Re: BumsAlongTheWay part 18
My problem with the hotel room is mostly this: if you were sleeping/staying in a foreign country for a week, wouldn't you wanna sleep in your own bed asap? So I feel Missy is really the one being selfish. Bryan could have gone home to his own bed and Ollie could have seen his daddy.

Unless this is just another one of their "aren't we a cute couple in love" moments they've manufactured for the vlog and Bryan is in on it. That wouldn't surprise me either.
Either way, poor Ollie.

I honestly haven't watched them in ages they complain so much about how hard parenting is. It would be a Walk in the park if both my partner and I were home together all the time. The level of dramatics from these two so over the top.

My children, who don't know why daddy isn't around anymore and who have a hard time going about their routines while he's missing. Bryan and Missy are selfish, and will be just as selfish with baby number 2. Shame on Jim and Suzanne for continuing to enable these two instead of telling them to grow up for Ollie's sake.

I completely agree. I'm a stay at home mom, my husband supports the family with two jobs while he is trying to get his dream career started, and my son misses him soooo much when he's gone! Even if he only gets to see him for 2 hours during the day it's a huge deal. I would never keep my son from seeing his dad in their circumstances. Completely and utterly selfish parents, I can't even get in their mindset whatsoever.

It's this picture of a dress that people can't agree what colors it is. Some say white and gold (it's clearly this) others see black and blue (they're crazy) lmao
...The dress is legitmately blue and black. 1) Color match it your paint program 2) the store doesn't sell the dress in white and gold.
Sorry for getting off topic.
Bryan is dumb.

The dress things is like a slow gif of video, it actually changes colors if you look at it long enough

http://www.buzzfeed.com/catesish/help-a ... itely-blue this is the original link that talks about it, the picture came from tumblr. That picture for sure changes, but people are trying to make it into the scientific study and how the brain processes certain things blah blah ... The things they say might be true, but the original picture changes lol

Off topic: about that damn dress. Tumblr user swiked (swiked.tumblr.com) is the original poster for the picture of the dress. She posted a picture with the actual dress on to the event she was wearing it too if anyone is curious. There is no scientific study behind it. Just a girl who happen to take a weirdly lighted picture off her phone that happened to create an ooptical illusion lol

Haha "we didn't scam you this time" nearly peed my pants lol

Edit: sorry couldn't figure out how to reply to a comment.. Now the thread has moved on... I feel silly, carry on lol

BumsAlongTheWay part 18
Every mom would love to do this, and have their husband's attention all to them self, but it isn't about just you anymore when there are kids. Missy is such a baby, and I can't believe her mom didn't set her straight when she was asked to babysit.Ambrosia wrote:When my husband finally comes home I cant even imagine dumping my kids off somewhere and spending the night alone with husband!
I think this is exactly why Ollie isn't speaking yet. Missy doesn't want to give up the attention, so they talk over his chatter and just talk to one another. They can go ahead and make another baby, but what you are doing is adding another child to the family, and eventually that will be 2 talking children competing with her for Bryan's attention.
I really think she'll end up competing with and hating a daughter once she was independent and passed the cute dolly stage.

Re: BumsAlongTheWay part 18
When my husband came home from being away for 6weeks, he wanted to see the kids. That's the first thing he wanted to do.
So big on "family" but yet leaves their son at home while they stay in a hotel.
But yeah that's cool.. Dads been gone for a week now moms gone too..

I just can't believe what I am reading right now! Being in a hotel for one night??? Seriously???
I can't imagine how neglected Ollie might be when the camera is off....

In Ollie's case one might actually call that a blessing.

Re: BumsAlongTheWay part 18
I can hear the minions already... Missy worked hard and missed Bryan. She deserves a break too!
I kinda thought that was her surprise, what else would it have been?
Oh and prediction- the vlog will be late. "It's not our fault, is the hotel's wifi guys!"
"This Is Home" Bryan, really? No, that's a hotel. Yay, he gets to shamelessly plug his song again tomorrow when he actually gets home.
The other YouTubers must hate these two, right? (end rant)

Re: BumsAlongTheWay part 18
Is Ollie behind on talking for his age? I was just wondering because I saw some comments about it and I don't have my kids yet so I don't really know what age they should start talking at. How old is Ollie anyway?

Re: BumsAlongTheWay part 18
^ All babies grow at different rates, but Ollie is a year and a half old (I refuse to say months after a year unless it's like "18 months" which is a year and a half) and his speech or lack thereof alarms some people here. He barely opens his mouth 99% of the time in the vlogs to talk, doesn't talk when prompted (yesterday's vlog being an exception) and sounds like he's mumbling, but B&M make "words" out of it anyway. As someone mentioned earlier, he used to questioningly say "A da?" like asking what something was, and instead of telling him whatever the thing was he was pointing at, B&M would just "A da?" back at him. Ollie mostly points and grunts or "eh eh eh"-s at things from what the vlogs show.
My cousin who is about 6 months older than Ollie just had her 2 year check up. My aunt was told she should be saying at least 5-7 word sentences and 100+ words. My cousin's response was looking at the doctor and saying (I shit you not) "that's a nice stethoscope you got there."
