No shit!!!! Especially if you KNOW you'll be having more children, especially close together, you keep the things! I've kept everything but monkey shit people got me. People LOVE to get monkey things for babies. Not a fan at all. Ironically, Missy's fave!Acbsktbll wrote:What the hell did they do with the stuff from Ollie?? Lol its not like she had him 5 years ago.

Re: DailyHelpFromMimi - Part 30
She did buy a new chair recently for Oliver's room because her other one broke. I don't understand why she can't just use that one. Even if she does still rock Ollie I'm sure she could have used the same chair to rock both of them. Just another reason to waste money.az2639 wrote:Didn't they just it a new chair for the babies room? I might be wrong but I thought for sure they did...if so, now they are buying a NEW chair and furniture. So they will have two cribs, when Oliver's crib could've gone to the new baby since he's 2 years old and should be in a toddler bed. And I'm so over the babies name. And STILL haven't heard Missy express any kind of like e for the baby. She says she's excited that things are moving forward...excited to do the nursery...but not excited to have her baby boy in her arms. CAN'T. STAND. HER.

And they could use a lot of old clothes since they are both born around the same time(as in seasons). Right? I don't have babies but I figure
Re: DailyHelpFromMimi - Part 30
Soooooo based on today's vlog, my guess is that, they had views on a house they didn't got.
I mean seriously, not even 3 weeks ago, Missy said she won't buy anything in case they will move, she had everything for the first few months.
Last week, all of a sudden she was thinking about theme and colours.
Today, she is buying furniture and has absolutely everything in mind.
Oh and Bryan... put a shirt on please.

I know this was a couple pages back but I'm behind so my bad...however, being concerned about a child's genitalia is extremely disturbing to me. Why is it ANYONE else's business??? IT'S NOT!!!

Because it matters for the same reason female circumcision is a problem in other countries. But nah I'm not gonna start a debate lolSomeoneNew2 wrote:I know this was a couple pages back but I'm behind so my bad...however, being concerned about a child's genitalia is extremely disturbing to me. Just the opinion of an internet stranger. Don't take anything personally, for your own sake as well as mine.

I still feel like if it's not your child, it's not your concern and making it your problem is very disturbing and sick! I don't care to get into a debate or argument with anyone about it. Your opinion means nothing to me just the same as mine probably does to you. So go ahead and get upset about what the Lanning-Hollister's do with their child's penis and continue to think that's OK. And I'll continue to think you have severe issues with someone else's genitalia.

No one had a problem with what M&B chose circumcision wise, it was Missy's holier than thou, crunchy, I know so much on this topic but I really don't attitude during her circumcision video. I honestly think people who make videos like that in the first place are missing a screw or two. Nobody cares what you choose to do with YOUR child's private areas. If you're a new mother with questions or concerns, why would you watch a video by a random idiot on YT who doesn't even look like she's over 15? You read books. You ask professionals. You research - you don't watch Missy spew her ignorance.SomeoneNew2 wrote:Deadhead_kay wrote:Because it matters for the same reason female circumcision is a problem in other countries. DailyHelpFromMimi - Part 30
I had to go back and see if there was some kind of heated debate I missed here, because your a little OTT. The video was minorly discussed.... no one was here pushing an agenda. A couple of us said it wasn't a common practice in our countries, which is true.SomeoneNew2 wrote:Deadhead_kay wrote:Because it matters for the same reason female circumcision is a problem in other countries. Even Missy said herself, a large part of why people choose to snip is tradition. Tradition isn't always a good thing (like in DKs female circ comment) and sometimes it takes debate/discussion/education to bring about change.
That's why people talk about it.
If someone on YT pierced their one month old's ears, wouldn't that be discussed?
It's a Gossip Board...we talk about the vids. That was a vid. No one was here debating pros/cons in general

Re: DailyHelpFromMimi - Part 30
Why does it feel like when they announce the baby's name and nursery theme, it won't be as much such big deal? I feel like they are going to give this baby such a plain name, and knowing Missy this baby will most likely have another monkey themed nursery.
Re: DailyHelpFromMimi - Part 30
It'll be another animal. Sorta like how e&j have an animal for each of their sons. B&m can't do anything unique.hannahbanana wrote:Why does it feel like when they announce the baby's name and nursery theme, it won't be as much such big deal? Re: DailyHelpFromMimi - Part 30
Hey everyone, I just discovered this forum and I had to put my thoughts in. I unsubscribed to Daily Bumps a few months back, because I could not stand Bryan and Missy anymore. They spend, spend, and spend, and it drove me crazy. They are always shopping, going to restaurants, buying the latest electronics, going on trips, etc. I thought until now that I was the only one who didn't like them, since I posted once that they are big spenders and everyone was quick to defend them. I think that it upsets me that they spend so much is because they barely have to work for their lavish lifestyle. I think that they don't realize that normal people actually have to WORK for what they've got. They do nothing but make videos all day. I also find that they are extremely arrogant, and it's getting worse and worse as they get bigger. Even when I first discovered them at 60,000 subs they acted as though they were celebrities.
I also think that Oliver and their other future children are going to end up being very self entitled as they get older, and they will end up being like their parents.
Also, does anyone else think that Bryan may be bisexual? I have this vibe from him that he may not be totally straight
Anyways, I think in fifteen or twenty years they will lose their fame and they will have to face the hard reality that they have to work like everyone else.

I wondered if they considered buying the house they rent. They also maybe couldn't get a loan for the amount they wanted.

I can't freakin believe that they didn't save anything from Ollie for the new baby?? Goddamn, I'm the oldest child and the only reason my parents bought new baby stuff was because they had twins and weren't expecting another! I can't stand these people

Re: DailyHelpFromMimi - Part 30
I'm in Canada also, and my DR made sure to schedule my induction for exactly one week past my due date. He said he doesn't like letting woman go longer than a week. myself and baby were 100% healthy, okay and she was only 6lbs 14oz at birth. He had even told me if I would have asked, he would have induced me on my due date. I guess it just depends on who you get as a dr. I don't know how anyone would WANT to do 2+weeks overdue, that's just crazy to me!!HelloSweetie1 wrote:Read again. I said UNLESS YOU ELECT to go longer. At 10 days over, it can go either way, and they will induce if asked. There are increased risks for baby past 42 weeks, and given many women are off on their dating, 40+10 is the standard for a SCHEDULED induction (with no complications) at the facility I work at.Mamaandmore wrote:Not all doctors induce at 10 days in Canada.. that is kind of a sweeping generalization. It depends on the woman, the baby, and the overall health of both. I went 11 days over, and my doctor told me that as long as I was fine, baby was fine, and there was enough fluid - that there was no reason to induce.
That's great your doctor let you go to 11 if you wanted, but if a woman had asked at 10 he would most likely have complied. I have heard of very few women to deliver past the 42 weeks. It's more common than not to have an induction at 40+10... you're an exception

Or hearing about how apparently pregnancy makes it ok to make your sister put your shoes on your feet, and somehow causes you to not be able to hit a cup while peeing?

She is such a lying princess! Gosh I am 10 days away from my due date, I can still put my shoes on! Just cleaned my garden and I am fine! Yes I am definitely asking my hubbi for more help but come on! I am 11weeks more pregnant than her! But to walk around DL, she is ABSOLUTELY fine!
Edit: Hellosweetie, were you induced then as you were overdue? Just curious
I am a big girl 270lbs and I peed in a cup every ob appointment with my last baby. Seriously isn't hard.
Re: DailyHelpFromMimi - Part 30
Missy's pregnancy excuses are such bs. Like everyone else, I had no problem peeing in a cup and getting my shoes on at 40 weeks. I'm fairly slim and gained 45lbs with my son. He was literally a damn beachball under my shirt. I was massive. She's such a lazy whiney brat.
