Wow... she is a dummy. They do not explain or teach her anything. I fault the parents. Totally. She did speak better today, but it’s always enforced “you are so cute” ugh.

They're teaching her that her only role in life is decorative. And she isn't even as cute as they keep telling everyone she is. I am hoping spending more time with Madi will rub off on her. But they better hope she marries someone who can afford help, because Mindy isn't even teaching her how to run a household. And who can afford name brand everything. Getting Doc Martens for a 5 year old is just ridiculous.

It only took a whole year away from school- but making that paper chain with Hazy is the most academic thing she's ever done at home- counting, patterning, fine motor rolling and stapling - I'm shocked.

Brandens sugar addiction actually disgusts me. How do they expect to be good role models to their children when they themselves act like 4 year olds? LDS don’t consume things like alcohol and coffee but they can eat as much carcinogenic sugar as they want? I have a sweet tooth too but they are just on another level. You don’t have to have desert every day......

And what is ironic is that the tome that the "no caffeine, no alcohol, no smoking" rules came from is about keeping your body pure and wholesome for God. You're also supposed to limit red meat and eat lots of fruit and vegetables and legumes.
But it certainly seems that at least the Utah LDS vloggers make up for no alcohol and no coffee with plenty of sugar. And they drink those nasty "dirty Dr. Pepper" drinks, and have drinks that are sugary sodas mixed with sugary coffee creamer Image
So gross... And red wine and green tea are healthier for you than the sodas they guzzle.
What I can't get over is their obsession with cotton candy flavored anything.

Or eating frosting straight out of the jug...... it’s PURE sugar. I feel like Madi wants to be healthy but when she’s home there’s not many options and she indulges in things like that. They eat and drink absolute trash and seem to think that’s better than tea and coffee... I wonder what the diabetes stats look like for LDS bcz honestly I don’t get how more of them aren’t pre-diabetic.
Cotton candy is good once a year at a state fair, not on a random Tuesday afternoon. I feel like they eat normal food just so they can reward themselves with desert. I get sugar cravings like once a week but it’s super unhealthy to eat as much sugar as they do.

Imagine if one of the kids actually had type 1 diabetes? They’d never be able to change their diets.

My pet peeve is Mindy not even offering vegetables to her kids because she didn't like them. "I turned out just fine". Maybe they would like veggies if they had a chance to try them.

She's only in her 30s. How does she know she turned out fine?
She may find she is eating those words in 20 years or so time if she is diagnosed with a major illness directly linked to poor diet. eg bowel cancer, fatty liver disease, type 2 diabetes, heart disease etc.

ETA I wonder if she has ever connected the dots between her kid's excessive dental work and their crap diet. Cavities in preschoolers can be the result of poorly formed enamel - typically found in ex prems who were given anti-biotics in the NICU. It's the exception not the norm though. As far as I know her kids were all born at term so it is unlikely it would apply to them. Any dental issues her kids have are almost certainly due to poor diet and not genetics. That alone should make her sit up and reflect on what she is feeding the kids.

She and Branden blame "genetics". They also claim that there is nothing they can do about their children's dental hygiene. They literally shrug and say "what can you do?"

Ummm. You can make sure your children brush their teeth with fluoridated toothpaste. You can get your kids' teeth sealed. They are such morons.

It's pure ignorance. The major food companies love people like the Binghams.

Making your 12-year-old go to bed at 7:45 so Mommy can check out for the day as a parent? So selfish. There is no reason that a child that age could not stay up for a couple more hours unsupervised. But no, Mommy control freak makes an adolescent go to bed before 8 pm along with the overindulged 5 -year-old toddler princess.

What motivation is this kid going to have to continue all of the extra chores he does just to be helpful? More maturity needs to be rewarded with more privilege. You can't expect a kid to babysit his siblings, only to be shooed of to bed with them before dark so lazy parents can be lazy in their Tempur-Pedic.

I imagine part of the reason he has to go to bed so early is to make it easier to get the Bad Seed out of their hair for the night. Heaven forbid anyone have a privilege before Princess Hellspawn does.

The matching clothes with madie and hazy is so creepy and embarrassing. As stepmother myself mindy's relationship with Maddie is so off, she so controlling and possessive. It comes off really insecure. Because she is a girl she's forced to spend all her time with her psychotic stepmom and her spoilt prize poddle rather than her dad and brothers. Everyone praises their relationship but it isn't normal at all. Brandon is a good father their is absolutely no need for mindy to take over.

I totally agree about the matchy-match outfits. What 18 year old wants to match her stepmom and 5 year old sister?
Branden is a fun dad, but if he was a good dad he would stand up for Madi and create some space for their relationship. He was obviously excited to have her coming to school in Utah, but Mindy just horns in on everything. But he's perfectly happy to exploit Madi for views, just like his other kids.

It’s not right that Maddie gets stuck managing the princess brat all the time, especially on vacations. I’m sure the boys would love to hang out and do things with her but Mindy is fixated on managing their relationship. She really needs to back off and stop pushing the sisters in matching outfits shit, it’s manipulative and controlling.
