I think Kelsey's breakdowns are because Corbin is off working for his dad and she's never had to take care of June alone. It's pretty much a fact Corbin is going to have to work outside of the house because YT isn't working out like they planned.

What the heck is she going to do when she's alone with a toddler AND a baby?

Kelsey is very immature. She doesn't seem to know anything about being an adult. She NEVER finishes any projects she starts...ever (selling paintings, designing jewelry, putting up her own videos on her channel, etc.)! She didn't do a bump date update for 11(!) weeks?! Beeeech, you're not THAT busy....

Also, she's a hypocrite. She's saying SM is making her feel stressed, but she only posts the most flattering pictures of herself. Get over yourself, lady. You picked this as a career.

I clicked on today's Samika vlog and the pre-roll ad was a portion of K&C's visit to Best Western. They must have made quite a bit from making that #ad video if BW is using it themselves.

Possibly not. I’m sure once they were paid there was some form of agreement that BW could use the content how ever they wanted. They are a small channel. So even if BW paid them $1,000 that’s nothing to BW but a lot to Kels and Corbin

While they don't get many views per video, they do have 250K subs...so a lot of advertisers don't see that as a "small" channel. Many much smaller channels get sponsorship deals with places like Walmart, General Mills, Big Lots, Kohl's, Target, Old Navy...etc. I think they all work with brand managers to get these deals. C&K were with Trending Family...not sure if they still work with that management team.

Several other YTers had the same Best Western deal—including Aspyn Ovard and Hey Nadine. I'm guessing they were paid a lot more than $1000.

Just because you got chosen to do the same deals as other Youtubers doesn’t mean you got paid the same. If Corbin and Bryan both got the same brand deal obviously Bryan would get paid more. He has more subscribers and more views per video. He’s worth more than Corbin. If anybody paid them more than $1,000 their freakin idiotic!

I think it's hilarious that they are so hung up on Tabor being a boy, when they were going on about being gender neutral with June before she was born. Just like all the BS about June being "an adventurer", when she was an infant.

Well, probably because they need to seem relatable. Some of the Youtubers I’ve seen do the same deal have a little more class day to day. The Scotts literally walk around barefoot and kels said she only washes her hair once a week

On the one hand I can sympathize with Kelsey and her body image issues/weight gain this pregnancy. Just scrolling her Instagram comments once I saw a couple rude comments calling her names and calling her out for the weight gain. But at the end of the day, they are choosing to put their lives on YouTube for public consumption in exchange for a check. The rest of us get up every day and go to work for a living. Kelsey and Corbin could choose to earn their own way in this world if they had the motivation and the work ethic to do so.

That’s a good point about Kelsey suddenly having to be an adult and a mom without Corbin hanging around 24/7 for the first time ever.

I think that while he was ready for a second child sooner than she was, she was the one who became all gung-ho about getting off birth control and then because obsessive when it didn’t happen the first month. She wanted this, and now suddenly she’s realizing it’s actual work. Their channel was in a much better position when their daughter was born thanks to the Lannings. Not only that, but they had a job offer from Bryan and endless gifts from Missy. All of that has changed, and I can’t fathom how they didn’t factor in how their finances and thus their lifestyle would be different this go-round.

I doubt that preschool is a financially responsible move for them at this point (even though I think their daughter could benefit from the interaction and language skills). I think that Kelsey is panicking about being home with a child and newborn and is thus suddenly all about the preschool. She could have been socializing their daughter and doing lessons with her for quite some time if it was something that Kelsey was interested in pursuing outside of Kelsey’s own self-interest in minimizing her responsibilities. If money is tight, what about making friends and joining play groups? And doing her own lessons at home? I

t sounded like she didn’t make any parent friends through the music class in California or the swim lessons in Boise because Corbin dominated those, and thus June’s social interactions with other kids were limited. I think it’s a mix of Kelsey being socially awkward/not willing to assert herself and Corbin being so domineering. They don’t seem to have any friends left, and they use and alienate their family off and on. Corbin comes across as rather narcissistic, so I don’t think he particularly cares. But for Kelsey, that has to be extremely isolating.

She's been complaining about this topic LONG before she got pregnant with the tator-tot. It makes me wonder if Corbin makes comments about her weight when the camera is off. I wouldn't be surprised. He seems like the jerk husband (like It's Judy Time's husband) who would put a lot of pressure on losing weight and looking good FOR HIM.

Kelsey needs to stop scrolling IG and some real FRIENDS. I think she'd be a lot happier with some female support her own age—not just her weird husband and his family.

Clickbait title. They make it sound like it’s some super secret trip they’re going on but it’s actually the exact same trip as every year...lake Powell houseboat.

The vlog (after Kelsey’s ad for a video game) was basically them complaining about everything they have to do to get ready to drive to lake Powell. He said they’re having family stay at their house to watch Paris, the chickens and pick the vegetables. While Kelsey was showing all the healthy stuff they got from Trader Joe’s, she skipped over the jelly beans and candy.

Corbin seemed a little po’d that Paris came in the house. Does he stay outside all the time now? Poor Paris.

As I remember, they actually didn’t film that much of the trip last year. I think there were only a couple of vlogs. Can’t imagine they’ll do more than one with their new schedule. Boring.

They are such shitheads. I hope they are paying whomever is helping them out. They certainly take advantage of EVERYONE.

Honestly, I think they are just hoping Paris dies. They (well, Corbin) seem to now hate that poor dog. They should probably give him away to a CARING family before the potato comes in October.

Missy and Bryan were in their neighborhood in Boise (same parks K&C go to, about a mile from their house) and didn't mention them or see them.

What a difference from two years ago when they were hanging out ALL the time.

Kelsey seemed a little embarrassed by the photo shoot. Corbin is an idiot for sure. It’s funny he thinks he’s some great videographer but really isn’t anything special.

They really had no plan for how they were going to turn their channel from an attempted “travel” channel into a family vlogging channel once they cut off ties with Bryan and Missy. They still call themselves the “Wander Family” except now they have a mortgage, other responsibilities, and most importantly a complete lack of travel funds. The only travel they can muster these days is an annual family paid trip to Lake Powell, or a sponsored “staycation” at a local Best Western.

Not that they were world travelers before, they tried to travel the country in a broken-down van while pregnant and maxed out their credit cards to go to Europe once. They keep teasing these sketchy trips that essentially require crowd funding and always fall through. But it’s no wonder they can’t find an audience or sustain views. They don’t know what their channel is about, and they don’t film on a regular basis or want to share details of their personal lives. You can do a minute or two of drone footage as b-roll, but Corbin has no concept of how to make an interesting video with main footage that people actually want to watch.

The fact that they tried to hype up this annual family trip as some sort of surprise is pathetic, and then they complained about how stressful it is to pack up a preschooler because they need to drive somewhere and stay in a hotel when this is a FREE trip paid for by mom and dad? Then don’t go. Oh wait, they’re desperate for content and they can’t pay for their own vacations, so of course they aren’t going to pass it up.
