It looked like an iPhone 5s. Maybe one of Cullen's old ones? I would imagine getting a phone would be a priority in re-entering society so she's able to apply for jobs, an apartment, set meetings with her parole officer, etc.

It's probably hers from before prison. I thought it was weird that Katie made a comment about Brooks seeing her before. Why try to pretend? I seriously doubt they took him to prison. Katie looks nervous enough with just Brittany around.

Could he have seen her FaceTime?

His sister is really loud. Katie looked very stand offish in the garage. I don’t say that lightly. I hope she was just being cautious because She did not want Brooks to get upset meeting a stranger.

This is the original version by Sam Hunt it’s worth a listen even if you aren’t into country music. It’s a groovy little song. I love it. I think it’s sweet that Cullen is using this song (basically it’s a sexy song about a man loving his girl’s body curves and all) with all the clips of Katie, but it’s not the most appropriate thing for an intro for a family vlog channel.

I remember there was a discussion here about whether or not to discuss her history because C&K don't bring it up. And I agreed at the time. But I figure she's fair game since she has her own vlogging channel, making her last name public. The records are really easy to find. She definitely has some issues. I am not perfect, so I can't throw stones for sure. I do hope she got her act together. For her sake as well as the family's.
The more I see that intro the less I like it. Especially starting with Katie shaking her butt and the "Body like a back road" lyric...
WHY didn't he hire professionals to do the tree?

What does "body like a back road" even mean? Lumpy and rough? Or as in something you know like that back of your hand?

It's that he knows it like the back of his hand. That's even in the song. It's all about sex. "Body like a back road, drive it with my eyes closed, I know every curve like the back of my hand". Which is great-- they're married, consenting adults. I'm glad if he thinks she's hot. But _I_ don't want to hear about it. Just like I don't want to think about him sneaking up on her in the tub with "sexy" music in the background. I just don't think a song about how much a guy loves his woman's curvy body is a good intro for a family vlog. That other song, "Easy to Love" I think it's called, suits them better. I know I am nitpicking. I'm sorry. Little things.

OK today's vlog was really sweet. I even started to tear up when Britney asked Gaines for another hug. I hope she's able to get back on her feet and do well.

It's interesting to watch it from our point of view knowing that she just got out of prison after years. She got to experience a hoverboard for the first time, she didn't seem to know what a bath bomb was, eat a funnel cake at a carnival for the first time in forever. I hope she takes her experience and realizes she now has a second chance at her life.

I haven’t even watched yet and this just made me tear up. I hope she is on a good path. I hope seeing what she has missed really hits home with her. She looks so much better (I saw her in Cullen’s insta last night). I’m so glad she’s home and now they can finally settle things with his father’s memorial. I think Cullen is really struggling with that right now. I think David’s Dad dying right before his sister coming home really opened up some raw wounds.

HAHAHA! Oops!y daughter loooooves him. She’s 12 and went to her first concert this summer.. it was him. Lol (he sings a lot of old school 90’s pop and hip hop covers, that part was a lot of fun. Lol)

I think I wouldn’t mind him as much if he would stop trying to be a country artist. In no way shape or form are any of his songs country. That and he talks through most of his songs. Country radio around here near Chicago is way different from stations in the south. They make already poppy country sound even poppier and it drives me crazy . Not what I want to hear if I’m going to listen to country. I can appreciate his good looks though!

she went to jail before Oct 2015. That seems like when was sentenced for the original crime. Gaines was a year old at that point. Brittany was in county jail when Cullen's dad died. That was in the spring of 2015? I remember she was in a few of the Target balling pics before Cullen's dad moved in.

And I really hope she doesn't start vlogging as an "easy" way to make money. Addicts need structure especially when they are first starting out. Boredom is a big enemy of sobriety. And it seems to be a pitfall of vloggers.

And she has definitely been in jail since 2015. So Brooks didn't see her before. Weird to lie about it. If they don't want to say anything that's fine. Just don't lie.

So glad I am not the only one who doesn't like that song on the intro. I liked the old one a lot. It suited them too. I love the "Body Like a Back Road" song. My daughter and I crank it up in my car. But it's definitely about sex, and starting with Katie shaking it and moving on to the babies makes for a weird vibe.

Exactly. I loooove the Sam Hunt version. Especially that line about "hips like honey, so thick and so sweet". And I think it's sweet that Cullen likes Katie's curves. But for a family vlog? And added to the tub footage from yesterday's vlog, it's like ewww.
On the positive side, Cullen's hair is looking much better lately... In the beginning of yesterday's vlog, I could actually see why people think he's cute. Until he started dicking around with the tree.

Oops, I hadn't seen the posts about not writing here about Britany. I know over on GG the It's Judy's Life thread is almost 50% posts about her BIL who also went to jail - but he also did some YT.

It is good to see her again. I hope she gets her life back on track. Could she be doing her work release at the high school? I don't see any other reason they'd revisit their old high school to do paperwork.

I wonder if she and her boyfriend were together before she was arrested??

She's in a work release program so I doubt vlogging qualifies as a valid job. I'm not sure how long that will last. It doesn't seem like she received any real time off of her sentence. The work release could be a condition of a plea deal. Anyways, for now she'll probably need to maintain a real job. I have to admit I would be interested in her vlogs. It would be a departure from the norm. I don't think C&K would be okay with that. Mostly Katie.
