Really irritated me how everybody else got to see and play with Jacksons hot wheel track before Jackson did. Why didnt they build it the night before so he could see it in the morning when he woke up. Why did he have to wait for his cousins?

The marble run is pretty much the exact same concept as the track and he could've used the track as a marble run. The run wont last long anyway he cant take it apart and build it so whats the point? Its a dust collector.

Calvin pointing all the time is not really cute either I believe its his way to compensate on his lack of verbal communication.

I thought the dinos were super cool. Very realistic and I would totally use them as a display thing too or make a little garden for them outside in his hut thing

That always bothers me with most of their families birthday videos. The kids, usually Bonnie's, always jump in and have to open the birthday kids presents. I especially remember Jackson's 2 and birthday maybe?? It just seems to always happen and no adults usually say anything. That just bugs the shit out of me.

Honestly, it always shocks me how this family takes bites out of the cakes. Like, who would want a piece knowing someone else's mouth was on it?! I get it; they're having some fun but when it comes to birthday cakes my family has never done that. We've always kept the cake nice and perfect until it was time to serve it- never let kids touch it, put their mouths on it, etc

I am a new(ER) E&J watcher and a lurker on this thread. Just 2 comments/questions:

I’ve seen it pointed out a lot about everyone’s unhealthy relationship with food and their ridiculously small. For Jackson’s birthday, she said thee pizza was there so it was time to party. There were 2 Hot & Readys for what I believe was 5 adults and 5 kids. Seriously??? 16 pieces means 2 per adult and 1 per kid, with 1 piece to spare. Splurge on a $5 pizza. Or maybe even breadsticks.

And my question. What’s the deal with that painting above their couch? It always looks white, but sometimes I wonder if it’s blurred out. I know a friend painted the one above their stairs, but do they edit out the one above their couch, or is that really what it looks like?

I was totally side-eyeing that pizza but we have seen them do that multiple times with the same freaking Little Ceaser's pizzas. They're as cheap as they come and it's a party! The entire extended family has the strangest food habits.

The painting above their couch is literally just a giant gray "abstract" sort of painting. It's not blurred, just a useless painting..almost as if they just framed a chuck of the wall. I'm a total gray fan myself and have done my whole house in it but there comes a point when it's too much!

Anyways, I was watching their video today when Ellie received the Bump Box surprise in the mail from Jared. I was so shocked that when Jared kept telling her he loved her, she would just say K or Thanks.... Is this normal for them? Like I said, I don't normally watch them, but this strikes me as odd. I just felt bad for him and felt she had animosity towards him. Maybe it's just how they are, but regardless, tell your husband you love him!

I also came here to say just that! What a bizarre reaction from her. He kept telling her how much he loved and she was so distant. Her finger was literally hovering over the hang up button. This guys caters to her, rubs her back and feet every night and she acts so entitled. That "thank you" call was downright cold. WTF?

Wow, that was pitiful on the phone call!!! He's telling her repeatedly how he loves her and all Ellie does is say thank you! Checked the comments and many are commenting negatively on it. One comment and the associated thread it really talking about it. Let's see if the comments stay or not!

The Bump Box sounded like a big old sponsorship to me with Ellie pointing out the prices and being so awkward with Jared about it. Don't try the take a shot every time Ellie says cute or fun game...you won't make it through this video alive! The box looked dumb as well...it was 90% fluff in there.

And poor Cal running away all embarrassed after he realized he was being filmed and everyone was staring at him. He look mortified when he lifted his head up and saw them. His personality is just so...interesting.

Just tried to edit my post but it wouldn't let me. I wanted to add that I hadn't finished watching the vlog when I posted and then I came to the part where Ellie was asking Jackson those questions about herself. Oh. My. God. I can't believe it. I thought the first few were strange (what food do I like, who is my best friend, etc.) but then: "How much do you love me?" "Could you live without me?"!!!! This is not okay. I personally think it's one of the worst things I've seen from these youtubing families.

Also: Maybe these youtubers know the ytmd site is finicky these days and are using the opportunity to post their most offensive content yet in hopes that they'll get fewer negative comments

Thank you Jared for leaving that clip in. We all deserved to see how Ellie treats you like shit. Watching that bump box clip freaking pained me. Her reaction towards him was like when a distant relative gives you a gift you really don’t want but you keep saying thank you...it was sooo awkward!!!
