DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
Actually, my bad, he's still showing in the 80s on the app. I looked at the iTunes Charts online, and he wasn't on there.

Wtf. If my SO was leaving the country, yes I'd allow him to wake HIS sleeping baby to say goodbye. Good lord.

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
Does anyone else find it odd that Bryan didn't actually go to Idaho for any of these videos or photos? I mean, wouldn't that make sense if the whole album is basically you being sentimental about it?
Kinda hypocritical to talk about "being royal" in a place that you're (for some reason) so hesitant to return to.

Anemic single? Wtf? I can't disagree.DBExOG wrote:I had to, I listened to the iTunes preview of "Idaho" and as someone who hears lyrics really well, all I got from it was that they are the "Keeengs and qeeeens of Idaahooo oh oh oh oh oh" Also on iTunes, this is his description
"Bryan Lanning is an indie pop/rock singer/songwriter and one-half of an online video-blog duo with his wife Missy. Together they host the YouTube series Daily Bumps, which chronicles the young Christian couple, their ups and downs with pregnancy, and their children. For the series, Lanning composed lullabies for their sons Oliver and Finley, as well as family-oriented songs for their fans, which was released in early 2016. His debut EP, Like a Lion, is a five-song collection of uplifting and inspirational tunes. It includes the empowering and anemic single "Like a Lion" and the heartfelt "Oliver's Lullaby" a tender ode to Bryan and Missy's first child. He quickly followed the EP release with single "This is Home." - Neil Z. Yeung, Rovi"
Also, Christian? Only when it's convenient.

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
Honestly, Bryan's voice does sound like it has nodes. When he complains about singing all day and then being raspy the next. Um, that's not a good sign. If your vocal chords are healthy you should be able to sing for several days in a row. I mean you'll have to take a break eventually, but Opera singers, Broadway singers, and any singer on tour can manage to sing at least 6 days in row with maybe a break on Sunday. He is just hurting his voice.
Someone said it sounds like his voice is placed incorrectly and YES. He needs lessons so badly because he is on the fast track to having absolutely no voice at all.

I know. Who came up with that description? "Empowering and anemic"? Can't be both, can it?msrubeus wrote:Anemic single? Wtf? Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
That's what I was thinking. Broadway singers can hit high notes perfectly (of course, everyone has the odd mistake, but you get what I'm saying) eight times a week and then be good to go the next week, yet Bryan's complaining after a night of singing for what??? An hour or so?usernamessuck wrote:Honestly, Bryan's voice does sound like it has nodes. When he complains about singing all day and then being raspy the next. Um, that's not a good sign. He either has nodules or is messing up more than we know so it's damaging his vocal cords and he is well on his way to them. Like, is there any footage of his whole shows? Does he scream his notes? Or is he obviously singing notes out of his range? That's the only way his voice would be raspy after WITHOUT having nodules, and that's going to lead to him getting them because he's damaging the cords.
If he doesn't get his act together and learn how to sing properly, he could have a vocal hemorrhage. Which isn't going to be fun.
Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
So Missy revealed in the vlog today she thinks she has yet another UTI. Honestly, I've come to the conclusion that every time Missy has a UTI it's because her and Bryan are TTC and she isn't smart enough to know that you need to pee afterwards. She had a bunch before she was pregnant last year, none, and now she's had a couple in the last few months.
I mean, it's either that or she wipes back to front. I'm not sure which is more likely.

Anyone know if this is a legit website or if some random daily bumps fan posted this? I found a picture of missy and Bryan on it from the premiere of keeping up with the joneses. The name on it is Melissa Hollister, which is weird because she's married.

Oliver's Song" is mentioned, but not "Finley's Lullaby". Poor Finn, left out again.Cgl33 wrote:I'm guessing anemic was a typo for epic. Everything is epic.

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
Someone posted a link last night of him singing live, and honestly it just sounds like he sings his notes, but he like resists his voice so they come out strained/whiny/nasaly. His songs don't have a big range at all. So he's not singing hard notes. His placement is just horrible and you can HEAR how he's hurting his voice. It's like he's going for this pop sound, but doesn't quite know where to put his voice to make it sound good and make sure he's not hurting himself.tintin15 wrote:That's what I was thinking. Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
Anyone remember the vlog not long ago when Bryan asked Ollie "who is more embarrassing dada or mama?" And Ollie replied "you!"
I'm not sure if that was brought up.
But even Ollie is embarrassed.
Yes he's 3, has no idea what that means... But we all agree with him.

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
Oh, yes, that's something I've noticed and mentioned. He sings like he's forcing out every note he sings, even if it's perfectly in his range. Like either he's not opening his throat or he's forcing his larynx up like craaaaazy. Which can obviously be just as damaging as singing out of your range or too loudly.usernamessuck wrote:Someone posted a link last night of him singing live, and honestly it just sounds like he sings his notes, but he like resists his voice so they come out strained/whiny/nasaly. Oh Bryan, being on the iTunes charts doesn't mean a damn thing when you're not even a blip on any other chart. Not Google Music, not Billboard, not Amazon, nothing. Get over yourself.

The level of obsession from their 8-12 year old fans creeps me out.

Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
Do you all remember his other song Who Knew.. Well this Who knew I liked better. I seen her in concert and she is amazing!!!
Re: DailyCambodiaLiving (Part 74)
Wow OT a little bit but Corbin and Kelsey have almost 80,000 subscribers. Huge jump since getting to the bumps. Amazing. They are now on the bumps payroll indirectly. Wonder if Bryan showed Corbin how to buy subs.
In today's vlog missy said she had an appointment at urgent care but she brought Finn with here even after leaving Ollie. But then she says it was over an hour wait. My guess entitled missy didn't have an appointment but thought she could just walk in. Don't they have a regular doctor? Always seem to be going to urgent care.
Maybe it's just me but his lyrics in that stupid song since he's talking plural "kings and queens" but isn't it just about them? "This life is all we know" shouldn't it be ...all we knew"? Oh wait know rhymes with Idaho and go.

I just realized Bryan and Missy haven't had their ten year high school reunion....
God, I feel bad for their classmates if they decide to go. They will be insufferable.

I doubt the classmates will be at all impressed by Bryan and Missy. There's so much potential for entertainment
