Last time David came home, wasn’t V mad that he didn’t leave his uniform on to “surprise” her at dinner? Like she wanted one of those “soldier surprises his wife” moments with the hopes it would go viral. Does anyone remember that? I vaguely remember it being discussed on here but I didn’t want to try and find it in one of her 45 threads.

I’m sorry but I thought that video sucked. Some of my fav videos on YT are of soldiers coming home and I cry like a baby every time but hers just seemed more about her than David. “Look at me walking around the airport in my ripped jeans. I look so hot!” Also, why does she always have to film herself driving? She was on the interstate, going 80mph and recording. It’s so reckless to everyone on the road. If she’s going to film herself in the car, why doesn’t she get a mount for her camera? She’s not going to learn until she gets in an accident and I just hope those babies aren’t in the car with this dingbat.

She may be buying the car since they are moving overseas. The military will allow one car to be shipped overseas with the family and the inspections to ship are really tough. They may have decided to use the van for a trade in since it’s older and there was cosmetic issues with it that may make it fail the shipment inspection.

I wonder how long she has left for the phentermine, it’s usually given in 3 month intervals. I hope she’s still seeing her therapist so she’s not falling back into eating disorder habits. I also hope she’s taking vitamins or something.

The van was not theirs to trade in but David’s old car was still in the garage so maybe they could use that even though they wouldn’t get much for it, it’s better than just taking up the garage.

As a military spouse with kids the same age, these types of videos get me every time.

Can anyone enlighten me? The way they were talking in the phone they paid for David to fly home. In Australia the military would pay for that. Is it not the same there? I thought for sure he'd get reunion travel covered.

Also, my money is on a Canadian posting. She's buying things but still insisting they're moving countries. Again, does the military cover their move (like we have in Australia) or do they pay?

The military will pay for them to ship the car and all their belongings, so many people do buy new right before they move because it's easier than trying to shop later
