They could also just travel around California or Southern California. They have plenty of time. A 4-6 hour drive would be nothing for them. They could go to state parks and monuments. Choose some kind of theme. Anything other than just sitting at home!

I can't get over Corbin's strange 50s greaser look for their promotional family photos. The cuffed jeans tucked in with a belt, the white undershirt, the greasy bouffant hair, the jean jacket. Just, no. These two have the fashion sense of Missy & Bryan. Kelsey always looks like a sister-wife to me. I think she's going for a bohemian look, but it always looks more fundamentalist prairie girl.

That's not a great photo of them. You're so right about Corbin and Kelsey's fashion sense.

Corbin seems to need to be the center of attention. Even in that photo he's the one looking at the camera and Kelsey/June are looking away. Sort of creepy!

Ok, can some one catch me up on this? I haven’t been reading here lately, but someone on the DB board said they are wanting to buy a house? Not in California? How can they possibly buy a house with no jobs - weren’t they pretty much poor just a couple months ago? And weren’t they *just* saying they were definitely not ready to buy a house because they like to move around and weren’t sure they wanted to stay in CA?

Clearly I need to catch up with these people...

They put out a video about this just a couple days ago, but you don't really need to watch it because everything you said above is what they said in the video. One of their goals for 2018 is to buy a house, probably not in California. They don't plan to do so until their lease is up in the fall. They hinted that they're not planning to live someplace warm because they said they want to enjoy the California weather as much as they can for now.

I think Corbin has a niece (at least, maybe more)... was it his family they were on the house boat with?? I remember there being at least one little girl there with them. Corbin’s sibling’s kid, if I remember right. Does Kelsey have siblings?? Maybe they are moving closer to her family.

Yes, Corbin has a niece. Kelsey has a brother and sister. Corbin has two brothers.

Both Corbin and Kelsey's families seem to still live in the small town where they grew up, but I really can't see them moving back to Idaho. I could see them moving back to Southern Oregon. It's cheaper than most urban areas and more options for their "homesteading" lifestyle. Heck, maybe Corbin can get his old news job back in Medford???!

On a different topic, did anyone else catch Kelsey say M&B dropped the presents off? They didn't actually hang out?? I wonder if this sudden "we're moving out of California" thing has to do with a fallout between the two couples??? It was predictable, but it's only been a few months and it sucks to see friends no longer friendly - Missy and Kelsey did legitimately seem to be friends.

Here's my conspiracy theory: BM have obviously been helping them financially but I wonder if it was supposed to be temporary until their channel got off the ground. Well, it hasn't, so maybe Bryan decided to cut them off in 2018 and it's caused tension between the families and maybe even between BM themselves. CK can't afford to live in Cali without their help and have to move. Missy wants to keep them as friends and on the payroll but has no real control over the finances so she's bringing gifts to show that she's on their side. She and Kelsey are getting back on better terms but everyone is still pissed at Bryan.

Literally no proof for any of that but hey it's not like they're ever going to tell us what's really going down

O boy. Corbin must really want his own thing to control. On an older topic, that video clip of her getting the pillow out of the garage was really weird! A girl needs comfort and that is not as weird as it is him calling June, Bubba, clearly what one calls a boy. I wonder if he resents Kelsey for being pregnant and having a girl. I could see him wanting a boy so much more but never admitting it.

I would be surprised if Bryan cut them off. He seems to LOVE being the one to financially "help" people. I think it makes him feel important.
I would guess Corbins work ethic had a lot to do with the potential fall out. Corbin is LAZY and incredibly entitled. He hasn't kept any job for any length of time, why would working for Bryan be any different?

It really is astonishing that Corbin can't maintain a job for longer than a few months at a time. Huge red flag.

I also wonder if Corbin is so egocentric that the comments about Daily Bumps bother him, so they don’t film with them. They clearly get a bump in views when they feature their more popular friends, so it seems odd to cut them out of the vlogs. I don’t think Bryan and Missy would ask to be left out, they seem to like feeling important and popular, so they don’t mind helping their friends and family get their channels off the ground.

Hello! Long time lurker, I finally joined because I wanted to see if anybody else thought the mattress thing was odd. I agree with you that showing her old mattress was distasteful. I also didn't like that they seemed to be looking for praise for gifting something they got for free. Most vloggers, that I've seen, do giveaways for the extra stuff they are given so I guess its nice that they gave it to family but the whole production around it was a bit weird and unnecessary.

I don't know much about the bumps but I was wondering how people know that Corbin was his assistant? I thought the Johnson fam guy was his assistant because Bryan mentioned it in a past vlog.

I’m cringing so bad... “We have time to...do it now” such a waste of time

I'm a little perplexed that Kelsey says that they need to "try their very best" to divide the parenting duties 50/50 to the point that they have a list of chores and they switch off each day. I find it interesting that it's seemingly a struggle for them to share parenting/household duties evenly when they are both home all day. I don't know, I'm not necessarily criticizing the list, because I can see where that would be beneficial in lieu of nagging your partner every time you want them to take out the trash or run the dishwasher. But household chores (and presumably baby chores) are fairly routine and become second nature when you've been living together for a period of time. Why do two stay at home parents need to give each other a to-do list with basic things on it like "change the baby" and "do dishes." They're either both incredibly lazy and need to be reminded to do basic stuff, or one person wasn't pulling their weight and it lead to resentment.

Every time they do a sit-down and try to get real, they reveal just how out of touch they are. I'd be much more likely to take advice from two people who work, raise a family, and have a good marriage. These two don't work full-time, they're at home all day every day, and their marriage comes off as creepy and controlling. Who takes marriage advice from someone who pretends their wife's dog escaped and films her tearful reaction for YouTube views? They act as though other parents will be able to relate, but most other parents have a lot more on their plate and don't complain half as much.
