I can't even imagine a scenario where I would not follow the paramedics' advice and take my child pronto to the ER. First---head injury. Second---risk of infection. Third---as a non-medical person I'd be horrified by the injury, which I know is not a helpful reaction but it sure would galvanize me to get to the hospital asap.
Ashley saying she cried over the decision, and both she and T mentioning their 11 pieces of luggage and how no one knew where the cars were at the Salt Lake City airport---that could be shock speaking, but someone with them needed to say: those are details. First thing to do is take Indie to the hospital. We can care for the other children.
All that stressing about where the cars were and the luggage, for crying out loud---take taxis! Get your priorities straight!
