Missy is holding the camera on the way to Freebirds and she sees Finn behind her and keeps walking? Why did she even bother having kids if she doesn't know how to take care of them?? Do they ever wipe their kids nose? Missy just nods and stuffs her face when they go out - she loves that she doesn't have to do any dishes or feed her kids herself - what a useless person!! Jeff just showed up for some free food and really...a burrito montage?? Missy yelling at Finn and then all of a sudden realizing she's filming so she goes for a more calm discipline voice - what's the point? They love their kids yet they shove them in the "play room" so that they can sit and do lego?? Missy grow the F up already!!

Considering that the next pregnancy could possibly be her last due to the c-sections, I would say Missy.actuallydear wrote:Back to baby girl talk - who do we think would lose their marbles more if next baby is a boy - Ellie or Missy?
I was thinking of what would be the best outcome for the boys (especially Finn) if they got a baby brother or sister, and I don't know about you all but I feel that each situation wouldn't be good. If Missy had a girl, I think that she would be the new golden child but Ollie would still be their precious miracle. Ollie and Missy Jr would get all the big birthday parties while we can all guess what would happen to Finn.
If the next baby is a boy, I think that Missy would not take it very well and the baby would become Finn 2.0, if not worse. I think she would resent him even more, especially if he was her last chance of getting her princess. Ollie might still remain the golden child, or Missy may start to resent all the boys.

They wonder why Ollie is having night terrors? Watching Harry Potter right before bed for a 2 and 4 year old could be a problem. Brylard even says they probably should t be watching it.
Missy fixing her pie crust was so funny. Guess she doesn't know how to roll out the dough to the right size.

With all that said, do you think they'd actually do gender selection? Someone mentioned in the last thread, or maybe this one. Do you think they'd actually go down that route and not film it? Missy would be begging for all kinds of attention from the pain all the needles and etc.. What do you guys think is next with these two? With Ellie and Jared majority feels they want a baby to get views up. Also for Ellie's sanity they need another baby otherwise she doesnt have much to live for.pllfan5 wrote:Considering that the next pregnancy could possibly be her last due to the c-sections, I would say Missy.actuallydear wrote:Back to baby girl talk - who do we think would lose their marbles more if next baby is a boy - Ellie or Missy?

What exactly does gender selection entail? Is it like IVF and then testing the gender of the embryos? Because yeah, if it involves needles, I honestly don't think Missy will do it.

I've said it before but I honestly think they should do gender selection. I don't see anything ethically wrong with it but I can definitely see a lot of people judging them hard for it. Ellie and Jared are Mormon and want like a thousand kids so what's one more boy when they're gonna have like 10. Missy has said before that she wants like 3-4 (I think.... not sure one hundred percent) so why not ensure the last one is a girl if that's what she really wants? I mean, it's weird and I don't think I'd ever do it but for her she seems like really set on having a girl. I remember with Ollie's ultrasound she didn't want to believe it was really a boy and went back for another scan.

Also I should add: if they actually do gender selection I doubt they'd vlog about it or even say anything about it. For one, they can't handle someone thinking differently than them and therefore receiving criticism and for two, they wouldn't be able to do a big huge gender reveal party.

I'd definitely watch their vlogs again if they went to do gender selection. I'd be interested to know how it works, how they cope, their "journey" would be interesting to watch. Maybe they should consider it if they ever have any issues with viewership or subs going down It would bring a new audience...sarahelizabeth_1 wrote:I've said it before but I honestly think they should do gender selection. LOL-- you mean people called them out on it now that he's four?
I think Missy would have trouble with the needles required for gender selection, but I think she'd do it for a girl. If they do micro sort, it's not guaranteed, but it has over 90% chance, and I think there's no needles. But I don't think they would film it. They know their audience. When she was pregnant with Finn, there were comments asking what contractions were. Their audience is kids, mostly. And they don't want to hear about the logistics. They just think Bryan and Missy "should have a girl next".

I just want to point out that I don't think her outfit for Ollie's birthday was stupid...I own the same leggings and love the crap out of them! I have them in green and purple.

I have never understood why they don't show the kids age-appropriate tv. Some Disney and animated stuff is fine occasionally, but what ever happened to Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers? There's no shortage of television content for their age groups, and plenty of good educational shows that those boys could benefit from. I hate to say it, but if M&B aren't going to teach Ollie colors, numbers, shapes, etc., the least they could do it plop him in front of a show that will do it for them. Obviously not ideal, but it's better than nothing!janem wrote:They wonder why Ollie is having night terrors? Watching Harry Potter right before bed for a 2 and 4 year old could be a problem. I totally agree with both of you. Why would Bryan want them to learn something when he can brainwash them into liking the things he likes? At least introduce them with the books when they are able to read it themselves. I didn't read Harry Potter until I was way later in elementary 10+ yrs old. If I remember correctly, he was having Ollie watch Harry Potter movies roughly about Finn's age. Books are better than the movies anyways. I get wanting your kids to like what you like, but forcing them just cause you like it is just self-serving especially at their age.cat9480 wrote:I have never understood why they don't show the kids age-appropriate tv. I was sad they let Ollie watch the movies because they had now ruined the books for him. I am a big supporter of always read the book first.heymallie wrote:I totally agree with both of you. When I was Ollie's age I watched Winnie the Pooh, Arthur, Magic School Bus, or anything on PBS kids. All of these shows have great lessons that Ollie would possibly never learn from his parents. The only age appropriate thing he watches apart from Disney is Paw Patrol but that's because it's trendy.

I think the runny noses and hives could be due to poor pool maintenance. If they don't have proper chlorine levels in the pool these issues are pretty common. Two big pool parties within a month and who does the maintenance??? Missy's dad or a professional pool person??? I wouldn't be surprised if it was accidentally over-chlorinated.
