How about a trip to Idaho and their old stomping grounds? Get to know B's family better. Something DIFFERENT.

Baby means views .... means cash! Doesnt matter if their friends have a 3 weeks old baby... they need money!

And my second thought is: E&J's channel grew up so fast since Calvin is born, look at their subscribers.... so B&M might be jealous (subscribers mean money money!)

Anyway... your reaction was exactly mine when I saw them in E&J's vlog today!

For those saying they should have just said no. I hate that mentality! Some of us were raised to be polite. So polite in fact that we don't know how to say no. It sucks. Sorry, but if you know your bestfriends are the type to let you try and make a baby in their bed while they (pregnant and all) sleep on the floor, then I'm pretty sure you know you can take advantage of them in just about every way and they won't say much. B&M are taking advantage, and shame on them for imposing and putting E&J in the position of having to say "no".

I'm worried this is going to burn Ellie out, because it won't be just a few quick visits from the sloths... they will take over their lives!

I feel like Bryan probably talked to Jared about visiting and Jared said "I don't know, man. I don't think ellie is ready to host guests with the baby being so new. He hasn't been sleeping well" and Bryan said "oh don't worry, we'll stay in a hotel!" Jared says "okay... Let me talk with ellie..." Next thing you know Bryan has booked the flight. I definitely think Bryan's trying to tap into some of those new subs. I could see family flying in to see a new mom and baby, but not internet friends.

That's not even an excuse though. Jared and Ellie are grown adults. If they can't even say no to having guests, then they need to grow a backbone a bit. I'm all for hospitality and politeness - but there's a point where you need to draw a line.
I got the impression Ellie and Jared wanted them there.

I'm sure they'd like to see their friends, but not necessarily have them take over their home and bed. They could be expecting to hang out a bit everyday, but they could end up with them staying late, letting their kid beat on Jackson and being expected to either cook for them or go out 3 x a day for dinner.

I'm thinking they said they were coming to town anyway to look for a house.

They're staying in a hotel though. I really think it's not that serious. I think, despite what we want to believe, that Ellie and Jared actually like Bryan and Pissy. They probably wanted them to come and meet Calvin.

When they mentioned at the end of their vlog that B&M's visit was short noticed, I could see it in their faces that this was not what they expected. Like they were driven into a corner. After B&M go back home and not move to Utah (or Portland), I think we will see even more of a distant relationship between the two families and a closer one between E+J and Samika/Trixin fam.

Driven into a corner? I don't think you guys are giving E&J much credit here. Yeah, they're nice people, but they aren't children. They can say no if they don't want company.
I'm sure it was kind of short notice, but at least B&M are staying in a hotel. They aren't intruding, really. And if they're there to look at houses, that's something they can do on their own. And it's a 100% true statement that B&M can help out with Calvin. Having a newborn is tons of work. The more hands the better!

Ellie and Jared have a backbone, you guys lol. I hate B&M as much as you, but you guys are painting a pretty awful portrait of them right now.

I completely disagree that having people over is extra help. Having someone come over and help cook and clean... Sure. Having someone come over and hold your baby while you cook and clean... Absolutely not. Not to mention, not everyone would WANT that help. Im pretty she if Ellie wanted and would accept help, her mom would have stayed longer than an afternoon, or her sister Ruby would be there. I highly doubt Bryan and Missy would be at the top of their list to help when they themselves can't watch Ollie most days without help. They watch the same vlogs we do!

Maybe I'm projecting though. I have a 7 month old and just went through the exhaustion of having a new baby and tons of people wanting to come and see him when all I really wanted to do was nap when he napped and not "visit".
