I liked Abby and Shari's closet but Russell and Chad's closet made NO sense, she should have put the shelves on one side and put a top bar for Chad and a bottom bar for Russell, she totally wasted money on painting the closet too ( you can't even see inside)

Watching the 'have you ever..' game they played on new year's eve was so cringey. How an earth can Ruby not be embarrassed by how stupid she is? She couldn't even grasp the concept of the game and kept jumping up at the wrong time. She said she had been in a helicopter when she had actually been in a small plane..and that she had been to Disneyland Paris (Shari had to correct her).

There's nothing wrong with not being bright but why does she seem so...willfully ignorant? She has huge privilege, she could improve herself and her knowledge of the world so easily. She could probably even take free classes at BYU. But no, she can't even bring herself to take an interest or even encourage her daughter's interest in WW2 or pay any attention to her children's homework. I think Abby might have some learning issues but Ruby just sweeps it under the rug. Poor Russell's grammar is getting worse, not better. I hope that the family is not mentioning his difficulties or any help that they're seeking for him, out of concern for his privacy but i suspect it is actually because they're completely ignoring it.

Is it just me or have we watched Ruby reorganize those freaking closets like 10 times? I'm not a fan of the new shelves. It seems like something more could have been done to utilize the awkwardly shaped space better. It was funny how there were no longer shelves dedicated to pretty trinkets from relatives and old photos. The organizer probably informed them that is just dumb Chad's and Russell's closet makes literally no sense (you can see on intsagram)...you have to reach behind the giant shelves either way to get to the hanging clothes. Russell couldn't reach anything out of there if he wanted. But don't worry, there are 12 fancy baskets for everything imaginable. She makes no sense. I also found it interesting she calls the rooms Shari's room, Shari's closet, etc. Same for Chad. It's like it's their room and Abby and Russell are just visitors. I'd be annoyed if I was Abby and had that giant hedgehog cage taking up half the extra room they have. And no new closet for Julie and Eve?

I always said that Abby looks more like Kevin than Ruby (even though Ruby would like to think so because she considers Abby 'the pretty one') but guys have you seen sneek peak of that old photo of Kevin? They look exactly the same!

The boys' closet doesn't make any sense, how are they supposed to reach for their hanging clothes? And c'mon, they're boys... and I can guarantee that the space under the hangers will soon be one huge mess with some nastiness living inside

Did anyone notice that she spelt her own son's name wrong?! In the closet on the top shelf it says "Russel trinkets" (INCORRECT) and near the middle it says "Russell ski" (CORRECT). I hope the spelling of "Russel" was done by the other woman (who, by the way, smiled as if she was being held hostage by Ruby), but still... why wouldn't Ruby correct it and add the extra L?!

It could also just be low iron or full blown anemia. In a child I wouldn't necessarily assume liver troubles right away in an otherwise healthy kid.. in a adult maybe, but not a little kid. Anemia is much more likely with persistent dark under eye circles.. they seem to eat mostly carbs (and not good carbs like brown rice or quinoa but mostly white bread, pancakes, desserts and treats). They definitely do not eat enough vegetables, fibre or good-quality protein. They do eat some chicken and beef occasionally but never seem to eat fish.

I’m 30 and constantly have dark circles and I’m perfectly healthy! Sometimes people just have that sort of colour! Or maybe she’s not getting enough sleep? I wouldn’t be racing to the doctors for dark circles I’d get laughed out of there!

Ruby is so stupid! She loves nothing more than being obtuse. Anyone in this day and age that can't comprehend the mattress tags and the ending words "ONLY BY CONSUMER" and still not know what that means and thinks it's illegal, doesn't deserve to be in charge of children.

I don’t think she’s as dumb as she lets on. She’s by no means intelligent, but I think she plays up the dumb and ditzy schtick to be “cute” and a “cool mom” for the vlogs.

I do have to give props to Ruby for trying to help Julies channel grow with this giveaway thing. Ruby isn't going to gain much from doing it and God know Ellie and Jared were never much help when Ruby was a smaller channel. So I am glad to see someone in the family actually be supportive of a sibling.

Why didn't he have to buy them? Let's see, that's gloves and shoes in the same week. Didn't they just organize his closet? Why weren't the lost tennis shoes wondered about then? How can a perfectly organized house lose a pair of shoes? I am still not over how he was just whining they are lost buy him more and she is like OK I will buy you more. No, well go look for them?

The way he overreacts and screeches sends me running to turn down the volume.

i have Chronic Anemia and low blood pressure and I have no dark circles. its either diet, lack of sleep, or genetics. random topic to discuss lol

I've seen the other siblings cover their ears and cringe when Russell is shrieking in multiple videos. Can't someone tell that kid to calm down?

I wish I could be a fly on the wall in that house. I'm 100% convinced Russell's screaming is only for the camera. I bet when they aren't vlogging he's much more calm. There is no way he does that at school or church.

He may not even realize he's doing it.


Also, she said that he's been wearing the snow boats everyday, so who knows how long the sneakers had been missing. The fact that she just quickly bought new ones, tells me that she knew they were long gone.

And what happened to the budget she was on? Less food for the whole family, but new Nordstrom shoes for a 6yr old? Why couldn't he just get cheap ones for once.
