Yeah thats what i meant because hes only a baby and he could just fall. I wouldnt be worried if he was a toddlerfortwendy wrote:As an older toddler it's fine, if not kind of risky. But it's SUPER risky with a baby who is in a phase of wildly throwing themselves backwards/around and/or being unsteady on new/uneven surfaces - even sitting, and you either need to support their back/hold their hands tightly OR hold their legs tightly in the event they do flop backwards, in which case it's VERY hard to hold on, and the kid is totally twisted up too. I know from experience (never dropped son to date #damngoodmom)!ILurkThereforeIAm wrote:jrgold19 wrote:Just seen the pic of chris with landen on his shoulders and that looks super frightening!! I have tons of pictures of me as a kid like that on my dad's shoulders.. but, my dad had a huge beard so I was grabbing on to that with my hands.
As a childless woman, idk if that's the correct way to put a baby on your shoulders, although I've seen plenty of similar pictures. I think holding on to his arms would be really uncomfortable for Landen, but I'm not 100% sure if that's the "Correct Way" to do it.
