Oh my gosh. Come on guys. Shanna and Ruby were never actually friends. They were cordial and nice to one another because of the kids. Did you ever have friends growing up that their parents were friends with yours and once your friendship fizzled out or drifted apart so did theirs? They are completely different people.

Shanna doesn’t tear down her kids self-esteem and make them feel absolutely worthless. Shanna doesn’t allow her kids to bully one another, she doesn’t tell them their hair can’t look a certain way. She doesn’t allow Kesley to pick on the other kids. When I look at the LeRoys they genuinely seem like a happy loving family. The Frankes... they all look miserable and like they hate each others.

So why collab with a family like that? It's not like the relationship with Chad grew out of them hanging out a lot. It was orchestrated by Shanna and Ruby for views. For money. Same with shipping Rhett and Abby Franke. They're 11 years old. And the whole hypocrisy behind "you can't date until you're 16, but you can have a boyfriend/girlfriend if it gets views" is just so wrong. Doing the collab with Annie Leblanc was weird because it's not like they are friends or go to school together. Surprised she didn't try to ship Rhett and Hayley Leblanc.
Of course they look like a happy family. Not saying that they aren't actually, but they post edited videos of their lives. They control what we see.
You can dress it up any way you want, but (and I know I keep repeating myself, but nobody has explained it away) they still exploit their kids for money. And the kids _can't_ consent. The little ones don't understand, and they're all minors to begin with.

Hey now! I’m not saying they don’t exploit their children for $$. They 100% do. I’m just saying that Ruby and Shanna are never and were never friends.

I think that Kesley and Chad genuinely liked one another and their Moms ruined it. I think that Shanna paid for and did all of the nice things for Chads birthday because Kesley genuinely liked him. I think when it came down to reality they realized they are completely different people. All Mormon but still completely different.

Yes I know Shanna has dark hair, what I am saying is she has spent months trying to get rid of the dark and have blonder hair. But then she just gave up on that and went back darker. Yeah maybe she just decided she didn't like the lighter look on her, I just found it weird that it coincided with when Kesley wanted to go darker.

Yes, you're welcome to express your opinion. But can you just refrain from slamming other posters? Yes, I realize it's hypocrisy to slam Shanna and then ask that you express your opinion without calling other posters nuts, hateful, and some of the other terms that have been tossed around. We haven't insulted you for your opinions. If we wanted to be attacked for seeing things differently, we would post on the vlogs. The vloggers don't have to read here. And most of us have given up on even offering constructive criticism, because we'll get told simplistic things like "that's nuts" . "If you don't like it, don't watch" (actually I don't-- my daughter does) "they can do what they want to!" And my personal favorite, "They're the parents. They know best" which if was really true all the time, would mean that CPS wouldn't be needed!

On to other things: are they at all concerned about Rhett's spelling? In that video with Bratayley, he was unable to spell pretty simple words. I would be working with him, and certainly not putting it in a video for lots of strangers to see. Or do they not care about spelling in Utah? Olivia Hoelleins has horrific spelling too. Certainly not up to grade level.
And what was the big deal about walking around in Las Vegas at night? They were in a family group, and walking around the Strip. It's not _that_ unsafe. And the youngest pouting and crying because she didn't get her wish wasn't cute. Leaving it in the vlog was rewarding her for it.

Anyway, why was Shanna SO excited about going to Famous Birthdays? Every vlogger who goes to LA has to go there. The fangirling over Famous Birthdays and collabing with Annie Leblanc was a bit OTT. I get being excited about Great Wolf. That's fun for a family. But going to Famous Birthdays and getting your picture taken? BFD. And "all our friends are meeting us at Great Wolf"? Are they only friends with vloggers now?

She needs to back off the Botox. Why are women so afraid of a few wrinkles? She didn't have a lot of them. Her face doesn't move. I just don't understand why so many young women are getting Botox so early. Nobody knows what the long term effects of using it are.

I'm not saying everyone should agree with what I'm saying; I'm just voicing my opinion. It's been like walking on pins and needles in this thread. I've kept my distance for a while, and I may continue to do so depending on what's to come in here. No matter what anyone says, some people are completely attacking the posters, calling names, and ranting so much over something that isn't that deep! We all are not going to agree, but don't bring out your claws! There must be an underlying reason to be that mad! Seriously. If they were "successful" like say, my best friend who went to law school and worked her ass off for years and is now making (in her own words) "obscene amounts of money to scare doctors", I would be cheering. Or my sister and aunt who got PhDs and teach at universities.
I don't call videotaping your children, invading their privacy, coming up with titles that make people believe something dramatic is happening, and sucking up to bigger vloggers, "successful".
