DailyBores (Part 104)
Re: DailyBores (Part 104)
I kinda like their podcast. I think this is their attempt to get back their older audience. Kids won’t be interested in it. I hope they don’t have regular segments with the kids, they should keep it like a when-the-kids-go-to-sleep type podcast.

Yes! I would totally watch.
Bryan really does have good business sense. He is why their channel has taken off compared to their friends (C&K, E&J). If they can pull the podcast off he will have managed to secure the kid audience AND the adult, something not many on youtube have done.

DailyBores (Part 104)
Bryan does have good business sense, but where he was early with the vlogging trend, he's late on this one. Many other (larger) YTers have gone the podcast route.... it isn't an original idea he came up with. It's a solution to the the dip in revenue that YTers have seen since the adpocalypse. None of them are making money as easily as they used to. The YT golden age is over. Podcasts aren't big money, and they need to curb their spending and start saving. They were lucky enough to get rich quick the first time, but this isn't going to be round 2. They need to start working, saving and investing in order to secure their future at the same level.

Im pretty sure if the podcast takes off it's because of Dallas.

Everyone they have supposedly been "friends" with, has fallen by the wayside: SlyFox, the Johnsons (who were actually family!) the Kims, E&J, C&K, Corbin and Kelsey (remember the pictures with June captioned "So glad these kids get to grow up together!"?). These people can't keep friends. And I don't think it's _all_ just people using them. There has to be something off on their end as well.

Why because of him? He has 1612 followers. He's just another Jeff that will be besties with Bryan for awhile and then move on when he gets tired.onbreak wrote:Im pretty sure if the podcast takes off it's because of Dallas.

I feel like some people don't understand how podcasts work. Even the ones that get big enough to tour and hold live shows, haven't made people rich. What I think Bryan and Missy are fixing to do is start a Patreon through this podcast. The kid viewers will want to subscribe to be on the "secret club" ans they won't look as shady and desperate of they somehow say it has to do with the podcast instead of the regular channel.
Bottom line.... It has to be REALLY GOOD to blow up. Jenna and Julien and Shane and his friends are far more interesting than Bryan and Missy, and even their podcasts aren't huge moneymakers.

Re: DailyBores (Part 104)
Missy is totally going to home school Oliver. I'm a stay at home mom too, and I totally get missing your kid's, but he only went two days a week. Missy didn't miss him, as much as she hated having to get up to drive him.
I'm not against part time preschool, but some children need it. Oliver is one of them.
Re: Bryan's voice. I really do wonder if he's been exploring his "other interests." They talk about flirting and he calls her "Babe" a million times inmplying that they are together, but their body language says the opposite. They seem comfortable with one another, but not intimate. Missy's hemophobic opinions aside, I wouldn't at all be surprised to find they now have an open relationship. Dude definitely had a different tone to his voice and overall body language.
They are supposedly going to be open, but they totally skipped over the part where they got a divorce. That Liars and Cheaters page years ago had someone say that they moved to California to get Missy away from California but Bryan followed. I bet he and Missy "ran away" to New York to live in their car and force Mimi and Papa to let them move in. Can we really see Mimi agreeing to a move like that when Missy can't even go shopping without her mom? She must have really loved Bryan back in the day.

Is their podcast worth it? Always looking for something to listen to when it's quiet at work.

The more your parents and friends are against your partner the more you convince yourself you need them. Reverse psychology.
Mimi will be homeschooling. Missy has a life now.

Re: DailyBores (Part 104)
I wonder if Bryan knows who Carter Sharer is. I don't watch his videos, but I watched Danny Gonzalez talk about him. Basically Carter and his siblings make videos about pond monsters and other stupid things like that. I definitely wouldn't be surprised if Bryan stole the idea from him.
The floor is lava was never interesting or funny to me, so I'm definitely not watching the vlog today

Re: DailyBores (Part 104)
I think the podcasts are going to be a whole lot of B&M continuing to talk about how relatable they are, and the things they want to share, but never actually doing so.
Based on the comments, too many members of their kid audience are watching for them to ever really get into adult content. Crossing a line could jeopardize their other channel.
If anyone else watches.... count how many times Missy checks her phone. Girlfriend has a major addiction to that thing!

The one where Finn had his eyes tested. They were in the car after the appt. she and mimi said that’s what the Drs thought he had. The next step is a genetic workup. Such a random/strange thing since he doesn’t have the obvious traits.lex_3859 wrote:What video is they talk about the Marfans syndrome?

When they were exploring abandoned places it reminded me of the Proper Brothers.

Re: DailyBores (Part 104)
They're at VidCon. I wonder if they left the boys so they could party. I actually think it's a good idea to not bring them. I've seen too many pictures of Ollie looking like an exhibit at the Zoo to think that going to VidCon is good for them.
My daughter wishes we could go. I have no desire to. I think I would probably say something that would get me in trouble if I was actually face to face with most of these "family vloggers". One question I would have to ask is what on Earth ever made them think anyone would be interested in their grocery hauls?

That's true. A budget haul or major couponing is interesting. I am talking about regular Target runs and Costco...onbreak wrote:I love budget grocery hauls
