Cullen and Katie: House Woes Part #9

Interesting that both Katie and Missy do the BLW, and start out well, then slack off. Finn started out the one who "will eat anything", but they're feeding him Ollie's diet now. If you are cooking the healthy stuff for the babies, why not just make more. It's really sad since they all stay at home. It's not like time is an issue.
I kinda agree with Lovethesnark about C&K's diet. They like what they eat. They may say they wish they ate better, but they enjoy that Southern food.

When they mentioned they keep nutrigrain bars bedside to keep the kids happy in the morning, I wondered if they were taking advice from Bryan and Missy? It's just as easy to keep bananas and oranges bedside if you gotta keep your kids in bed until you're ready to go downstairs. I expected better from C&K.

It's interesting how much slimmer Katie's sister is, given that she's carried three children, albeit they are all older (obviously having children shouldn't be the over riding reason for weight gain). Jay has recently hit the big 40 and is still keeping his weight more in check than Cullen is for his age. I've no idea what Kellie and Jay's diet/exercise is like because I struggle to watch their channel on account of Kellie's grating voice.

I think Kelley has always been naturally thinner than Katie. I think she workouts and the meals I've seen on their channel are balanced. They also have better portion control. For some reason, I feel like Kelley has more pressure from Jay to look a certain way. It's just the impression I get from them. I don't think Cullen applies that type of pressure to Katie. I've always thought Katie was better looking than Kelley, even with extra weight. Maybe because of the weight? I think C&K's wedding photos look weird because Katie looks like a bobble head. Katie's face is soften by the extra weight. IMO, Katie looked her best after they detoxed.

Anyone else find it hard to follow what Cullen was talking about at the end of today's vlog? Obviously he was talking about how he was happy he had the vlogs to look back on and for the kids to watch when they grow up, but it was all a jumbled mess. It seemed like he was trying to use big words he wasn't quite sure the meaning of, and metaphors that didn't really make sense. He was either exhausted, or maybe decided to have a few drinks before waxing poetic.

Also, the gum chewing and heavy breathing while Gaines searched for the Kinder eggs were like nails on a chalkboard.

Anyone else find it hard to follow what Cullen was talking about at the end of today's vlog? Obviously he was talking about how he was happy he had the vlogs to look back on and for the kids to watch when they grow up, but it was all a jumbled mess. It seemed like he was trying to use big words he wasn't quite sure the meaning of, and metaphors that didn't really make sense. He was either exhausted, or maybe decided to have a few drinks before waxing poetic.

Also, the gum chewing and heavy breathing while Gaines searched for the Kinder eggs were like nails on a chalkboard.

Pretty sure Cullen telling folk to go back and watch their older pre children vlogs is his last ditch/desperation attempt at getting their viewing numbers and subs up for newbies to their channel.

I noticed in two of the The JKToday's videos, Kelley was watching Gaines and kind of passive/aggressively pointing out that Gaines doesn't like any healthy foods.

Cullen and Katie could do with adding a bagged salad mix to their dinners like Kelley does. That would be so simple and there are lots of yummy combos Gaines might like.

That video where Kelley and Katie were filmed from behind walking into Target... I thought to myself I would NEVER want to be filmed from behind next to Kelley. haha. Or Ellie, for that matter.

I said the same thing! My youngest got it when he was around the same age as brooks. His entire little body was covered in red spots and freaked me out so badly.

I agree with others in that Gaines is becoming very picky. They have created a little monster, she is basically just as bad as Ollie now. They have about the same diet. I think they got out of the habit of feeding her veggies. She used to love veggies and ate everything they gave her during blw. They got extremely lazy along the way and just stopped giving her the healthy options.

I noticed they used to always film her eating, now they don't as much, because she eats garbage all the time. Same with their meals. They don't show what they are eating as much as they used to. Hope they get into better habits when they buy and move into their new house.

I think he was tired which is not usual and I they are being more quiet when trying to gain more views vs before with the louder version of subscribe and hit that like button. I wonder if they've invited DB/E+J to visit them at the beach? After seeing these channels spend time together twice a year, I wonder why they don't seem to be doing this so far this year?

I'm glad she did that personally. Gaines seemed to like those things after she tried it. Maybe it would encourage them to buy the healthy stuff.
