No shit!!!! Especially if you KNOW you'll be having more children, especially close together, you keep the things! I've kept everything but monkey shit people got me. People LOVE to get monkey things for babies. Not a fan at all. Ironically, Missy's fave!

UGH I HATE monkey themed nursery's too! I never understood why they went from a quiet and calm nursery theme like nautical to the harsh and stupid "monkey" theme. Ugh. I have a lot of opinions on nursery's lol.

Not to mention all of the stuff that they were given for the nautical themed nursery! I don't know anyone who has changed a nursery after it was all decorated. They are so immature that it is scary they are parents.

I really wonder what all these vloggers plan B's are...I mean, most of them have quit normal jobs to live this lifestyle, but what's going to happen when they lose subscribers? What if something happens to you tube (highly doubt it) but what I'm saying is, do they seriously plan on vlogging for the rest of their lives? It just seems crazy to me, I don't know.

I'm in Canada also, and my DR made sure to schedule my induction for exactly one week past my due date. He said he doesn't like letting woman go longer than a week. myself and baby were 100% healthy, okay and she was only 6lbs 14oz at birth. He had even told me if I would have asked, he would have induced me on my due date. I guess it just depends on who you get as a dr. I don't know how anyone would WANT to do 2+weeks overdue, that's just crazy to me!!
I wanted a natural birth, so induction without a medical reason seemed crazy to me. All of the doctors I talked to, (being in a birthing clinic and having the chance of any of them on call the day I went into labour - you have to meet with all of them at least once), said they don't induce without medical necessity. But, you could be right that it just depends on the doctor you get and maybe all these doctors were likeminded (would make sense all working at the same birth clinic). When the time comes for baby number two, I'm pretty sure I won't request to be induced then either.. Just personal preference :)

i know! even back when i liked them, i remember going "wtf. that is so fucking rude" when they completely scrapped the nautical theme and therefore all of the nautical items subscribers sent them.... but i guess "the monkey always wins"

In Canada you can go for however long you want post dates, you just voice it. Most woman take the word of the doctor first before making an educated & informed decision. Thus most doctors generally induce at just over 41 weeks, because most woman don't know their options.
I went to 43 weeks 1 day before my son was born. I was in no rush and GASP could still put my running shoes on and tie the laces myself. My fundal height measured 46 weeks so I was huge. Missy is just a spoiled lazy brat! Oh and I could pee in a cup just fine too. Gosh she makes me want to puke in disgust.

I'm sure that their fame will end eventually because there will be a point when no one will give a shit, especially when their kids will be teenagers. lol they will have a hard time finding real jobs though. I don't think that being a YouTube personality would look good on a resume

Medical necessity means different things to different docs. The way you are phrasing it makes it sound like you are shaming anyone that gets induced that is 41+. My doctors knew exactly what they were doing. I was informed. There are risks when going over 42 weeks and I wasn't taking them. I'd been through too much. I was very informed in my decision. They may be small, but there are risks. Where I live we don't have access to "in office" ultrasounds to measure fluid level and cord function and I wasn't trusting everything would continue to be ok given that I'd had 3 consecutive losses (one late) prior to this.

I gotta be honest, the way you are talking about "most people take the word of their doctors first", sounds very Missyish. If I wasn't willing to trust in my doctor, I would have a different doctor!

Missy just posted a video on SC of Ollie having an Oreo. It's almost 10pm, what's that kid doing still up having Oreos.

Thats because he sleeps too much in the daytime so he is up half the night. He should of been asleep long ago, now to give him an oreo at that hour he is going to be too hyped up on sugar. They probably are up half the night anyways so they keep ollie up so he can be a sleeper inner instead of waking super early. It's almost 3:30 here where I live and I stay up a little later so my husband goes to sleep before me where he works during the day. I am a SAHW ( Stay at home wife) so I can sleep in a bit during the mornings. They should of gave him a piece of fruit or sent him to bed, even a glass of water before bed is good as well.

Wah. Whiny complaint. Someone suggested in the comments that the baby's name is Connor which is my babe due in December's name. Our back up name was Calvin! Ha. :(

For all you mommies pregnant, what are your upcoming baby's names? I want to hear especially if you're having a boy. To see if they end up announcing a name one of us are going to be using soon!

they seem to be either trolling, or using a decoy for the name.

i wonder if they're holding out on the name reveal because they're too lazy to film it, or they're trying to gain as much momentum as po$$ible.... or because missy still has no attachment to this child and that's why it's taken them ~this long~ to settle on a name. either way, they're boring, lazy assholes.

i love names and that's the only reason why i'm interested. and i would be annoyed if i were pregnant and they picked a name i had in mind... it'd turn me off the name straight away. ugh.

I remember them parking in the "expectant mother parking" space when Missy was like 5 weeks pregnant. I couldn't believe people could be dumb enough to think that as soon as you become pregnant you should park there! Haha Wow. I left a comment explaining that those spaces are for mothers who have physical reason to park close to the store. (usually those further along who are bigger, swollen, etc.) I'm "glad" they took up a spot then for a mother who was in need.

I would love it if the next time they go somewhere with those spots, none are free because they are taken up by other "newly pregnant" women. Better yet, when she's 35+ weeks. Karma!

Double post but about the name thing....

Have we considered he possibility that the baby's name is Hollister? They said it was different.

And if they don't put Ollie to bed until 10, so he sleeps until 9 or 10 in the morning, they will never survive having a new baby. Never. If Princess can't drag her ass out of bed before 10 (Bryan gets up with Ollie), how is she going to do middle of the night feeds?

Because it matters for the same reason female circumcision is a problem in other countries. But nah I'm not gonna start a debate lol

I still feel like if it's not your child, it's not your concern and making it your problem is very disturbing and sick! I don't care to get into a debate or argument with anyone about it. Your opinion means nothing to me just the same as mine probably does to you. So go ahead and get upset about what the Lanning-Hollister's do with their child's penis and continue to think that's OK. And I'll continue to think you have severe issues with someone else's genitalia.
I had to go back and see if there was some kind of heated debate I missed here, because your a little OTT. The video was minorly discussed.... no one was here pushing an agenda. A couple of us said it wasn't a common practice in our countries, which is true.

Even Missy said herself, a large part of why people choose to snip is tradition. Tradition isn't always a good thing (like in DKs female circ comment) and sometimes it takes debate/discussion/education to bring about change.

That's why people talk about it.

If someone on YT pierced their one month old's ears, wouldn't that be discussed?

It's a Gossip Board...we talk about the vids. That was a vid. No one was here debating pros/cons in general Image

As I stated in my first post about this, I realize this was talked about but I don't spend all my time here waiting for replies so I was behind. Jesus Christ!

It's super annoying when someone points out something someone else disagrees with (on subject or not, which happens a lot! ie the discussion going on about inductions past due dates) and the automatic response from a lot is "this is a gossip site." REALLY??? I had no idea!!! Thanks for telling me!!

cmm216 wrote:Missy's pregnancy excuses are such bs. Like everyone else, I had no problem peeing in a cup and getting my shoes on at 40 weeks. I'm fairly slim and gained 45lbs with my son. He was literally a damn beachball under my shirt. I was massive. She's such a lazy whiney brat.
I never had a problem peeing in a cup when I was pregnant. I've had a back injury since then and now every time I have to pee in a cup, I use the little top hat thing you stick in the toilet. Almost everywhere I go that needs a specimen has them in the bathroom where you collect the specimen and nobody even knows I'm using it. Of course, I'm not an attention seeker. So there's that.

As far as shoes are concerned... never had to have help while pregnant. Bonnie Hoellein had Joel put hers on in a video last week but she's like 38 weeks pregnant and HUGE. Also, I think Joel has a servant's heart and likes to do things like that.
