Has anyone here ever had / known a toddler who speaks like Flynn does? I don't watch very many of her videos so maybe I just happened to only ever catch his really excited moments where he's kind of slur yelling.

My son will be 2 in August and is very similar. He has his own words for stuff "Daysh" is daddy shark, "pup pup" is pumpkin, etc. Flynn seems totally normal, and honestly quite smart. He was a little late on walking but he seems totally on point speech wise. It's normal for toddlers to freak out about stuff they really like. Children don't have impulse control until about age 4, so they can't control their excitement just yet.

Oh I didn't mean how he has his own words but how he kind of like moans them? It's hard to describe but again I don't watch that often so maybe there are other times where he's clearer.

I’m getting a little tired of her taking pregnancy tests for clickbait. If she doesn’t actually want to get pregnant again, she needs to use a more accurate form of protection. But I also think she secretly does want to get pregnant. I feel like it’s part of her identity to be the woman who hates pregnancy and had the worst imaginable pregnancy. I wish she would realize that it’s okay to change your mind.

This. She is so annoying. It’s like she isn’t a person anymore besides being a mom and hating pregnancy. I never liked her content, but at least she tried to be creative. Now she just tries to use Flynn in any way she can make money of him. Pathetic.

I agree with her low key wanting to be pregnant again. She's always said she would never be pregnant again but they definitely want more kids so she will adopt. I think she's changed her mind and actually wants more biological kids but doesn't want to admit it. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up "accidently pregnant soon, they clearly don't want to prevent it

I know a kid that talks like that. His mouth is just learning to form the words, it can take a little while to get the brain to send the right signals to the mouth/tongue. He seems to be getting a lot better overtime, the child I know had to go to speech therapy for it.

Edited to add - I don’t think a woman’s worth is tied to how many kids she has. It’s not that at all.
It just seems to be the B grade celebrity/YouTube star pattern.

I didn’t watch the video Colleen did with that doctor about her pregnancy but I’m really glad she got that validation from not only the doctor but people in the comments who could relate to her struggles. I hope her take away from this is that it is important to remember your audience when sharing certain experiences. Her young followers had nothing to contribute to the pregnancy conversation.

Same. Too juvenile. I find the friendship thing between the Ballingers in general & JoJo Siwa really weird as well - hasn't been shown at all recently because of the pandemic, but she is way too young to be friends with the adults, and way too old to be friends with the kids? I guess Bailey is closest to her age, but Bailey is really young for her age anyway? And Parker for know seems to have given up dressing in JoJo clothes etc? (on camera anyway)

This is my biggest issue with her! She always wants to “bring light” to certain topics or “stop the stigma” and talk about pretty serious topics. I’m not necessarily disagreeing with her that these things should be discussed more openly, but her viewers are children! Certain topics are simply not appropriate and some of her viewers may not be mature enough to handle certain bits of information. They simply do not have the critical thinking skills and life experience to put these things into perspective and process these scenarios in a healthy way.

I do think that Colleen’s over sharing comes from some internal struggles, though, so I do have empathy for that. She seems to be actively trying to better herself. I just worry that she’s involving children in her adult struggles.

I do too but I definitely feel for her. I can't imagine having to go through what her pregnancy was like. I really want her to have another kid. Flynn is too cute and sweet.
