Re: Tweedletee10
I think there was a little snafu.. I mean class of 87 as in BORN in 87. Her channel pearly something something had even her birth year in it.
Probably in the US (or/and Canada) class of..just means when you graduate.. sorry, I didn't think of that.
Usually when I say "class of..." I mean birth year.

Has she said what she's having? I know weeks backs she said they know the gender. Or is she pulling a bit of a Lucy?

Re: Tweedletee10
I think she's milking the pregnancy for everything she can since she announced it so late and has not made videos in a while. Aka 15 part birth story after James is already over a year old.
She has not mentioned a gender yet. She also posted a video today and in the description box mentioned this may be her last pregnancy because of something her midwife said. She also said she will mention that in another video.

I find her intro awkward. I was embarassed for her watching it. She is pretty and dressed cute and has an adorable belly but it was just way too sensual and I just felt uncomfortable watching it.

Re: Tweedletee10
O.k. any cloth diaper moms know what she is talking about. If it stinks, why is she putting it on her baby?
If she wants to cd and is having another baby. Isn't it good investment to buy the diapers she likes?

She never used the service she talked about. Now she says she couldn't cd because of problems with the house. Then changed cd's. That stink really bad afer she washes them.

Re: Tweedletee10
Oh I thought she used it while she was living with her dad.
The stink could be as simple as stripping and switching detergents or even getting a water softener. It's all trial and error when it comes to cd's.

Re: Tweedletee10
Agree. It's trial and error. I found that I hated synthetic materials for diapers. Switched to organic cotton/bamboo fitteds with wool covers and loved it. I have some fleece but I just wash it in tide with some ACV, triple rinse, skip the mrs. Meyers softener.

Re: Tweedletee10
But she isn't trying. She said she puts stinking diapers on him. Doesn't want to spend extra money and wants to quit. Which I saw coming. They seem to live in filth and chaos. Not a good setting to keep up with CD washing.

Re: Tweedletee10
She was not a super advocate for CD (as I recall), so this isn't strictly about her. But it cracks me up SO MUCH when people are so hard on their rules and judge those who do differently ... until for some reason they themselves need to consider an option that they never thought they wanted. AH AH AH AH AH
I'm so waiting for the time when Jessica is going to use formula because her fourth baby is going to be either lactose intolerant (so you should check your diet) or --- scandal --- she's not going to have supply. LOL
I think going with CD is great it's always something that saves money. But it requires a little extra effort and sometimes it's really not the thing that works best for you.

Re: Tweedletee10
My other account has been deactivated, so for any mod wishing to link them you may as I'm not trying to hide anything here.
Flossy I never said I wasn't trying so I don't know where you're getting your information from. I never said I didn't use the service. I never said I wanted to quit. And I didn't stop cd. It's odd that you actually spend your time TRYING to make me look bad to people who don't watch my videos. You claim you're a mother of two teenagers and a one year old, with all the maturity in the world, yet you come on a gossip site to continually lie about moms much younger than you. Everyone, that is, except K-----. Funny right after K----- didn't like something on my Facebook someone who really loves her but hates every other YouTube mom comes on here and makes an account just to start a thread on me and slanders at least twenty other girls ten plus years younger than herself daily. Regardless of if you're a fan of hers who actually is older or K----- herself, I don't see why you go out of your wayto try and make me look bad. You want to tell the truth go for it...but you come n here and blatantly lie about things I've said.
Regarding cloth diapers, I DID have a diaper service. Comfy cotton in north Toronto. For a month and a half to two months. But I was washing my own cloth wipes, covers, etc, so I felt that it was silly not to get my own prefolds and wash them to. I cancelled the service. So saying that I never used the diaper service is silly/a lie. And if you're trying to make me look bad why not say that I did and do still use it? Lazy little tweedledumb, can't wash her own diapers. Just seems more like you with all of the name calling you do,
I had my own diapers and washed my own diapers and used a disposable at night until James was five months old. The
N we ditched the disposable because we got some larger night time covers and double stuffed.
We bought the alvas, bgs, and other all in twos when he grew out of size one covers, before we moved. We were using those for months before we moved and there are many pictures of him in them on the Internet from our old house.
When we moved we neither had problems with the house that caused us to switch, nor did we switch diapers. We simply didn't have a working washing machine for a month and I felt it was rude to wash them at a small town laundromat. Call me crazy but I wouldn't want to know someone put their poo where my clothes were going.
The washer got hooked up two weeks before Christmas and we went right back to the same pocket diapers. I have been stripping them almost weekly to get rid of the musty smell since long before that, as I noted in the video and comments.
I said twice in the video that I did not want t stop and would not stop cloth diapering, but that I wanted opinions on wether or not it was possible to become passionate abut it again. In fact, before the end, TWICE, I said that I was gong t follow up in three weeks and let everyone know if I did one of these two options: kept continually plugging away with my same routine of constantly stripping my diapers every week and using the same ones if I couldn't fine the love in cding anymore, OR if people said that its a passing phase, buying all new diapers consistent with the set that I had lots of luck with and loved before James grew out of them.
Just because you come on here and claim that you were right and I was quitting does not make that so and anyone who does anything more than take your word for the truth would know that.
Also, you saw a vlog of us renovating our kitchen and continually claim that we live in chaos, yet also claim all of your. Lies based on the fact that you have seen other vlogs. Rewind your life thirteen years to when you claim you just started your family and tell me if you were living in a mansion that you bought just how you wanted it and never had to do any work on it. We're a young couple married for under two years in our early twenties. No matter what life throws at us we've been handling it decently well, I'd say. Two houses that we fixed up ourselves and raised the value of drastically, a stay at home mom of soon to be two kids, our own car, and never having our son go without. Yet all you mention when you can't come up wih anything is that when we were renovating, by hand by OURSELVES, our SECOND HOUSE in a year, the house was messy. Gosh, you need a medal for your skills in observation and great journalistic approach to writing.
If I quit cloth diapering tomorrow I would tell people. Why? Because many moms do and I don't think it's fair to make them feel alone and penalized as if they didn't give it their best go. You do what you can as a mother to make your life and your kids life easier. If that means using disposables, you do it. Because you're not made a mother to suffer or to watch your kid suffer. And unlike you I want women to feel like they're ding the right thing as a mom, and that every other woman's life is not perfect and glamorous and easier than theirs. That we all struggle the same and their feelings and decisions are okay. I don't spend my time putting other moms down for decisions they made or decisions that I lie about them making.
I typed all of this on an iPad lying in bed as I'm sick. If you have no other lies to spread or things to say please feel free to tear me apart for my random punctuation and spelling mistakes. And feel free to directly quote things I've said from videos with a time code if you're really so fixated on telling lies.
P.s. James has a pajama made of synthetic material that he's never pooped or peed in and it also smells a bit funky. He wears it when his other pajamas are in the wash. *gasp!!*

Re: Tweedletee10
Ugh renovating! Going through it myself! My house is rather chaos as well. Two bedrooms are still being done, so in my main bedroom I have some of the things from those rooms in mine! Don't even start with the shed. For a while one of my spare rooms was a mans shed. Meaning bits and bobs and tools and everything you can think of was placed in that darn room.
James is clearly a happy kid an I can't exactly see you being the type to let him play with a power saw or anything like that. Congrats on two houses! Just one is enough for me LOL.
Ps. When will your gender reveal vid be out?

First week of February. There is over two feet of snow outside of our house and I can't think of anything fun or creative to do inside for the video.VolcomCherry wrote:Ugh renovating! One house is enough for me too. But Alex had to transfer back to Toronto to work and so our options were to live at family's, get an apartment, buy another house, or stay without Alex four days a week. And this house came on the market the first day we looked...they hadn't even put a sign up yet when we viewed it. In hindsight, it would have been easier to rent. I'm looking into how much we've raised the value of the house since three months ago because I'd rather live in an apartment five minutes from Alex's current job than live an hour away anyways. Owning houses isn't all its cracked up to be, yet people make young couples feel like its the be all and end all of life lol.
Plus the day Alex gets transferred to the country we are out of here, and if the house doesn't sell right away well be paying two mortgages. Which would be lame.
Maybe I am jumping the gun wanting to leave this house though because its winter and I hate going outside.

Paying two mortgages is hard! We did that last year. I don't blame you for moving at all especially since the last place rented out! So are you still an hours away from his work?
I guess if you don't mind renting again and are able to sell this place then go for it? Canadas market sounds a hell of a a lot better than where I'm from!
From what I've sent on the news and and what not Canada looks blistering cold!!! I'd be cooped up inside all the time. Plus I'd hate to drive in snow!
Sooooo antsy to see your gender video. Really keeping us on our toes lol. I just want to know like ... Yesterday haha.
Hope you're keeping well.

Yeah we're an hour away. Plus everyone who lives in our area works in Toronto so its more than an hour with traffic. I'd just almost rather rent an apartment where we can spend more time with him and he isn't gone 12 hours a day. But we're talking about it.VolcomCherry wrote:Paying two mortgages is hard! Canada's housing market is crazy. It's just going up and up. I don't even understand how people are going to afford places close to work in a few years unless they make over 100k a year. In our area now a new development went up and it was completely sold out before they finished building. The builder said that he'd never had that happen in over 25 years. But places are getting so expensive that people are willing to drive for hours to own one, silly, if you ask me. I can't wait to move back to our little slice of heaven far from the city and commutes and all of that.

Yeah, sure. I remember that video, I watched it like seconds after I found a sort-of parody on YT about super-crunchy-never-crunchy-enough ss and it made me laugh.grandscheme wrote:sleep84 wrote:She was not a super advocate for CD (as I recall), so this isn't strictly about her.
