They probably did want them to meet Calvin, but I bet they didn't want B&M to show up on their doorstep THAT soon. When they mentioned at the end of their vlog that B&M's visit was short noticed, I could see it in their faces that this was not what they expected. Like they were driven into a corner. After B&M go back home and not move to Utah (or Portland), I think we will see even more of a distant relationship between the two families and a closer one between E+J and Samika/Trixin fam.

Driven into a corner? I don't think you guys are giving E&J much credit here. Yeah, they're nice people, but they aren't children. They can say no if they don't want company.
I'm sure it was kind of short notice, but at least B&M are staying in a hotel. They aren't intruding, really. And if they're there to look at houses, that's something they can do on their own. And it's a 100% true statement that B&M can help out with Calvin. Having a newborn is tons of work. The more hands the better!

Ellie and Jared have a backbone, you guys lol. I hate B&M as much as you, but you guys are painting a pretty awful portrait of them right now.

There's plenty of motive behind it though. The portrait that's being painted is awful, I agree, but you can't put ANYTHING past these two. Views are slumping. E+J have gained around 50,000 subs in the last two weeks or so, their view counts are higher, and they're in with the Trixin crew...all things Bryan wants. Them coming to "help" with Calvin (did anyone notice that as soon as Missy held him, Bryan shoved a camera in his face?) and "look at houses" is just a ruse to get the view/sub count up (which won't work, by the way) and inch Bryan closer to Shay (which won't work either). And they're so desperate for that fame and cash flow that they will take advantage of people they call their friends and steal other people's ideas.

I absolutely cannot stand people wanting to come visit when I had a newborn. Visiting in the hospital was even more annoying because I was so exhausted all I wanted to do was rest and heal. The last thing you want to worry about when getting no sleep is having to have a clean house for company. All I wanted to do was sleep when the baby slept. At least they were classy enough to get a hotel and bring dinner.

Sorry, I still think they are too nice. Ellie was pregnant, complaining of back pain and being tired and still gave up her bed to B&M. That's pretty damn nice

Lol you all make very valid points. what irks me the most is how they keep everything a secret. "Secret plane trips". "Secret house hunting." "Secret this secret that." WHY.
It can't possibly bring in more views?
I know everyone was team Bryan there for a while but I still cannot stand him at all. Just the faces he makes when he talks, the tone of his voice, everything!

She gave up her bed to them, and they probably conceived their child in it. I don't know about you guys, but I don't get down and dirty in other people's beds...it seems really disgusting and rude.

The older the video the more views as not everyone watches them the day they come out. I'd look back at a week or 2 ago & see the average number.

I so vividly remember having mastitis with my third child, running a high fever, being absolutely wiped out and having my mom say, "you're being rude. People are here to see you". When my first grandchild was born (six weeks ago) I told my daughter-in-law that I was only a phone call away and would be there whenever she needed my help but that I was going to give them time to bond as family for the first month or so. Incidentally... my son and DIL are going on their first date since baby tomorrow night... and they asked me to come and sit at a different table with the baby because my DIL is not ready to be away from her completely yet!

I was afraid that I wasn't going to be able to watch E & J while the Daily Lumps were there but I am relieved that they at least had the decency to stay in a hotel.

I have no visitor at the hopistal just my mom and we were discharge no one was allow to come to my house for the first 3 months my cousin only and that's because she came from Venezuela to help us I need time to know my new role as first time mom and get to know my twins all I wanted was to be in my pijamas and not to worry about guest or cooking nothing and a LOT people hate me for it. Now my twins are 16 months old and until now I don't regret it.
E&J could have easily said not but as much as love them they both families are doing this for views let's be honest.

Oh, I know when I have kids the only people I want as guest would be mine or his parents. Grandparents get special privilege.

No siblings either. If his older brother marries the girl he's with now I don't need her coming in giving me unwanted advice. I'll only tolerate that from me mummy.

Parents need time to readjust their lives when they add a new addition.
