I was wondering the same thing. I honestly think she enjoys having the comments turned off. It’s obvious with the stupid “interaction” questions she asks her audience, that’s she doesn’t really want to engage with them. Comments off is one less platform she has to pretend to care about people and she also doesn’t have to patrol the comments for abuse!

Recap: FIRST WOMAN TO NEED AN EPIDURAL

yikes 27+ min video... this will be painful.

Elle’s underarm fat is on full display.

2 weeks before induction there was low fluid. This wasn’t a “SURPRISE” induction at all, Elle just saved these bits to (try to) make the birth vlog more click baity and viral.

“Gods hand orchestrated everything” as she explains why they got another ultrasound/follow up.

I’m really not going to recount the story of why she was induced because it’s exactly what is shown in her vlog. I don’t know why she is retelling it. Baby stopped growing at 36 weeks. Low fluid. Period.

She loved the OB which is hilarious considering her previous hissy fit and distrust when she thought she MIGHT get a csection by “some random OB”

10 min in and she’s provided no new information or perspective. Is this just a video so she can hear herself talk?

She had pitocin to induce labor but insists on calling it “oxytocin” (literally the same thing) because it sounds more boujie and natural. She got me I had to google to see they are the same.

Everyone thought from the intensity that Elle was ready to push... turns out she was only 3cm because baby flipped transverse. She needed to relax so baby could flip. Wasn’t all that in the vlog?

“I have never been against epidurals” LIES

She says how happy/glad she was to get the epidural so many times that it’s very clear she’s still coming to terms with how this has destroyed her “natural birth” brand and processing it.

She had a religious dream and hammers on about it.

Goes on to say how much better birth was with epidural because baby was born into a happy environment, she was able to be more present, etc. So why does she still say she’s for epidurals “when needed”? Why not always have one if they produce such miracle, happy, healthy births?

“Babies have their own plan” THEN WHY ARE YOU SO PRO BIRTH PLAN???

“Make sure you subscribe I have a LOT of really great videos I’m excited about” - seriously, what? Her content is GARBAGE now. She flopped on the birth vlog, follow up videos have been worse, she has NO good content!

Elle is such a bore. She doesn't really give value to her audience and doesn't even try. I'm tired of her endless talks that elevates herself. Her birth story has the same things rehashed in her birth vlog. Only she goes into detail with her so called spiritual dream and how her induced birth with epidural is better than yours. Millions of women got induced and had epidurals Elle, but they weren't spiritual enough like yours was right?

I started watching some other mom Youtubers because I'm trying to see how weaning a toddler worked out for them. They all have great value they give with organized and digestible delivery for their audience. When I went back to watch Elle you can tell she doesn't give a damn what her audience gets from watching her videos. She rambles on a lot especially on her sit down videos and barely gets her point across because she spends so much time talking about herself.

ANOTHER post about "Lets talk postpartum bodies" on facebook. What the actual F? ANOTHER??? there's 2 instagram posts (at least?) .. how many blog posts... what is going on here? Each one has slightly different wording but basically the same. She must really hate herself on a daily basis and have to write down over and over that SHE IS CHOOSING TO LOVE HER BODY
