Don't worry guys, she'll get a new couch soon. Image I think she's getting some of her DIY inspiration from Rachel and Babies... Hopefully for the better, Rachel doesn't spend as frivolously for home decor and her house looks pretty nice.

So she means to say she bought a coffee from Starbucks, took it home, got Aria and Nolan down for a nap and then drank her coffee... isn't it horribly cold and nasty by then? Like why go to Starbucks for something she could make in a couple of minutes at home and drink fresh?! Image

(Btw, sorry if the photo doesn't work, never uploaded from the app before :s)

Yup, I think she has her sofa set up that way because of where the TV cable/outlet is situated. If she moved the longest part of the sofa somewhere else in the room, if it'll even fit anywhere else, it wouldn't be sitting directly in front of the TV. Unless of course she wants cords running all over the room, which I doubt. I think that outlet can be moved but not without an electrician, the cable guy and someone who knows how to patch drywall.
Bottom line, her sofa is just too big for that room. That's something most people take into consideration before saying "yes, we'll take it" when looking for a place to rent. They visualize and ask themselves "Will my furniture fit in here?"

As someone said above, it's only a matter of time before she buys a new sofa anyway. Thats still not going to remedy the awkward floor plan of the house but at least with a smaller sofa the kids will have more room to move around in the living room- or should I say "dining room" as she called it in her **accident with mad rush to ER for stitches just waiting to happen** 'Farmhouse Coffee Table' video. Ugh, when I look at that coffee table all I can see is a gaping wound. No thank you! And yes, I'm a bit of a paranoid mama but better safe than sorry. ;)

But it's not her house, so sadly, she can't be changing the electrical and cable outlets unless her landlord wants to pay for it. ;) I too see a new couch or couches in the future. They could use the loft area for watching tv. All in all I really hate that floorplan. It's so unusable! Good thing she's only renting and isn't stuck with it forever.

I think the dining room is going to be her filming room maybe. I'd have done it differently. I would have made the dining room the playroom and the playroom the office. She could put a small couch in the dining room and maybe a tv idk. Such useless spaces.

A rug could solve the cord issue. Or the cord could go along the bottom of the wall out of the way? There's always a solution. I honestly just think she likes it like that. Not this girl. Lol

She packed her sick kids up in the car to go get coffee when she has a perfectly good Keurig at home? Ok then.

Ah! Good point about the work involved in switching the outlets and it not even being their home. I assume Eans uncle would be agreeable to the change if it were done professionally and not on his dime, most likely. But yes, you're right. They don't have the authority to make those kinds of changes to the home.
I like your idea of putting the TV in the loft area. That's probably what I would do. Gah! Thank God figuring out how to make that place make any kind of livable sense isn't my job. I'd have pulled all my hair out by now. Hats off to her if she can figure it out.

Right?! I love my coffee in the morning too but as soon as I bought a Keurig my trips to Starbucks stopped completely. Plus all those coffee drinks at SB, Dunken Donuts, Krispy Kreme, McD etc are loaded with tons of calories. That alone is enough reason for me to stick to my Keurig. Not to mention the daily cost of those pricey drive thru coffee drinks.

Same here! I'm obsessed with my coffee but I'm not willing to down all those calories and sugar (particularly while breastfeeding - Hello Brit??) and throw away the money constantly. And I am seriously shocked she would put so much effort into getting her SICK kids into the car just to go get a damn latte. She seriously complains so much about having to take the kids places, yet will load them into the car (while sick and miserable) to get a latte lol

Let's not forget the fact that the caramel apple spice is literally just apple juice and syrup. So you're not even getting the added boost of caffeine, you're just drinking empty calories. It's a drink meant for kids. Which I guess is fitting, since Britney is still a kid herself.

As soon as my son was mobile, we traded out our coffee table for a leather ottoman. Way safer and much less likely to bust his head open. What was wrong with the leather ottomans she had before? Oh right. Britney wants her house to look like it's straight out of Good Housekeeping magazine or something.
In the end, we're all just dreams...

Lol just last weekend my husband went to the supermarket and bought all the stuff he needed to make caramel apple cider drinks at home. It's pretty simple and way cheaper than buying them at SBucks. I'm just not a huge fan of that drink. Too sweet for me.

I thought those ottomans she had were perfect for a home with small children but I guess they weren't pinteresty looking enough. ;)

I think it was quite nice to see a D.I.Y video for a change and i must say i did like that table. I like think the sofa goes well as she can watch the children in the play room if she is on the sofa and its nice and open. I like that the table had the wood and then had a flow and some off the pictures had the colour too.

It's because the builder is a cheap throw-up-one-hundred-houses-that-all-look-the-same company. Her house (obviously she didn't buy it, just rents) only costs $170,000. It has a large square footage.. But because it's so cheaply made, the price reflects that.

I hate houses with wasted space and that house has SO much wasted space. It actually bothers me alot. They dont even need a dining room, since they have an eat in kitchen and Brit doesnt strike me as the kind to have a formal dinner party...

Yes, I completely agree! I have a Keurig as well so I hardly ever get coffee while I am out. Maybe on occasion (like once every couple months) I'll get a white chocolate mocha from McDonalds. I don't even use the K-Cups, I use the "My K-Cup" which uses my own coffee and it's a hell of a lot cheaper in the long run!

Hey guys, one day I'm going to watch a few of her videos and count how many times she takes her hands off the wheel. Yesterday I watched the video of them at the geneticist and she took her hands off the wheel TWICE. What an idiot.
