end now but I keep watching because they used to be so likable

Wow...that is an EXCELLENT article and perfectly describes the parenting from B&M. I really hope if they peruse this site they take a moment to read it. There are times where it's hard as a parent to shift from fun mode to discipline mode, but it doesn't have to be dramatic.

Ex: Ollie swinging that wand and nearly whacking Finn (not on purpose, he's just a little boy and that's how they play) is a great time to make that subtle shift. Just a quick, "Hey Ollie, don't swing your wand so hard, you might hit Finn and hurt him. Be gentle." Is usually all it would take. If he continues, make your voice firmer, "Ollie, you're going to hit Finn if you swing your wand like that, let's be more gentle or play something else." and so forth.
