And of course in that Post she had to zero in on the headband falling on the floor instead of her daughter pulling herself into a standing position. Nice way to show where her priorities are!

I don’t have kids yet but if I have a daughter and someone tries to put a bow on her tiny newborn head in the hospital I’m throwin hands.
Just kidding but I hate the trend (is it a trend? I feel like it’s not a new thing) of putting tiny bows on newborn heads that don’t even have any hair just because they’re a girl and you need to tell they’re a girl. I hate being uncomfortable and I am NOT an accessory person myself. I can’t imagine being a brand new human coming out of my comfy womb and immediately being glammed up because it’s “cute.” Like just keep your baby warm in clothes! They don’t need all the extra shit yet. It looks stupid in my opinion seeing a bow sitting on a nearly bare head too lol.
Sorry I’m ranting, mainly for newborn ages. Rachelle has had tons of bows for Emma at every age and stage and I hate it tbh. And they’re clearly not the right size which is the main issue.

Ok, WHAT household income? I would hardly call YT a salary.. it’s more like commission based on how many views they have. She’s saving 15% on something that doesn’t have a steady income?

I agree, the bows are so people would stop asking her how old is her baby boy I reckon. but I’m glad she stopped with the turbans..opangatay wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 6:48 am I don’t have kids yet but if I have a daughter and someone tries to put a bow on her tiny newborn head in the hospital I’m throwin hands.

The way she’s forcing Emma to pull up in things is not normal, you’d encourage your baby to do new things, howeverevery time Emma pulls herself up Rachelle just yanks her back to sitting so she can do it again and again.. that baby sounds so frustrated already with her mother.
The ‘lunging forward at us’ as Rach likes to call it is her baby trying to get to her for a cuddle... but again Rach just plonked her back down so she can perform for the camera.
One more thing, (who knew I had so many?! ) is this “Emma won’t crawl” BS. “just wants to stand!” Guess what momma, if you actually sat in front of your child, facing her and talking to her and mimicking her sounds and movements, dare I say out of camera shot (imagine that! Shocker!) your baby will make all the effort to get to you, and will crawl. She’s already showing signs by lunging forward.
Anyways, no telling her. She’s an expert. After all she taught at preschool.

Forgot to add: Rach, give your baby a break, a cuddle, take her on a walk. Her life shouldn’t be a fucking BABY BOOTCAMP!

Re: Rachelle, Justin and Baby Shrek | Rachelle and Justin | Part 14
I don't understand the obsession with people wanting their kids to skip crawling. My baby was a mover, and I remember so many people saying "oh she's going to skip crawling". (she didn't. She crawled. Gasp!" I would think to myself, why do I want her to skip crawling? 1) it's necessary for proper development, and 2) why would I want my baby to start running around and causing havoc sooner than necessary? She wound up walking at 10.5 months. And I still feel we got jipped a few months of a baby that doesn't get into everything! Hahaha!
Anyway, Ive noticed this quite a bit with YouTube moms. Or moms in general maybe. But they view it as a bragging thing if their kid skips crawling. They ALLLLLWAYS say it, like crawling is so beneath their advanced baby. Guess what. Chances are your kid WILL crawl. Just like all the other average babies. I know know, it's hard hearing your baby is completely average, Rash.

Forcing her to sit after standing will teach her that she doesn’t want Emma to stand.

When I was growing up, everyone had a friend or schoolmate who was chubby. They were always the target of jokes and sometimes being bullied. PE was horrible for them because of their weight and always the locker room. Emma will soon be off formula and can join them at the table. I hope Rach and Justin will learn to prepare good fresh meals, cut out the processed foods and eating out. It will be better for all of them. Ok everyone.....I'm the one who caught hell for the fat baby post. Let me see if I can explain myself....or open my mouth and stick the other foot in. I'm sure you'll let me know....as you should.
I sincerely apologize for having sounded like I was picking on Emma. That was not my point....although I agree it sounded like it. First off, I was mortified at that photo of Emma with...Aaron??? Poor child looked like she didn't know if she should laugh or cry. Emma is a chubby baby...but also appears as if she will be tall. Her feet hung way down her cousin's legs, who looked like he had a death grip on her. I guess I'm saying why would you do that to your baby??? She appears terribly uncomfortable with him wrapped under her arms like that.
Shit....I had a point but now I cannot remember what it was.
Rach is always saying Em is actually small. No she's not, and that's ok. They talk about being healthy, but they eat out A LOT. Emma will eventually join them in this junk food fest, and it won't be good for her either.
And they are incessantly picking at her! Tickling her chins, squeezing her cheeks, grabbing her tummy. Can't they ever leave that baby alone to just "be"?
Ok...well those are my thoughts and how I got it all twisted around, I don't know.
30 lashes with a wet noodle for me.
I do, however profoundly apologize because I started out really shocked at the photo. Happy Sunday all!

I agree about the child’s college fund. But she is following Ramsey’s baby step system. The earlier you start saving for retirement the richer your going to be when you retire. As little as $100 a month invested at 22 will turn into a million by the time you retire at around 65.Haulnarse wrote:And wouldn’t it be better to be saving primarily for a house, not college for your 1yr old and your distant retirement??cupcakezzzzz wrote:Invest in retirement? I am honestly disgusted at this post. If you want to talk shit about a grown adults weight, fine. I’m overweight, come at me. But don’t ever criticize a child for their weight that they have absolutely no control over.

Yes her parents eat like shit but saying a literal infant needs to lose weight once she starts walking is quite frankly disgusting in my book. She’s not even one year old, we’ve no idea what she’ll look like a year from now, let alone when she starts school. We don’t know what growth spurts she’ll have or how they’ll affect her height/weight

Remind me if I am remembering incorrectly, but does her story on how they got the cash for IVF keep changing?
There is also no way they are on baby step #5. They will never buy a house in Cali with the way they shit away money.

In their full Infertility/Stillbirth/etc journey video they said they used the rest of the money from her college fund and that it covered IVF “almost to the dime.” She does mention it differently sometimes but I think she’s just bad at explaining things lol. I think the bottom line is that they used the rest of her college money funded by her grandparents to do IVF. Which is a whole other can of worms that we’ve barely talked about lmao.
Speaking of, does anyone know roughly how much each extra “trying for a baby” will cost them now? My understanding is that the majority of the cost is right in the beginning for egg retrieval and all the initial medical stuff which was where the 20k was spent. Moving forward they have to mainly pay for the cost of medications and what else? I’m just curious about the process. I think she’s mentioned it’s probably going to be 3-5k more each time they try again? I’m just imagining how much faster they’d be able to save for a house if they.. didn’t have another baby right now.

Crawling is a really important stage. I don’t know why people are in such a rush to skip it. It helps create connections between the left and right side of the brain

Rachelle only wants Emma to skip crawling and walk because Keren's baby, Sutton, beat Emma to it and in Rachelle's mind, Emma is much better than Sutton or any other baby. Therefore, Emma has to just skip to walking since crawling is for "less advanced babies".

I’m so fucking over Rachelle and her need to capatilize of her daughter getting hurt or being “ill”. I’m over it, please everyone report the fucking video.
