I think Lilia's room color was nice. The green wasnt cute lol but Im sure Jess knows that.. She let the kids pick the colors and thats really nice of her. I dont think Id let my future 5 year olds pick their own bedroom colors, especially not slime green lol. Good for her! Im too much of a control freak for that

Sorry if this has been mentioned, still trying to get caught up, but didn't they buy that huge fridge that was in their rental?
I thought she mentioned it in a video, so they would be bringing it with them. Which means they would have to update all the appliances in the kitchen to stainless steel.
Unless she lied and made it sound like they bought it but her landlord actually did.

Letting the kids pick the colours is great, but she should've done 3 neutral walls, and 1 feature wall in an appropriate shade, and spiced up the other walls with decor corresponding to the feature wall. Letting the kids pick out neon green or Barbie pink was her first mistake, and painting most of the room that colour was her second.
She has absolutely no class. The kids will get tired of the colours eventually and she will have to repaint!
This also brings me back to the whole what will she do when they are teens thing? Those rooms will not suit a teen, especially with the tacky painting, not to mention where will the kids hang out when they have friends over?

I don't understand what the big deal is about letting the kids choose the color. If they get tired of it, reliant in 4-5 years.
I repainted my room as a teenager 3 times, it wasn't that expensive and the only rule was that I helped paint it.

I think a snap mentioned the kids were gone that day too.

I agree. Yes, they're not the most attractive or calming colors, but it's in their bedrooms, not like it's the living room or kitchen. Heck, I let my one daughter paint her entire room black a few years ago. I just told her whenever it's time to change it (whether she gets sick of it or whenever she moves out for college, whichever comes first), she's the one who has to paint however many coats it'll take to cover the black. If that's even possible...lol. (Which, btw, if any of you want to paint your walls black, I REALLY DO NOT recommend it!!)

I'm sure Jess's kids will eventually get tired of their room colors, but this is the first time they have been able to actually paint (besides at Mimi's house), so I'll give Jess a pass.

But yeah she shouldn't have painted with Addie in the room. I would have left her in a different with a baby monitor or something. I feel like Jess would have been more productive if she didn't added another 10 pounds to her body to paint.

My mom let my sister and I paint our room FOUR DIFFERENT COLORS when i was younger and it was like a rainbow threw up. And we were told if we wanted it redone, we had to pay for the paint ourselves and paint it....needless to say we never repainted, we just covered the walls in stuff.

Those cheap dirty white sneakers are hilarious. This chick is so young but dresses like someone out of the 90's. The lime green would look cool as a feature wall with the beds against it and some cool art work hanging up but not the whole room. Can't believe the painted the trimming green ugh

We just redid our bathroom last week and I bought Glidden 2 n 1 paint. Came out really nice and saved me a days work.
That paint they bought is good if the house had mold, mildew or smoke scent. I could imagine what that house smelled like especially with that filthy blue carpet.

To me, it looks like the previous owners smoked inside the house, so that's why they chose to prime the walls. The blinds in the bedrooms are straight up yellow.
