God damn...the amount of straight-up privilege is painful. I'm slowly working my way through the video and I just caught Elle saying "All the strollers we've had for our kids have been used" and my bullshit detector went wild. If that is true, THEN WHY THE FCK SHILL THE $1600 STROLLER TEN MINUTES LATER??

That was the recap to end all recaps, oh my god!! I’m so sorry to learn that TeachIT lives in California because girl, I want to be real life friends!!!!

I stopped watching less than halfway through, but hold up. Did you guys say she bought a new Bugaboo Donkey stroller!?!?

Oh boo hoo, all of their strollers up until now have been *gasp* USED. The humanity! That Bugaboo Donkey she bought from another mom cost her $700!! She acts like she picked it up off someone’s curb on garbage day. I remember watching the vlog where she talked about getting the stroller secondhand, and I didn’t know about stroller swap groups at the time. I thought it was such a good idea and kept it in my back pocket for when it was time to upgrade. I got a double stroller with all the attachments for 40% of the retail price. She went and shit all over that when she went and repurchased a brand new version of a stroller she already has! she becomes less relatable by the minute.

I loved the thrift store comment about wanting only higher end thrift store EXPERIENCES. We all know the only “thrift store” she’s been into recently is that place in NYC where she bought her ghastly LV bag. “Even though it’s real leather I believe it still fits my vegan aesthetic (sorry, I mean PLANT-BASED) because it’s secondhand, so the animal is already dead! No NEW animals died for my purse, just the one they already killed! No blood on my hands, y’all!” I bet with the exchange, that thing still cost her at least $1000. Unreal. But she was in NYC Carrie Bradshawing it up (sans crew because she doesn’t have one) while writing her “BOOK” so yeah, a girl needs a Louis Vuitton bag, duh.

Her list of must-haves is stupid. Especially considering she hasn’t even tried them yet.

I’ll tell you what’s NOT better for the environment - throwing out a perfectly good plastic diaper pail because it’s not aesthetically pleasing.

First - if the plastic smelled: it’s called CLEANER. It’s not that difficult to spray, wipe down, and leave outside in the sun.

Second - you don’t need to shove the diaper down in the diaper genie. Provided you’re not allowing it to get so filled up it can’t open properly. Standing on the foot lever lifts the lid and 2 other levers create a shelf to hold the diaper. Releasing the foot lever separates the ‘diaper shelf’ dropping the dirty diaper - HANDS FREE - into the main pail.

I don’t own the donkey stroller but I will agree that investing in a good convertible stroller is a smart move if you plan on having multiple kids close together.

I’m glad she felt it necessary to invest in new and expensive soothers when her track record shows neither of her two previous kids took to soothers.

Shouldn’t she still have a bunch of bottles from trying to help Cohen? Or does baby need new ones since they’re not pink??? Maybe, a third time around mom would know it’s not smart to invest in things that kids could be picky about - like soothers or bottles. MAYBE a third time mom would suggest to see if friends have that style to try on your kid FIRST before buying a bunch of hip bottles.

As a busy SAHM of 3, it was super important to invest in new PINK blankets. (Since she felt compelled to donate blue sleep sacks in a previous video). Everyone knows each baby needs alllllll new stuff. Totally justifies the ‘buy quality so you don’t need to rebuy’ schtick she spews.

Was anyone else really irritated with how she was speaking? What she was saying coupled with how she said it and the hand movements just irritated the fuck out of me. She doesn’t normally bother me that much but she just gave off such an entitled and arrogant vibe that I found myself - continuously- checking how much time was left because I wanted it to be OVER. (I like to see how on the nail TeachIT’s recaps are. Every time has been 150 %. Bonus points for witty observations).

The Lindquists

Oh her tone of voice is completely irritating. She gets off on pontificating to the masses. There’s a reason this video is 37 minutes long. Hint: it’s not because of meaningful content!

I find it interesting that the beginning part of Elle’s family photo on Instagram is all about how much her family loves her, as opposed to how much she loves them. She does go on to say that she’s grateful for them, so maybe that’s how she shines the light on them. But it’s interesting how she puts herself at the centre of it all.

Yes to new bugaboo. If you see it in stories today it’s a new one. Her old one was scuffed up BAD from in and out of her old car for so many years

Guys there is enough material on here and in my head to write an essay, no wait, a book on Elle Lindquist. I think our version of her life story would be way more interesting. There is so much I want to say about her but at the time time I can’t do it on my phone. It requires being at a real computer. Maybe another time. But I mean really you have to be somewhat narcissistic to think anyone wants to read your memoir.

Also didn’t she get gifted a few strollers to try? I remember her saying she was going to give one to Veronica which was uppa baby or something. She’s also trying to sell on currently on Facebook.

I actually practice what I preach in quality over quantity. We bought one stroller. It converted to a double. We used that sucker for 5 years. One stroller. ONE Elle. Just saying.

Ugh so much to say about this person. She’s become so much more intolerable since having the baby. So smug. So hypocritical. So very tone deaf.

“If our lives are filled with purpose, we won’t be distracted looking for everyone’s approval.”

But what if your life’s purpose IS seeking everyone’s approval? Riddle me that, ELLE.

At this point I would just like to know what the purpose of her channel is.
I am sure Elle would use a string of buzzwords...but her content is vapid.

And I HATE that she has not properly addressed her 'giving back' fund/campaign--if it is over I feel like her OG viewers deserve to know. She is so wasteful with money... Instead of buying all of the recent crap for Blankette, think of how much more meaningful it would have been to do a large donation to i.e., pregnant/mothers in crisis or maybe fund fertility treatment to help a couple experiencing difficulty conceiving... That would have set her apart from other youtubers; but instead it is the same 'look at the obscene amount of money I spent on senseless junk for my baby' videos.

Her content is... “empowering women to be supported!” And sharing her life to the THOUSANDS of people who ask her daily

Vapid is the perfect word for it.

For a long time I’ve felt she is constantly trying to keep up with other youtubers.

Admittedly, I was deceived into thinking her giving back campaign was legitimate. Now I think she did it to get more reach. People are willing to ‘share’ videos to help a good cause. No one really wants to share her ‘HILARIOUS’ family clips - like the obviously staged husband gives me a needle one.

She tried to make her ‘woman sings in living room with the flood’ video go on Ellen. I think to myself - if I was really that overcome with emotion (and her later revealing all of her personal issues ‘justifying’ her over the top reaction) would I stop my crying/singing to set up my camera, put my song back on, and redo it? No...if this was a security camera which she later showed - sure. But she SET IT UP. There’s nothing genuine or spontaneous about that.

So - back to her giving back. I think that’s over. She might do one or two more donations. To prove us haters wrong. But I doubt it will come back.

If she thinks her second day waves look good, she’s obviously blind. Although everything to date that she thinks looks good on her is absolutely atrocious, so this really shouldn’t surprise me.

Also, her face is looking so puffy yet pinched. Her eyes are so strange lately. Maybe that’s what they look like with all the Botox worn off 🤔

Exactly what I’ve been thinking “oh shit, this is what she looks like when she isn’t starved, doesn’t have Botox, and isn’t wearing makeup??”

"I think if I could hand pick what I want, it would be two sons then a daughter. Two boys to lead and protect her, and then she being the youngest to train their hearts on how to love a girl."

W T F

I imagine healthy people saying: If I could handpick what I want is three healthy, happy children. Not a ranking system and tasks for each of them.
The boys learning how to love a girl because they have a sister, well they have a mother! And even so, what if they are gay? And is love that different?
I get it, it's good as a boy to have a sister to understand tampons and bras and all that but still!
This is such a Disney fantasy.

Truly and honestly, I don’t think Dan actually said that. It just doesn’t come across as something he would say, but 100% sounds like Elle. But she can put whatever words she wants in his mouth, because he doesn’t have social media to check up on her and what she is saying about/for him.
